I explained the situation - the comforter was still wet and badly stained, including stains from a previous lifetime - and requested that it be dry cleaned and the duvet be laundered and pressed. The cost came to just under $100. When I picked up the items yesterday I was thrilled beyond words. The comforter was folded and packed into the same type of carrying bag it came in years ago (great for summer storage) and the duvet was pressed and hanging over a heavy-duty hanger. Not a hint of the stains anywhere, both exactly as fresh-looking as new. I just finished the 20-minute ordeal of replacing the comforter into the duvet - well worth the effort and out-of-pocket to have everything beautiful as new. Thank you, Dependable. The dress fit me perfectly when I got it back. I have also had them do a couple of dry cleaning jobs for me and they did an excellent job on that as well. My items have always been ready for pick-up by the time promised. If you're driving here there is a small parking lot behind this place and there is also street parking available directly in front of their storefront. The people working here are always friendly and they are a pleasure to deal with. I will continue to come here for all of my tailoring and dry cleaning needs.

When I came to pick it up 2 days later, the jacket was in the plastic bag and she charged me an expensive quote. When I further examined the jacket inside the bag, I noticed there was still a lot of cat fur and lint on the jacket. Looks like it was barely touched and cleaned. She told me the hair couldn't be removed and used a lint roller. Ok, so what's the point of bringing in for dry cleaning if you can't remove the hair? Especially when I first dropped it off, I was told the hair could be removed. Don't go here, waste of $, and you can easily clean a better job at home by yourself. Looks like they don't even do a good job "dry cleaning" cause jacket looks exactly the same when I first bought it in.

I am very disappointed because not only are the new machines comparatively expensive, the new washing machines didn't wash my clothing well. They looked as though they hadn't been washed at all. I did my research and chose Local Laundry on Middle Street. The prices were the best I found although I was not able to get much in the way of reviews about the actual service. Feeling pressured to get the laundry caught up. I called them and they came and picked it up the next day at 11 and returned it two days later again at 11. My clothes smelled great, were folded so well they look like they had been ironed, and my three giant bags of laundry were returned to me into very nicely folded packages. All the socks were matched then wrapped so they stayed together. The T-shirts look like they had just come from the store. Towels, sheets, you name it, perfection! I'm fairly certain that when our situation changes back, we will continue to have some of our laundry done through this company. It certainly has given me a new look on life without laundry! The cherry on top is that the people who work there could not have been nicer.

I took the dress there the next week to have it shortened just enough that I could wear it and wouldn't be stepping on it. Jan greeted me right when I walked through the door and I showed her the dress and told her I wanted to have it hemmed a little. She took the dress from me and let me know what day it would be ready. When I went back to pick it up it was ready as promised. I tried the dress on soon after I picked it up and it was the perfect length so she did an excellent job. The price of the service was reasonable and the service here is friendly. I did not have to wait for long to go back and pick up my dress so I really appreciated the quick service. I will definitely be back the next time I need a tailor.

Sometimes she convinces me not to do what I originally planned and every time she's right! She understands construction very well. She is also very friendly and cares about her customers.
