To be honest, I may or may not recommend depending on who's going to therapy. I'm sure it's the right type of therapy for some. For my son, just sitting and talking to the therapist was torture for him (social anxiety in talking to some unknown guy). I felt there had to be a better way to reach him. We went for a few sessions and I finally gave in to my son pleading to not have to go. Again, for some people it may be perfect.

After providing additional insurance information and payment details as requested, they sent intake paperwork for my daughter to complete. While she was actively filling out the forms herself, the practice abruptly terminated the process and accused me of completing the consent forms on her behalf, which was completely untrue. I explained that my daughter was personally completing the paperwork and that, since she is no longer in school, she does not have her own email account. I provided an alternate email she uses as well as her phone number. Despite having her direct phone number, the practice never attempted to contact her directly to verify any concerns. Instead, they refused to proceed and told her to contact them herself. What concerns me most is the lack of compassion and problem-solving from a mental health provider. People seeking therapy often need support navigating the initial process, and family members frequently assist with scheduling and paperwork. Rather than working collaboratively to verify information, this office chose to make assumptions and end communication. My experience left me feeling judged, dismissed, and disappointed. I would expect a mental health practice to approach situations like this with more professionalism, empathy, and willingness to communicate.

We had tried traditional 50-minute weekly couples therapy in the past, but it felt like we spent the first 20 minutes getting caught up and the last 10 wrapping up, without ever getting to the root of our issues. We needed real help, fast. We found Michelle Shahbazyan and booked an intensive couples coaching session (her extended deep-dive session). It was hands down the best investment we have ever made in our relationship. I had seen her for some personal work many years ago and was so glad to have connected with her again for this new issue. Instead of just sitting back and taking notes, Michelle is direct, empathetic, and extremely solution-focused. Having that uninterrupted block of time during the intensive allowed us to finally tear down the communication walls, stop the endless cycle of arguing, and figure out what was actually going wrong in our marriage. If you are searching for a marriage coach or relationship counselor who actually gives you real-life, actionable tools rather than just generic advice, call Michelle. She completely shifted our perspective and gave us a clear path forward. We left our session feeling lighter, reconnected, and hopeful for the first time in years. Highly recommend her to any couple needing a true breakthrough!

I contacted Michelle and she said that my wife is very guarded about her issues and the likelihood is that she doesn't want to work on herself. Michelle was correct. In hindsight I regret we agreed to such a long initial session. I think we should have limited our initial session to an hour or two. It could have flushed out my wife's lack of willingness and commitment to counseling and saved us an enormous amount of money with no positive result.

My son C was recently admitted to this facility, and overall the experience was very positive…read more Everyone I interacted with was kind, helpful, and supportive. His nurses -- Kim, Cynthia, and Rosa -- were wonderful whenever I called. My son even mentioned that Rosa has a "super cool accent," and that Reggie and another staff member "the other big guy" were down-to-earth and very chill, which made him feel comfortable. Tori and Stephanie were also extremely attentive. They always got back to me promptly and never made me feel rushed, which means a lot when your child is in a place like this. Because of the team as a whole, my son left feeling better, and I'm grateful for that. However, I did have one disappointing experience at discharge. The woman at the front desk wearing black scrubs and a LEFT carpal-tunnel wrist brace openly questioned why there was a 4 PM discharge. As a medical provider myself, I cannot simply abandon my own patients to pick up my son earlier, nor should I be expected to. Her comments were unnecessary, unprofessional, and frankly, not within her role. The only thing required of her in that moment was to request my ID and page his nurse. Instead, her demeanor, body language, and tone created an uncomfortable and disrespectful interaction at a time when emotions are already high for any parent. When your child is admitted to a facility like this, you carry a tremendous amount of stress, fear, and guilt -- and the front-desk staff should be sensitive to that, not add to it. Front-desk employees are often the face of an entire facility. Unfortunately, the behavior I witnessed last night did not reflect the professionalism or compassion shown by the rest of the staff. Overall, I am thankful for the care my son received and the team members who truly made a difference. I hope management addresses the issue at the front desk so future families don't have to experience the same unnecessary stress.

When I read about the no BS method of coaching Francis offered I knew it would be our best bet. When booking, you purchase 4 sessions in full making you commit to the program. It was $444 for 4 sessions when we booked. Francis heard our concerns, gave us things to do between sessions, and we saw drastic improvement in our relationship between each session. I was skeptical of whether or not coaching would even work for us with the point we were at, but we have both been thoroughly pleased and satisfied with our sessions and the progress made. Francis has a podcast where he discusses his methods as well. He taught us the 35% anger rule, telling each other we are committed each day, making small term, medium term, and long term goals, and being spontaneous occasionally when on dates, doubling down. Definitely recommend Francis.
