I have Wet MD which requires two injections every 4 to 5 weeks. Over 7 years I have had time to see the best and worst of this office. On their worst day my rating would be a 4.95. So my overall rating is 5.0. Every one of her staff is pleasant, professional and attentive. And Dr. H takes her time to answer my questions. I should also say that I'm not a "yes" easy patient. I ask questions, and if I don't understand, I say I don't understand and I get answers. Her office is great and she is great These are SOOO off base, I question who these "patients" are.

I called Dr. Harrison's office on a Monday and the receptionist told me to have my records faxed to them. I immediately contacted my doctors office and my records were sent the same day. After not hearing from Dr Harrison's office I called them back the following Thursday and was told Dr Harrison was doing surgery's that day. I assumed that meant that within the next several days my records would have been reviewed and I'd be receiving a call back to schedule an appointment. Here it is three weeks later and I still haven't gotten a call back! If they are too busy or for some reason can't see me I would at least expect the professional courtesy of a call back telling me that. I'm hesitant to call back because I'm sure I'll get a lame excuse as to why they haven't gotten back in touch. I decided to check out Coachella Valley Retina on Yelp and see that all the reviews give them a one star rating. The reviews I see on Yelp especially the one by Jeffrey C's is very similar to what I experienced. Based on my experience I too am only giving them one star but would give them no stars if that was an option.

I take a medication that has " floppy irises" as a side effect. He was able to adapt his procedure to account for that, and it went very well. A number of people have commented on how well they were treated and respected, not only by the doctor, but by his colleagues in the practice. I want to echo that. The resounding reply I got as a recommendation was Dr. Prendiville. Dr. Prendiville is the ultimate professional and did all the required testing before my surgery to know exactly what my needs were. He preformed the surgery at an appropriate time after testing and did a fantastic job. I would highly recommend him for his skills in cataract surgery and ultimately his professionalism and the great job for me. If you need the best cataract surgeon in the area, you've found him.

I cannot recommend Dr.Williams…read more Having experienced flashes of light, I called for an appointment and was told that the first available was 2 weeks later. So far OK. But when I arrived, his nurse did all the eye exam and took down the information. I then waited 45 minutes listening to Dr. Williams tell his nurse to cancel all his afternoon appointments and chat loudly in his office with a friend about baseball. When he finally called me in, he didn't actually physically examine my eyes further himself , but just told me that my symptoms were "normal" for people my age, and if my vision got dramatically worse I should come back. It rapidly got dramatically worse and when I called to try to make a follow-up appointment, I was again told that two weeks was the soonest I could be seen. When I explained that I was shortly leaving for a business trip to Bangladesh and hoped to be seen before that, his receptionist told me in a very snotty tone of voice that if I was "in such a big hurry" I should just go find another doctor, which I did. That doctor (Dr. Ketover at Milauskas Eye clinic) was able to see me the very next day, actually examined my eyes himself, AND took an O.C.T., which revealed an adhesion that was rapidly developing into a macular hole and referred me immediately to a retina specialist (Dr. Clement Chan) who has been treating me ever since and was able to prevent a macular hole from becoming a more serious detached retina, thereby avoiding surgery. Based in my experience, and comparing that with subsequent treatment received by other opthamologists, I would not recommend Dr Williams or his front office staff in terms of promptness, courtesy, availability, or due diligence with patients.

I told the tech I had been having vision problems and thought I might have and infection or something. He tested my eyes with their machines and told me I would be contacted in a couple of days. It's been a couple of days and my right eye is hurting me. I am really disappointed that my referral to an ophthalmologist was not by a real doctor, but by a tech. I definitely will make sure that the next referral by my primary is questioned and that the referral is to a doctor , not a tech standing in.
