Shaved body panels. Hood emblem and indicators have been smoothed.

Denver has been taking care of all 3 of my cars for the past 4 years. 2 mini coopers and my mustang. Both minis have received regular servicing and we haven't had any issues. One mini had to have the water pump changed out as well as some other hoses but Denver was honest about the repairs and let me know the job just gotten bigger and wanted to make sure I was informed with why more stuff is getting done. The other mini had what we thought was a bigger issue, all the oil spilled into a parking lot one random afternoon. I Had it towed to Denver's he investigated and let us know that that a connection came out and topped the mini with oil again. He then secured the problem so it didn't happen again and told us don't worry about it. Can't beat that. Freaking out thinking I was about to have an unexpected expense then Denver says yo it wasn't a big fix you're all set. Now the mustang. This cars a nightmare but Denver has brought it back to life several times. I took it in to get new ac hoses. He Had it fixed in a couple hours. Clutch burnt out on a road trip got the car to Denver had the clutch changed by the afternoon. Denver has also done more then servicing for me. He shaved my Mini Cooper body panels. Installed my suspension on my Mini Cooper for $350 when another shop up the road tried to charge more than double. And on the mustang he installed my air ride system. All around Denver is a honest bad ass mechanic that is always a good connection to have.

I recently stopped into this location due to the amazing reviews....this was one of the worst decisions I've ever made. I called Denver to inquire about an "oil change" on a Saturday afternoon, he was kind enough to fit me. Once I got there, thankfully there were no other customers at the shop in front of me. While waiting for someone to bring some oil from an auto store (he ran out of oil), he & I had some time to chat. I asked him if changing my AC filter would make the air colder, in which he responded it's all about the level of freon you have in your vehicle. He told me there was a system he had in house that would set it to the proper amount ($200+ Value). I politely declined his offer. After about hour or so of waiting inside for my vehicle to be completed, Denver came in to notify me that my vehicle was completed. He also informed me that he "reset my sensors" and changed out the freon level with the machine ($200+ Value), free of charge. Denver knew that I had a 20hr road trip in the upcoming days, so he told me to stop back in if any of the sensor lights came on. Tuesday night (3 days later) a light came on that said "low coolant level", so I stopped in first thing on Wednesday morning before I hit the road. I informed him about the sensor, he checked the coolant level, saying that he just changed it so it's just a sensor going off. The car should be fine on my 20hr journey across the desert. Due to his reviews, and background in automobiles, I trusted his judgment. The light continued to stay on, notifying me about the "coolant level" being low, but again I was told it was just a sensor. I decided to take a break about 14 hours into my drive...stopping at a rest stop to refresh my body. As I start to take off, about 5 miles after I leave the rest stop my vehicle prompts to say " engine overheating". I could not believe my eyes. From stress, fear, anger, I was in complete shock. With the time being 5a in the morning, 150 miles away from the nearest town, I had to sit and wait for hours. I called a tow truck company, which eventually showed up 3hours later. In the meantime as I waited, I reached out to Denver that afternoon to see what could have possibly gone wrong. When I first called in, the phone was answered by some gentleman named Joe. I explained the situation, and all this staff memeber could do was argue with me about it being an "electrical" issue with the car. To his knowledge, it's impossible for a car to overheat within 10 seconds of cranking it up, if it's not driving. I think this is what made me most upset. Asking me what I wanted him to do, since he knew every single detail. It's always that one bad apple that puts the company in the dirt. Joe is that apple. There's no need to yell at a paying customer who was just trying to get some answers. About an hour later Denver called to assist me. He was kind enough to take some time out on his off day, and try to walk me through some things. It's unfortunate that one bad judgment(not doing a proper evaluation when I brought it back in), caused so much damage to my vehicle. His words were, "I can't control what happens to your vehicle after you leave my shop". I completely respect and understand where he is coming from with this, but a simple oil change would not have caused this damage. I ended paying $800 for the tow company to ship the vehicle to my final destination. I also finally made it there, 10 hours later. Once the car finally got to Range Rover the following day. I was quoted in the area of $8,000 to repair everything. They said the oil and coolant was not properly mixed in when he changed it all out. Which resulted in a blown head gasket. Seems like the sensor was doing its job and telling me there was a problem. Overall I knew that Denver meant well with his nice gesture. However everything that's free, isn't always good for you. I'm not quite sure what was worst, the $8,800 tab for the repair and tow or having a conversation with the rude and incompetent staff member, named Joe. Proceed with caution. Confident and relieved we'd found a "go to" mechanic in Phoenix, one month later the car began experiencing intermittent power steering outage issues. Our son (in college and alone far from home) immediately brought the car back in, but AMC essentially refused to pop the hood, or otherwise even look at the car "unless the driver could replicate the issue". Two weeks later power steering and AC completely failed on a busy highway (due to a leaking radiator hose that ultimately fried the alternator). Paid an additional $800.00 (plus towing) to a competitor to fix what AMC should've caught. Also, AMC hours are now M-Th and of course this emergency happened on a Friday. First time Yelp has led me astray. 9/9/2026 - Owner Gilberto immediately reached out on Yelp below apologizing and asking for submission of additional repairs documentation to handle the case "fairly". To be fair, I did not go into specifics of prior phone interactions with Gilberto - owner - after the car was first towed to AMC and the had to be retowed to another shop due to AMC's inability to handle after hours emergencies (eg., no closed parking, nor key drop or other available). While all calls with were professional and courteous, Gilberto was ultimately unhelpful and disappointing (leaving us with limited options). The fact that AMC refused to do anything after the car was brought in by our son (for scary warning signs similar to the original problems) just prior to a catastrophic (towable) failure on a busy roadway is what is unacceptable. Not saying AMC is a bad business, they just really blew it. For minor car maintenance (oil changes and tire repairs) AMC is probably great. For major car repairs go elsewhere in the valley, please.

As a first-time customer, I was disappointed with my experience. I scheduled an inspection and was…read moretold it would take about "half an hour." I understand that automotive work can sometimes take longer than expected, but after an hour and a half I had to ask for an update because no one had communicated the delay. I noticed on the front desk computer that I was entered into the system as a drop-off, even though I was waiting for my vehicle. I always wait during appointments, and if that impacts how service is prioritized, it should have been confirmed when scheduling. I also noticed there appeared to be either a misunderstanding or scheduling issue with another customer who had an appointment after mine, which raised concerns about how appointments were being managed. When I asked for an update on the timing, the response I received felt dismissive. The employee responded that "nothing is ever a half an hour, not here, not any shop." I understand that estimates can change and that inspections may take longer than expected, but my concern was not that it took longer--it was that I was given an estimate, waited significantly beyond that timeframe, and had to ask for an update myself. The employee told me he would check on the timing and get back to me, but I did not receive an update afterward. Instead, he returned to the office and continued working with vehicles. Another employee also said he would check on the status and where the first employee was at, but I did not receive an update from him either. A simple update or revised timeframe would have gone a long way. The inspection, which was quoted at approximately 30 minutes over the phone, ultimately took about two hours and cost around $100. The findings included recommended back strut replacement, brake fluid service, and a battery replacement, with an estimated total of around $1,760. They also identified a bent rim, but I did not appear to receive a quote for that item despite requesting one. I have no doubt that their technicians have the knowledge and skills to diagnose and repair vehicles, and that expertise has value. However, expertise does not replace the need for clear communication and respect for a customer's time. I was hoping for a shop that values the customer's time as much as their own. Given this experience, along with pricing that appears to be higher than other shops I have compared in the area, I am uncertain whether I will return for future service. I hope the shop improves its scheduling process and communication with customers when delays occur. ******* Edit in response to their Google review commentary: It's worthwhile to note the company response below essentially argues pricing (which was never contested as explained in my above review). The pricing was provided for other individual's knowledge of business pricing and a stated reason for hesitation in repeated business. There was no argument to the state of the car either-- it's at a shop as it needs repair. I went to one other business, not multiple as was stated in person and over the phone-- indicating a lack of clarity again with notation on client accounts more publicly-- and and was quoted half an hour of my time with no updated timeline despite two requests to one staff member as well as the owner, Jesse, who just walked away. The Argumentative and dismissive responses on the stated concerns in the severe lack of timing and communication are what have just ensured I do not return to this establishment and suggest others take a closer look at what shop they choose for the work on their vehicles.

How wrong I was. After having it several days, they tell me that they can't fix the original problem because they "Couldn't find the part - and wouldn't install an after-market part off of Ebay" (My car is a 1999 w/ low mileage) Then the real Clinker after 3 days: They call and say, "We couldn't fix your problem, but come and get your truck and pay Christian Bro's nearly $200 bucks for a "diagnostic" that I WAS NOT INFORMED UP FRONT would cost anything at all! I STILL look back at this lengthy report with shock and awe. According to this diagnostic that I didn't ask for, there's no reason, whatsoever, my truck is still able to roll down the street. You know, a way of saying, "We still want your business". I think they saw a senior-woman and saw a dumb sucker ready to be plucked out of the stream of suckers. In that lone experience, I learned Christian Brothers is all about "Show me the $ MONEY $" They are only after the money, and customer retention is completely moot. They could care LESS if you are a returning customer. I am no longer using Christian Brothers for any auto repair needs.
