The staff is so friendly at the front counter and the nurses who do the laser are so cool and professional. It's never weird or awkward, there's an easy flow of chatting and friendlyness. I feel cared about and never get my limits pushed. Sometimes laser can be a little painful when it's your first few times but I am practically a professional now and if it's ever too much they are more than happy to turn it down for you. The first appointment was easy, fill out forms ahead that they email and just go through some screening questions upon arrival with your nurse. They were super helpful in explaining the process and what to expect/do for afterwards, everyone is very friendly. Had amazing results even after the first appointment, and it's affordable. I began getting laser hair treatment for about 4 sessions so far and it is always such a smooth process. The nurses are very welcoming and well informed. They always make sure I am comfortable during the session. I do not live in Roseville but because I've had a great experience I am happy to drive up there from Sacramento. Only down side is that I do wish that I got the same nurse but I have gotten booked with different ones each time. I am not sure if it's because my appointments are on the weekend but I have noticed that it is usually busy and I never get seen right at my appointment time. This is the fourth establishment I have gone to for laser hair removal, and they are simply the best. 1st place was in the bay area, they were good but I moved so had to find a new spot. (Was under 10 sessions so wasn't a full treatment but definitely effective) 2nd was another med spa in Roseville, not a fan. I had scabbing twice and it just wasn't very effective either. I had to remind them not to go too high on the settings to avoid more scabbing. 3rd was laseraway, much more expensive and way less effective. For the most part it was just touch-ups, as I had so many sessions at this point. But the two places prior just didn't produce great results. My med spa doesn't offer LHR so I asked one of the nurses and she recommended SEV, and I could not be more pleased. It's incredibly reasonably priced, and after just one session I noticed a drastic reduction in my stragglers. I purchases the Groupon package, which the receptionist told me about. We went here 3 weeks ago to have an underarm laser. The place is aesthetically impressive. Very minimalist kind of style. The one on the desk is not very accommodating but the nurse who does the laser is good. Usually i will feel some pain during the procedure but for this Clinic it was not at all. Never been good to have my laser, will come back again to have our booster for laser. And the price is fair compared to other spa's and clinics. Highly recommended! read more

Two stars because of the friendly staff and clean environment. However, I had 12 sessions and it didn't work. They were not transparent that they stop increasing the number during the summer. However, in June I was lasered at #16 strength and then all of a sudden July-September they wouldn't go above ten. I've been going to SEV Laser since February of this year, and since then, I've had 8 sessions on my neck, underarms, and brazilian (8 on each). I haven't got to the point where my hair doesn't grow back, but my hair definitely grows in thinner and MUCH slower. This five-star review is more so for the staff (the nurses who do the lasering), I've had a different nurse each time I've gone and each of them were kind, knowledgeable, and skilled. Here's the thing. I've been getting my full Brazilian bikini laser treatments done here for 7 sessions now. I am a busy professional with four jobs so as you can imagine it can be difficult to schedule personal appointments! The nurses and the staff are VERY sweet and accommodating. However, when I showed up for my appointment this afternoon (after driving for an hour in traffic) they let me know that they cancelled my appointment due to the fact that I never confirmed my appointment when they emailed me. Thankfully, they were able to accommodate me, but if they hadn't, I would have NEVER returned. As far as I know, they have a cancellation policy where if you no show an appointment you get charged (which is on par with most cancellation policies in any medical aesthetics clinic.) BUT, to automatically cancel people's appointments for missing a confirmation email is bananas. They should at least warn the clients when booking about this policy.... and again my three star review has nothing to do with the wonderful service that I've received here. I still would recommend people to come here, but I wholeheartedly disagree with this policy (and I work in the service industry as a beauty and wellness professional) read more

I've come here twice now and I love it! The staff here is so kind and welcoming. The nurses take the time to listen for my concerns and answer questions to the best of their knowledge. I was recommended to come here by a friend. She complimented how nice and attentive the staff was during her appointments as well. I found a Groupon for here and it was a deal for an extra large area. I opted for the armpits and Brazilian deal. 6 sessions for I believe $260? Which isn't a bad deal. Groupon constantly changes the deal for this place tho so you'll have to be on the lookout for a great deal. I also came in for the upper lip it's $20 per session and they have a package they offered me. 5 sessions for $100 and get 1 free. So basically save $20. There are several laser spots closer to me, walking distance even, but I prefer to make the drive because the price here (even without the Groupon) is unbeatable. It's definitely worth the drive. During my first visit, I was nervous because 1) I didn't know what to expect, and; 2) I was using a Groupon and wondered if they looked down on that (I feel like this is a valid concern because when I inquired about laser services with a different place, they were accommodating but suddenly changed their tune when I mentioned their Groupon deal). Well, I just finished my sixth session today and I'm happy to report that the results are clear and their customer service has always been consistently amazing. They take tons of clients, so they take their scheduling seriously. If you're late, it affects everyone else. I feel bad for the RNs because they're working nonstop and barely take a breather between each appointment. Regardless, I never felt rushed and they were always more than happy to answer my questions. Despite the busyness, everyone seems happy to be working there. As for the session itself, it's not that painful. I'm lying if I said it was completely painless, but the pain is akin to someone flicking a rubber band on your skin multiple times. It's a minor sting and more of an annoyance than anything. You'll occasionally smell a faint burning scent, but nothing too bad. I had my Brazilian and underarms done. For the underarms, it took the treatment so well that most hair was gone within the first session. As for the Brazilian, there's a huuuuge decrease of hair, but I still had stubborn patches that needed to be worked on for the whole six sessions. Overall, I'm very pleased with the results and hope I don't need to go back as much for maintenance! If you're looking for a sign to do this, here it is. Just go! Service: I purchased a Groupon package to get a Brazilian laser hair removal, and got a steal! I booked 3 sessions at the front end, to ensure I adequately get through my Groupon in a timely manner, and effectively address my treatment. I was incredibly impressed with the results with one session alone. I researched that around 7-14 days post treatment, that folks notice significant hair loss, and I noticed mine at the 7 day mark. There was a SIGNIFICANT difference that I was thrilled about. Sunny helped me with my first session, and walked me through the different power settings. She helped me gauge what I could tolerate, and we maxed out what I could for my first session. I highly recommend increasing your limit to as high as you can to increase effectiveness. The pain was hardly noticeable, considering the pressure of cold air that distracts you from the pain. I am so grateful that I went with this place for my Brazilian package! Environment: The waiting area is super modern and cute--it's aesthetically pleasing! The aroma and ambiance was like entering a spa. Truly disappointed in my laser hair removal. I initially spoke to SEV's customer service line and was considering doing the Groupons but the rep said if I was doing full body then it would come out to the same price. Great. I purchased the full body laser hair removal set and stayed out of the sun the entirety of my treatments (cancelled planned vacations because I was so desperate to achieve max results). I purchased 6 sessions, as the rep recommended. My last session was in Nov 2022 and it is now the beginning of March. I am actually appalled at how there is NO CHANGE to 1) the lack of body hair 2) the consistency in body hair. I am so upset. Every session I would ask the tech to up the levels as much as possible because I was so desperate to see results. Please, don't make the same mistake I did and pay thousands just to end up out of money and see no changes. It was my first time going in for a laser treatment and I must say the experience was amazing. The customer service was impeccable, the place is so charming and clean. Upon my arrival I made sure I had a mask since they do want you to wear one before entering the business. I checked in, and waited about 5 mins before I went in for my first full face laser treatment. The technician explained everything to me in regards to before and after care. Also went over what I would feel during the process. The treatment was very quick 10mins, on a scale to 1-10 for pain I would say 1 it was not painful at all. I really appreciated how clean and thorough the staff was when it came to greeting me, the process of treatment as well as making sure everything was clean/sanitized. I did the Brazilian laser, here. During the course of the treatments I noticed I had begun to acquire red discoloration on my skin. I contacted SEV and they put an RN in touch with me. She said that I was experiencing hyperpigmentation and that it would go away shortly. It has been a year and a half since my last treatment with them and I now have extreme scarring that protrudes two inches outside of my bikini line. I contacted them about it via email and I got no reply. Having hair is far better than having scars. I deeply regret coming to SEV laser and I absolutely disparage their attentiveness to their clients. Do not get your services done here. read more

I went to my first underarm laser appt yesterday and Roseville location was sooo cute. Due to Covid, they have the doors locked and once you arrive, they unlock the door and take your temperature. They check you in with your ID and then you wait to be called in. Once the nurse calls you in the room, it takes less then 10 mins to get lasered. It was super fast and easy... Since it was my first time, I didn't know what to expect. After I got my underarms lasered, I still saw some hairs under my pits but the nurse told me it'll fall out in next couple days and plus, I'll need more than 1 session before I see real results. I'm glad I went here for my first hair laser removal because the staff was nice and professional. I tried recording the process of my laser removal but the nurse wasn't sure if I could record myself... Maybe I'll try again on my next visit. read more
