I found Shear Glam after my hair made me look like witch (yes, around Halloween). Today, Amanda foil-wrapped my hair and lightened quite a bit. I love it and she's helping me stay young. I called for an appointment and had to wait a week, but if they're that good, they're busy, right? So, I went in this morning for my appointment with Missy, what a wonderful woman! I haven't cut my hair in over 2 years (yikes!) and we decided what would look best for me. We chatted and she cut, professional all the way, I must say. I very much enjoyed the chit-chat and love my cut! I really liked the way the salon is set up, it feels personal and not all bare and open like most others. I'll be back!

Part of the museum features over 3000 vintage displays dating back to the 1940's with hairdryers, posters and advertisements, mannequins with all kinds of unique curlers, a one person sauna that looks like it came from the 1950's and many vintage dolls like Farrah Fawcett. The dolls have been well preserved and still in their boxes. Jeff has been collecting these items he told me for over 19 years. The rest of the salon is working. You can make an appointment for all hair services here and be surrounded by all this nostalgia. Outside in the back of the salon I found all these 1960 hair dryers. It was just wild seeing all these historical hair tools. I had so much fun touring around this museum and talking with Jeff. Vibe is well worth a stop just to step back in time and enjoy a giggle.
