They promptly evaluated the transmission and charged around $250 (refundable if I did the work there) for the diagnostic. Their recommendation was a rebuilt transmission. No problem. I shopped around and had it done for $1500 less than the All Cities quote. I didn't do an online aftermarket purchase. The business I went to installed a Chevrolet certified reman transmission with a 3 year warranty (same as All City) that was direct from Chevy.

They worked on my car on Saturday until their closing time. The problem was not something normal. Lithia looked at my truck, quoted me $3,000 then refused to communicate with me and basically ignored me while essentially holding my truck hostage for three weeks. I finally got fed up with them and called 360 Automotive to explain my situation. Mind you, I live in Spokane so I'm trying to figure out this remotely. I spoke with Robert around noon and he said he would have my truck towed from Lithia to his shop and take a look at it to let me know what needed to be done. I was expecting to hear from him in a couple of days but I got a call before EOD letting me know my truck was at their shop and they had already looked at it and had a diagnosis for me! Robert followed that up with a text link to pictures and video they had taken as well as an extremely thorough assessment. I was blown away. They also gave me two options of what they could fix and prices for both, and BOTH were less expensive than Lithia. My father was paying for the repairs so they reached out to him as well for authorization. Living in Spokane and not knowing anyone here to drive me back to Kennewick to pick up my truck I had to leave it there for about a month (sorry Robert!). Throughout this process they were nothing but extremely patient, professional, communicated clearly, were very honest and trustworthy as well as kind to me. Not to mention my truck is running like a dream! Even though I live a couple of hours away I'm pretty sure this will be my mechanic shop forever. They never secured the passenger side turbo charge pipe and it's all tore up like the tech had some anger issues with it. I parked the truck thinking I had other issues and just now got to poking around and found it. If there was less than one star I'd give them zero.
