The caregivers always have a smile and a warm greeting. They're consistently present, attentive, very kind and patient with the residents. I love how they always jump in to dance and encourage the residents to participate - it's makes for a great time for me and all in attendance. The residents are always neat & clean, and the place is spotless! They receive beautifully displayed snacks during happy hour. Honestly, I can't say enough good things, It's genuinely one of my favorite places to perform and I look forward to it every time. If I ever needed a place for a family member, I would not hesitate to choose Silverado Red Rock.

Knowing that Las Vegas doesn't always have the best reputation in healthcare, I was nervous about finding a place that would truly care for my aging parents. From my very first tour of Silverado Red Rock, I was impressed--and even more thrilled when I saw there were dogs living on the premises. The time my parents spent at Silverado was truly a gift. I've wanted to leave a review for a long time, but when you're still working, visiting often, and carrying so much on your plate, it can take a while to find the right moment. Both of my parents recently passed and now I can reflect back and say without hesitation that choosing Silverado Red Rock was one of the best decisions I could have made for them and me. The staff treat every resident with dignity, respect, and genuine love. My experience was that you are treated like family here. Most often you'll be greeted by Bob, the dog, wagging his tail at the front door. What impressed me most was how everyone--from management to front desk, kitchen, laundry, physical therapy staff and maintenance--interacted with the residents daily. No one was "just doing a job." Silverado brings real life and joy into the community with endless activities: cooking foods from around the world, live music, Sunday services, spa days, exercise groups, themed luncheons, nightly movies, and field trips around town. The staff actively engages with each resident and honor them exactly where they are in life. One time while visiting I learned to play Lotería with the residents while sipping "mock" margaritas. Was it 100% perfect every single moment? Of course not. But for my parents, it was absolutely the perfect place. They were safe, celebrated, and deeply cared for. Both of my parents have since passed, yet I still stop by to say hello--because that's how much the people here became part of my life too. I'll always be grateful for the love, dignity, and family Silverado gave to my mom and dad. And if you want to know more, here's why I would give Silverado a solid five stars: Dignity: Residents eat in the dining room with real plates, silverware, and glasses. Whenever possible, people are taken out of their wheelchairs to sit at the table. Daily care--from bathing to dressing--is done with gentleness and respect. Even when memory is faltering, residents are still engaged in meaningful ways, whether helping cook or simply being asked about their lives. Respect: Residents are kept active and involved. I was nervous my mom might end up sitting idly in front of an iPad, but instead she was busy and engaged every single day. Staff brought joy to sing-alongs, styled women's hair for themed luncheons, gathered residents for the Super Bowl, and made sure no one was left out. Genuine Love: I witnessed staff hugging residents, complimenting them, and making them feel special. I saw kitchen staff go out of their way to just say how beautiful someone's hair looked. I saw front desk staff walking with residents to their rooms, or stopping to ask how their day was. Those small acts of love and kindness happened all the time. If you're searching for a place where your loved one will not only be cared for, but truly loved and respected, Silverado Red Rock is it.

Markie was not approachable, tried to introduce her as a 3 year residents daughter one time, she couldn't be bothered and was quite rude. this past year we experienced my mom falling and waiting for 20 minutes for a caregiver to help her, housekeepers serving food due to the shortage of servers, staff members complaining about management to residents, I could go on and on My sister reached out after a 500.00 rent increase per month with no explanation other than cost of living (??!!!) to Kris Waluszko asking questions and expressing concerns. Weeks after original email we got no resolve, no reason for rent increase but now she was in a "premium room" Again no explanation Markie is recruiting new residents with multiple issues so higher rent can be charged, targeting wealthy communities in Summerlin. Hospice residents, causing caregivers to be overworked. My mom's caregiver of almost 4 years yelled at her one day because she was in a hurry. Totally unacceptable. We've moved our mother to a more nurturing, caring facility . Our next step is to contact the state ombudsman. Please shop wisely when placing your loved ones in assisted living. There are no words to express the gratitude I have for the care provided to my father by the TLC…read morefamily. Prior to TLC my father was in at least three "memory care units" where lots of promises were made regarding the patient-centered care that would be provided and the expertise of handling any difficult behavioral problems that come with the progression of Alzheimer's. As a nurse practitioner, I thought I had done my due diligence with researching the facilities. I was wrong. With the covid shut down in March 2020, many of the facilities housing elderly took advantage of the fact that families could no longer check on loved ones physically and a lot of negligence occurred. My father was moved three times during this time as I tried to find the best care. What did Tender Loving Care provide that these other facilities did not? 1. As with any patient with dementia, moving them to a new facility can be very difficult. The transition can cause them to progress in dementia and not recover. It can increase behavioral disturbances during the adjustment period. My father was already having issues with agitation when needing to have his brief changed/bathing so the staff already had their hands full when he came over. Dr. McGivney and Kerri were amazing and worked very closely with me to make changes to his medication regimen to reduce the behavioral disturbances to allow the staff to care for my father. Once he was stable, the doctor would reassess with the goal of reducing medications as needed depending on dad's response. There is not one facility out there that I know that would spend this individualized attention with a patient. The staff is watching the resident daily and reporting back to Kerri and Dr. McGivney on medication response. 2. The staff truly got to know my father and what he liked. When they asked for the list of things he liked they actually used that information to learn how to get him to engage with the community. I would come in to visit and he would be in his "office" writing for work. He would be at the desk reading the newspaper while the staff was also sitting with him engaged with activities. Staff found out he liked to organize and clean, they would have him helping them and encouraging him, meeting him at his level . These were the biggest differences between TLC and other institutions. My father felt safe, happy, and content here. 3. The amazing backyard/courtyard for the residents. Lots of natural light inside the house. Previous facilities promised he could freely walk outside in the locked outdoor courtyard yet at each facility I would find out from my father they were all locked and a loud alarm would go off thus my Dad not wanting to go out. He loved being outside and this was the reason I had chosen those facilities !! At TLC, it was truly open and unlocked so residents could freely go outside in the backyard. This is so critical especially with the COVID shutdown that residents can get fresh air and sunshine. 4. Maintain all the COVID precautions. 5. I could go on and on with all the little things the staff did to let me know how much they cared for my father but there isn't enough space here. Thank you TLC for everything

Being able to add her favorite Coukoo clock to the room and provide her favorite snacks was just an addendum to the level of care she received. The owner, Myrna has done an excellent job of leveraging what is clearly an impressive professional career in nursing as I observed a level of care with my mother that I had not seen in the months she had spent in a top rated facility. I have the team of care givers at Happy Adult Care II to thank for the final month with mom having moments of laughter and quite visitations filled with love. Bernadette "Bernie" became her constant companion throughout her time there and Zeny her world class chef if you hear her talk about the catfish. I can't thank you enough for making her favorite foods! She had missed good food and you brought all of that back for her in her final month of life. Tong, I know you worked hard to get her TV channels right - I saw your handiwork at each visit, even if you were off duty. And Beth, I know we seldom crossed paths because of your shift but I cannot tell you how much I appreciate you and the full team of care givers keeping watch over my mom throughout her last month on this side of heaven. Myrna - you have been a wonderful care giver, your text messages, video chats and photos were such a blessing to our entire family. I pray you add to your impact on this precious demographic of our society by opening more homes and leading as compassionately has you have this one. You are a blessing! Thank you.
