They promptly evaluated the transmission and charged around $250 (refundable if I did the work there) for the diagnostic. Their recommendation was a rebuilt transmission. No problem. I shopped around and had it done for $1500 less than the All Cities quote. I didn't do an online aftermarket purchase. The business I went to installed a Chevrolet certified reman transmission with a 3 year warranty (same as All City) that was direct from Chevy.

I was not told about the fee until after they were done with my car. I told them I was not expecting this because I didn't ask for it & they didn't show any care or seem apologetic about it. Poor customer service & unethical business practices. I've been here multiple times, but will not be coming back. A $250 charge is a lot of money to not inform your customer of until after the fact.
