The caregivers always have a smile and a warm greeting. They're consistently present, attentive, very kind and patient with the residents. I love how they always jump in to dance and encourage the residents to participate - it's makes for a great time for me and all in attendance. The residents are always neat & clean, and the place is spotless! They receive beautifully displayed snacks during happy hour. Honestly, I can't say enough good things, It's genuinely one of my favorite places to perform and I look forward to it every time. If I ever needed a place for a family member, I would not hesitate to choose Silverado Red Rock.

Knowing that Las Vegas doesn't always have the best reputation in healthcare, I was nervous about finding a place that would truly care for my aging parents. From my very first tour of Silverado Red Rock, I was impressed--and even more thrilled when I saw there were dogs living on the premises. The time my parents spent at Silverado was truly a gift. I've wanted to leave a review for a long time, but when you're still working, visiting often, and carrying so much on your plate, it can take a while to find the right moment. Both of my parents recently passed and now I can reflect back and say without hesitation that choosing Silverado Red Rock was one of the best decisions I could have made for them and me. The staff treat every resident with dignity, respect, and genuine love. My experience was that you are treated like family here. Most often you'll be greeted by Bob, the dog, wagging his tail at the front door. What impressed me most was how everyone--from management to front desk, kitchen, laundry, physical therapy staff and maintenance--interacted with the residents daily. No one was "just doing a job." Silverado brings real life and joy into the community with endless activities: cooking foods from around the world, live music, Sunday services, spa days, exercise groups, themed luncheons, nightly movies, and field trips around town. The staff actively engages with each resident and honor them exactly where they are in life. One time while visiting I learned to play Lotería with the residents while sipping "mock" margaritas. Was it 100% perfect every single moment? Of course not. But for my parents, it was absolutely the perfect place. They were safe, celebrated, and deeply cared for. Both of my parents have since passed, yet I still stop by to say hello--because that's how much the people here became part of my life too. I'll always be grateful for the love, dignity, and family Silverado gave to my mom and dad. And if you want to know more, here's why I would give Silverado a solid five stars: Dignity: Residents eat in the dining room with real plates, silverware, and glasses. Whenever possible, people are taken out of their wheelchairs to sit at the table. Daily care--from bathing to dressing--is done with gentleness and respect. Even when memory is faltering, residents are still engaged in meaningful ways, whether helping cook or simply being asked about their lives. Respect: Residents are kept active and involved. I was nervous my mom might end up sitting idly in front of an iPad, but instead she was busy and engaged every single day. Staff brought joy to sing-alongs, styled women's hair for themed luncheons, gathered residents for the Super Bowl, and made sure no one was left out. Genuine Love: I witnessed staff hugging residents, complimenting them, and making them feel special. I saw kitchen staff go out of their way to just say how beautiful someone's hair looked. I saw front desk staff walking with residents to their rooms, or stopping to ask how their day was. Those small acts of love and kindness happened all the time. If you're searching for a place where your loved one will not only be cared for, but truly loved and respected, Silverado Red Rock is it.

Melissa runs a fantastic facility, the whole team is welcoming and kind, definitely my kind of people! Markie was not approachable, tried to introduce her as a 3 year residents daughter one time, she couldn't be bothered and was quite rude. this past year we experienced my mom falling and waiting for 20 minutes for a caregiver to help her, housekeepers serving food due to the shortage of servers, staff members complaining about management to residents, I could go on and on My sister reached out after a 500.00 rent increase per month with no explanation other than cost of living (??!!!) to Kris Waluszko asking questions and expressing concerns. Weeks after original email we got no resolve, no reason for rent increase but now she was in a "premium room" Again no explanation Markie is recruiting new residents with multiple issues so higher rent can be charged, targeting wealthy communities in Summerlin. Hospice residents, causing caregivers to be overworked. My mom's caregiver of almost 4 years yelled at her one day because she was in a hurry. Totally unacceptable. We've moved our mother to a more nurturing, caring facility . Our next step is to contact the state ombudsman. Please shop wisely when placing your loved ones in assisted living. Atria Seville is cold and uncaring. Just ask their staff

Our mom was first a resident in Assisted Living and then after a couple years needed to transfer to the Memory Care side. Throughout all the years we have been involved with the Management Teams and Staff, we have never had a bad experience or a concern that was not dealt with in a very timely manner. The care, compassion, kindness, and friendship we experienced was consistently very good. While mom declined, the staff continued to giver her great care and attention. Our experience with how our mom and family were cared for demonstrated over and over that caregiving is a path for people with great compassion and concern for the well-being of the residents. They were friends and we saw how much it mattered to them that we were given attentive care - especially when mom passed away. It was evident they felt her loss as well. This also includes the wonderful Hospice staff that were a part of her journey as well. Very impressed with everyone.

Since my mom moved in last summer, I have been nothing short of amazed by the level of dedication and compassion the staff demonstrates every day. From the moment we arrived, it felt like family. The team members genuinely care about the well-being of each resident, and it shows in their interactions with my mom. They go above and beyond to ensure she feels comfortable, safe, and engaged, which has made a world of difference for her quality of life. The facility itself is welcoming and designed with the needs of residents in mind. My mom has been encouraged to participate in various activities tailored to her interests, which has helped her maintain a sense of joy and purpose. Communication has also been excellent. The staff keeps me informed about her progress and any concerns they may have, ensuring I feel involved in her care. They take the time to listen to my questions and always provide thoughtful responses, which eases my worries. Overall, the warmth and professionalism at Avamere at Cheyenne have reassured me that my mom is in the best possible hands. I couldn't be more grateful for the care she receives and the genuine connections we've built with the staff. If you're looking for a place that treats residents like family, this is it. Believe me, I am there all the time, see everything, and am always in their face about something (especially the first 8 months). I have never felt like my concerns have been dismissed! While assisted living is never perfect, you do have to watch over your family, they do an excellent job of making sure everyone is cared for. I have noticed now that the facility has filled up, they have hired more staff which is great (that is why the prices increased this Feb 2025) because you want more staff. My parents say their don't like the food but they are picky. I have personally tasted the food and it is good. I do believe they could have more healthier versions vs fried foods, plus change the standard menu more often, but I am not sure if the majority of the residents want that? It is restaurant style (special dishes everyday are offered during lunch/dinner) but residents can go down and eat anytime between 7-7p. The bus, which is free, for booking medical appointments is M/W/F between 9-2p and they do outings to stores on Tuesdays plus casino trips on Thursdays. Do I think they should have more outings for the residents?....yes! One time they took them to Bellagio to see the atrium but there hasn't been anything really since. My parents loved this trip. My parents are fortunate to have my husband and i live close by so I signed them up and book them on the RTC Para-transit bus to nails, hair, doctor apptointments, restaurants, casino trips so they get out a lot. They are 91 and 93 years old! I like they keep the facility very clean. There was a bit of a problem with the alert necklaces but I have been assured they are testing 3x daily and making sure the system is up to date and working. I cannot say enough about how wonderful all the staff at Avamere at Cheyenne are to my parents. Its a very hard job and I give kudos to them all.
