This all, too, was in the middle of the summer, which was strange as typically I can expect this in the winter but not in the summer. Anyway, I went and saw Erin. She gave me a prescription for a face cream and told me if it did not resolve my issue that I could call and either get a new prescription or come in again. As it turns out, the face cream she sent me worked its magic and I have been fine since. Will say this was probably the quickest visit to a dermatologist ever though. I was in and out faster than the speed of light.

Kayla started my appointment and made me feel comfortable, talking to me like a normal person. Brandon came in and had very good bedside manner and didn't make me feel embarrassed about my skin or any questions I had. They even went out of their way to figure out the costs of the products make sure I was okay with that, no surprises. Everything was simple and transparent. Even being a nurse who works in the healthcare field, I was nervous about this appointment because you aren't always greeted with kindness in every office; but am now so glad I went. I've heard nothing back. And THIS week I had my squamous cell carcinoma removed from my face. This has (or should have) been notated in my chart since about 3 yrs ago Harmony froze that same spot AND mentioned to me at the time it was cancer. So, Dr. Freilich (who I now believe is who saw me & not a PA) completely missed this. Since no one has returned my call, it's ok, I'm good. I think this says it all.

Dr. Ford was over an hour late in seeing me, which was especially annoying because I took off early from work because the office told me the latest I could schedule my appointment for was 3:40 and that I should come in 20 minutes early to fill out paperwork. Finally after waiting even longer in the examination room, Dr. Ford came in and, no exaggeration, spent 3 minutes examining me. Dr. Ford seemed hurried and the examination did not seem thorough at all. After waiting longer for the staff to come in with paper work, the entire process took just under 2 hours. I would recommend seeing a different dermatologist. I won't be coming back.
