I honestly don't even know where to start. They took me in after an emergency accident that caused one of my teeth to be dislodged/dislocated on a SATURDAY with no co pay fee. Nothing. They wired my tooth I place with hopes it would heal with a follow up and again No co-pay. They did imaging and it turnt out I had significant trauma to my 4 front teeth(prolly from sports over time) and significant bone loss. It turnt out I need multiple abstractions which was horrible to even fathom and Was my worst fear honestly. Dr Shaw (sorry if I spelled ur name wrong) has been amazing. He fixed my teeth which I will show in the picture below( before and after). Never once did I feel in pain. During every procedure i didn't feel pain. He is truly amazing. When do you lose teeth whether it's injury, medical or lack of hygiene, my situation was injury. EITHER WAY it's a process. I never never left this office toothless. YES I had a partial but it was perfectly matched n no one NOT EVEN MY FAMILY knew I was having dental issues cause it looked so real which was mind blowing for me. Their staff is amazing. I recommend Desert Dream Dentistry to everyone. They gave my smile back that I almost lost. Not to mention their main perk is that they accepted me as an emergency case on a SATURDAY with ZERO NOTICE. I called them freaking out CRYING and they just told me to come in and they took care of me ever since. Keep in mind that I am medi-cal patient and after everything they did for me I will continue to come to them every year (the price isn't outrageous I promise. If I can afford as a someone on Ssi then u can) and pay out of pocket for my annual teeth cleaning every year cause this is the practice I trust when it comes to my teeth. Not to mention their staff is amazing and even remembers me by name I 100% recommend this practice to everyone. They are amazing and thank u for everything you all have done for me. I found out last July in a routine dental exam at another dentist's office that I had a resorption of my front tooth, which basically means my tooth was destroying itself from the inside, and it could not be saved. This was a shock, and it was right in front, so I was concerned about the appearance of the new tooth. I talked to several professionals, and the general consensus was that I had to have a specialist do the extraction and the final implant, while the regular dentist makes a temporary tooth and the final cap. The temporary tooth is called a "flipper" and must be removed each day for cleaning. The whole process, with time for healing during stages would take around 8 months. Fortunately, in my research, I came across Desert Dream Dentistry, with their outstanding reviews. Dr Shah and Dr Masih both met with me and explained that they have a more up to date process for implants that is much more streamlined. They did the extraction and implant in the same visit, and the healing time was only 4 months. As a bonus, the total cost was significantly less! In addition, I was scheduled for a lengthy trip about 2 weeks later, and since they make the temporary tooth in their own office, I was able to go on my trip with a very comfortable temporary tooth that was not even noticeable, and didn't have to be removed until the final tooth was ready to be put in. Both doctors were amazing, as has been noted by the other reviewers. They explained everything to me in detail, and I felt more comfortable than I would have thought possible going into the procedure. I had no pain at all during the procedure, and only minor soreness for a few days afterward. I now have a new front tooth that no one would ever notice. It is a great match both shape and color. I have found my dental practice in the desert! I have been living here for 10 years, and am so grateful to finally find a dental practice that I am completely comfortable with and have full confidence in. Dr Bonnie Rae has since joined the practice, and she is just as wonderful as the other Doctors. They are all highly skilled, committed to excellence, and are so gentle and caring. OMG Dr. Shah is an extraction super hero! After a week of horrific dental experiences a friend referred me excitedly (who on earth is excited about sending someone to get a tooth pulled?! A sadist, you would think.. but NO.. my friend is an ANGEL..). He believed in Dr Shah so much that while I was feeling lazily defeated by both the pain in my mouth and the pain of dealing with B, C, and D-list dental practices all week, he took it upon himself to leave a message on my behalf to which the staff responded first thing in the morning, getting me in to Dr. Shah's chair within hours. I sat in his beautiful dental chair (situated on his beautiful flooring), surrounded by his beautiful staff, and within what felt like moments my very un-beautiful wisdom teeth were out of my beautiful, although slightly chipmunk-looking, head. To me (and I'm guessing everyone else with a pulse) - experience is everything. From the beautiful physical environment, to the lovely and kind staff and Dr. Shah's calm and confident swag (like the kind of super-swag without the giant ego), to the quick and pain free (WIDE AWAKE btw.. which idk about you but the idea of having 2 wisdom teeth ripped out of my face while more sober than communion Sunday is TERRIFYING) extractions.. not only did I know I was in the right place, but I had this overwhelming feeling of being loved and cared for. I was Dr. Shaw's patient in Palm Springs and now I'm following him to his own new office in Palm Desert and I still live in Murrieta. If I could give him six stars I would. This office hands-down is the best. I have been to several dentist. Dr. Shah is the only one I fully trusted to do a full mouth reconstruction. I have always talked with my hand over my mouth, due to embarrassment. After 12 implants and 27 crowns, I can SMILE again. For the past 4 months I've been experiencing ear ringing, hearing loss, pain in my right ear and had treatment for inner ear infections. The symptoms would subside and then come back. This last trip to the Urgent Care when I was in so much pain with my right ear and was told my ear drum looked fine, to go see an ENT made me think, maybe it's not my ear. I don't have a great history with my teeth but I've never experienced anything like this before but my husband and I both felt it may be related. GUESS WHAT?!? It was!!! The same day hours later after being treated by Dr. Shah my ear pain subsided 95%!!! I didn't even need the pain meds given to me. I slept through the night and felt amazing! Keep in mind I didn't feel pain in my tooth, the infection "pain" was moving from my ear down my neck into my jaw. My nerves were all messed up and that's part of the reason I didn't feel pain on my tooth. The BEST part is, he was able to save my tooth! I thought it would be yanked out for sure, NOPE! Truly amazed and SO pleased with his care!!! I've been to A LOT of dentist and had some crazy experiences but Dr. Shah is thorough and cares about the person, not his wallet. I am so lucky to have met such an experienced dentist as Dr.Shah . I have been terrified to have my wisdom teeth pulled for over 15 years . I've cancelled five appointments because I felt they were not capable of doing a good job and being scared from all the bad cases I have seen . Dr. Shah immediately made me feel comfortable and confident in him . His state of the art equipment and his advanced knowledge about the nerves in the the mouth exceed what I have seen out here in the desert . He completed my surgery in 15 minutes , which takes most oral surgeons up to two hours sometimes . I had zero bruising and minimal swelling . We moved to Rancho Mirage from Los Angeles almost 2 years ago and had a very hard time finding a (Good) Dentist. I saw an ad on Facebook for Desert Dream Dentistry & Spa and decided to give them a call. We were right in the middle of Covid and we also were switching our insurance starting July 1st. I talked to Mallory (Spelling?) she was AMAZING. she helped me figure all my insurance out. The first visit my insurance was not correct and until it was figured out Dr. Shah gave me a complimentary exam and he came up with a plan for all the work that needed to be done on my teeth. Yesterday was the first of many appointments, I had 2 crowns put in and a tooth extracted. The Dr. and Staff were so terrific, they make you feel comfortable and relaxed. They sent me home with some pain killers and an antibiotic. I woke up today with no pain and didn't need the pain killers. I am so at ease and comfortable for my next visits.
