The hygienist and doctor were so nice! However the front desk lady was very very rude to me. She kept complaining about my insurance that over the phone she said she verified. When I got there she said she couldn't verify and complained that she had to call. Then kept telling the hygienists they couldn't take me back until she did it so they had me sitting there waiting for a while. Don't go here if you need a little extra time and attention! My husband has a bad case of Dr Phobia and had not been to the dentist in years -I convinced him to go to Dr Shaffa -( Dr Setos office partner) after much coaxing -I talked Dr Shaffa -Pearla his assistant and Gail at the front desk on several occasions explaining how scared he is of going to any doctor and asking them to please give him some extra attention so he would be comfortable and come back as he has a lot of work to be done . I finally got him to go to Dr Shaffa with understanding he would have gas to relax him during procedure. This man is deathly afraid of doctors and I told them all this on several occasions. Dr Shaffa barely spoke to him on the first visit and the others treated him like a regular patient. The second visit he was to have the gas with the work and it was outlined on his written quote. He fretted the entire day before the appt, hesitant to go -they called to confirm the gas the day before and he missed the call somehow ( the man is scared -irrational I know-but real ) I had told them before he came he must be sedated to have anything done as did he on his first visit in detail and it is written on his Treatment Plan. He confirmed his appt by text and showed up to be told that they gave his gas to someone else and he would have to RE-SCHEDULE-period you don't tell a patient that barely made the appt due to fear to come back ! Then they blamed it on him for missing the call . So if you need a little extra care this is NOT the place to go. Dr Shaffa is more interested in making sure he gets the money for gas than holding it for someone who is petrified and would only have treatment with sedation. They knew he was petrified and needed the gas -he confirmed his appt via text as requested and assumed he would get the treatment on his written plan -they were warned he was afraid SEVERAL times and the wife(me) was a regular patient for over a year-but they made NO EXTRA EFFORT ! no telling how long it will be before I convince him to go back to another Dentist -I called Dr Shaffa and he told me he did nothing wrong ! Thanks a lot Dr Shaffa and staff ! I will never get him back to the Dentist now ! So much for compassionate doctors ! Guess it is all about $$$$$$! read more

I first want say that Dr. Seto is amazing and he has great dental hygienist. The dental assistant girls are great. This is the reason why I gave them 4 stars. I did not want to give it 1 star because of the 2 receptionist. I did not want 2 bad apples to affect the Dental practice. The issue with this business is the 2 female receptionist at the front. I have never been treated so poorly and the women are nasty and have a bad attitude. They are borderline rude and I do not know how they have not been replaced. If you can get past the this you're going to be fine. It's just unfortunate that these are the 2 people that are representing the office right when you walk in I've been going to the dentist for decades and I have never ever experienced this poor Customer Service. At the end of the day we are their customer. Dentist are a dime a dozen out here in the Coachella Valley. Good Luck if you decide to pick this business. read more

So glad this dentist was referred to me a few years ago! You can't go wrong with referrals usually. Dr McGalliard is nice, communicative, and does a great job efficiently! This time I needed a surprise small repair & needed to be numbed first. I was in/out of his care in 15 minutes! 15 MINUTES! Lovely! No pain or anything, just a beautiful tooth again. Perla assisted the Doctor on my last visit. She was so nice, personable & assisted him well. For other visits, Nicole does a great job as a hygienist. She's always friendly & inquisitive. Everyone that I've encountered there over the past few years has been top notch. The office is well kept. It's not flashy & that's reflective in the reasonable dental fees. They don't try to sell any weird new tests. They offer what's been proven to work & provide good care. Also, while you get dental cleaning or work done, you can watch all the beautiful hummingbirds playing & drinking from the hummingbird feeders on each window. Definitely recommend! read more

Terrible. They make appointments for you without even telling you then try and charge you for it. Then cancel you as a patient. The worst dentist I have ever been to. Front desk lady is the type that has given up on life and just playing out the last few miserable years. The actual dentist is a below 100 IQ kinda guy who just likes jabbing people. Guy has no tact and not very good. Cavities he fills fall out, has No idea how to fill a cracked tooth. Not thorough at all. Lady who does cleanings is the one who keeps talking not listening to your feedback because she Is programmed like a robot to just spew nonsense. So annoying her voice hurt more than the needle. I dont have great memories of seeing the dentist which is why I have not been to the dentist in 38 years! Well, Dr. Seto and his wonderfully beautiful assistant, Karen, were just fantastic!! Karen was very kind to me and understanding. She helped me with the gagging reflex I had with Xrays which made all the difference. Dr. Seto was so gentl with the tools and exam that is was definitely NOT the painful experience I had as a child. Dr. Seto and Karen changed my thoughts about going to the dentist. I won't go anywhere else and would highly recommend anyone who needs to see a dentist to see Dr. Seto and make sure to get Karen ....together they made me walk out of there enjoying seeing the dentist!! Low key, friendly, busy office located off Fred Waring across from McCallum theatre & College of the Desert. Each time I have come here I bumped into somebody I haven't seen in a very long time who has been coming to Dr. Seto for just about forever. Tough to get in initially as their hygienists are booked months in advance but, if you get on the cancellation list and grab a slot - you are in! Compassionate staff that doesn't try to up-sell you on the latest money-maker. Laid back environment with hummingbird feeders just outside the window view. I was so fascinated just watching them buzzing around while I relaxed in my chair. read more

Got a my teeth cleaned, cavities filled and a crown put on. Everything was super smooth, I had an appointment and was sent back within 5 minutes. The workers at the front were super nice and checked my temperature. I went in not being able to eat and not I'm out and able to eat anything. So I hadn't been to the dentist in quite awhile and I knew I had some issues going on with some of my teeth, so I was pretty nervous to get work done. But I am now at ease having to go to the dentist. Dr Tom is awesome and is super gentle and he does really wonderful work. I needed a crown put on a molar and it came out perfect! I've had several fillings done as well and each time they've been pretty painless. His assistant Pearla is super nice, as is everyone in the office. Their slogan is "we cater to cowards" so search no more, because this is a dentist you no longer have to fear to go to!!! And they have hummingbird feeders suction cupped to the windows so that is reason alone to go to this dentist. Haha! read more

Dr Seto and his staff are first rate. The facility is clean and bright. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. I had two fillings first, no pain and fast. Two days later I had a wisdom tooth extraction. No pain at all. Never needed any pain medication at all. From my first visit with x-rays and evaluation to my last I never waited more then 5 minutes in the waiting room and the work was started right away. I can't say enough good.
