The explanation literally only took about seven seconds before he cut me off to say, So what can I actually help you with today? with a sarcastic smile on his face. And I said, This is what you can help me with. I'm just giving a short little backstory. Mind you, there was no one in the store. He wasn't busy at all. And he proceeded to ask me what I needed help with and be super condescending and say he doesn't need a whole backstory, basically telling me to stop talking and, like, what do I need help with. And then I told him I've given a lot of money to them, and I feel like I deserve to be respected, and then he just wouldn't. And so I walked out, told him I'm no longer getting service from him, and he held up the weight and sarcastically said, Don't you want your weight for your little explanation? His name was James and I will no longer be going to Mountain View Tires which is disappointing because i've been going there for awhile. Will be going to american tires from now on. No customer deserves to be treated like that. I work in customer service and would never even think of talking to someone like that. Don't be in customer service if you can't handle it and can't be nice to people lol. and i got this picture of him from another review so clearly he is like this to many customers.

Mentioned I found him on Yelp, then made an appointment. No frills shop in Cat City near Rancho Mirage. Joe had me in & out in less than 10 minutes. Joe gave me a $5 Yelp discount, so it was $55 for smog check + certificate. Can't beat that. I paid nearly $70, 2 years ago at a different shop. I've been here a couple of times because of the location and somewhat reasonable prices…read more Unfortunately, my experiences have not been great, and yesterday was the last straw. I walked in around 12 PM for an oil change, and the manager at the front desk told me they wouldn't be able to get to my car until around 3 PM. I understand that a shop can be busy and that there may be a wait, but the way it was communicated made me feel like my business was an inconvenience. I've also noticed that there is very little customer service when you walk in. There's no real welcome or effort to make you feel like a valued customer. The manager often seems bothered when customers come in, and unfortunately, I've experienced this more than once. I left yesterday very unhappy. At this point, even though the location is convenient and the prices are somewhat reasonable, I won't be coming back. It's disappointing because good customer service would make a big difference.
