I recently bought a new build home and none of my Ethernet wall ports were working. I called Desert Frequency and Jacob answered the phone immediately. He said that he could definitely help with the issue I was having and was at my house within an hour. When Jacob got here, he diagnosed the issues that I was having with my home network and wiring, and got to work immediately. He found that the builders had terminated the ends of the Cat5 cable lines differently on each side and fixed that. He made sure that there was signal on each end of the Cat5 lines and when he ran into an issue with a line not working, he figured out a solution and was able to fix it. Jacob completely cleaned up the wiring with awesome cable management and installed my router with cables concealed in the wall. Before Jacob came to my house, nothing worked, and when he left, everything worked perfectly. Jake was awesome. Responded quickly (as opposed to others in the area who I attempted to use), and was able to squeeze me in the same day. He spent about 2 1/2 hours making sure that my newly paid for gigabit internet actually went to all of the ports in my home. Apparently the people I bought it from had installed a 10/100 switch, which was why everything topped out at 95 Mbps. He replaced the switch, cleaned up the horrific cabling job that was in the attic, and gave me several new faceplates for a better look and ease of access. So professional! Jacob came up to Wickenburg to help us overhaul a 15 year old system of electronics and in wall wiring and sound. We had a longer process with multiple phases. He was great with communication and he totally followed through on what he said he would do! If anything changed he always let us know immediately. Jacob did a great job helping us with some Sonos issues. He showed up on time was very polite, professional and knowledgeable. He even suggested a sub-woofer to enhance the sound quality as we are spending a lot of time streaming right now. And, boy are we glad we did! These guys are great.. I received same day service for a great price. I have been looking for someone to mount my 75" tv into my 1932 adobe wall. Most tv mounting companies won't touch it. We arranged to have Jacob come to my house and so we made sure we were home and move items so he could have easy access. I confirmed the appointment the day before. The day of the appointment, 30 minutes in he was not there. I called him, no response, so I left a message. So over the course of three hours I called three times and texted once. No reply. He never called back. A couple of days later I called from a different number. No answer, I didn't leave a message. But he called me back. He seemed surprised that I was the same person that he was a no show for. I asked what happened. He said, "My truck was stolen." We had originally worked with Best Buy and their Magnolia "home Theatre" specialists to install TVs, home theatre, wire speakers in the house, etc. What a nightmare that was: unprofessional, never could get the same person on the phone, they never followed up on my calls/emails, etc. Fortunately I came across Mechetner AV, and I am so happy we found Jake! HE has been completely professional, reliable, and worked closely with me to ensure the project came in on budget. Our situation was quite complex, as the house already had a fair amount of wiring and built in speakers from previous owners.
