A Solid Spot for Your Street Food Cravings : This is a decent place that definitely lives up to its name, if you are craving Pav Bhaji, this is exactly where you want to be. The Food: I have to give the Pav Bhaji a solid 5 stars. They have all the options you could want to try out (like the Amul Pav Bhaji), and it hits the spot perfectly. The bhaji comes out generously topped with shredded cheese, accompanied by perfectly toasted, buttery pav, fresh diced onions, and a lime wedge. They also offer the "more" part of their namesake, which includes street food staples like Vada Pav, loaded Paneer and Veg Sandwiches (served with a great green chutney and a side of chips), and chaat. The Dahi Puri (listed as S.P.D.P.) looks great and comes beautifully topped with yogurt, sev, and fresh pomegranate seeds. You can also wash everything down with some authentic Amruttulya chai or a refreshing glass of chaas. The interior is casual, clean, and has plenty of seating, making it a great spot for a quick bite. However, true to its name, the menu doesn't stretch much further beyond these specific street food staples. If you are looking for an expansive, full-course menu, you won't find it here. Overall: 5 stars for the Pav Bhaji, but giving it a solid 4 stars overall for the rest of the items and the limited menu scope. Definitely worth a stop when that specific craving hits!

Solid spot for a quick pav bhaji snack. Looks like a renovated Pizza Hut - the interiors were clean/new and they also have a nice outdoor space for warmer nights. Some of the non-pav snacks also sounded interesting so we'll be back to try more next time

This place is exactly across from PAMF on El Camino (near San Tomas Expressway). Small and cute. Inside is cute and refreshing - effort has been put into the interior. Food we ordered: 1) Dilkush Dabeli: amazing I loved it 2) Pav Bhaji: good, Bhaji needs less butter and less purée-ing 3) paneer sandwich (I forgot the name): heavy. Lays chips: I'm not a big fan, Green chutney served along side was watery and not something I would eat. Service: the guys were fast, kind and sincere. Since I loved my dilkush dabeli I'll be coming back again (and that's why I gave it 5 stars)

One time visit for us. The sandwich was okay. The dabeli was good but too oily. The amul pao Bhaji was good. The spicy one was good too. The tea already had sugar which we don't like. We have a similar place in Fremont. Tad bit better. So yeah. We won't travel especially far this place

This review is for the Santa Clara location. First impression was - wow! I love the interiors. Their food vibe is very Mumbai local cafe types and the interiors are on point, giving a vibe of modern clean eatery with tasteful colors and furniture! Loved the service too.. it was fast! Talking of the menu- they have all the basic necessary mumbai food items - pav bhaji, vada pav, sandwich, etc. They have 2 jain items on the menu currently.. pav bhaji and veg grilled sandwich. Both tasted great!! Their mango lassi was awesome.. no artificial colors or flavors, no added water.. just pure yogurt and milk magic. Highly recommend this place if you are craving tangy savory and soul filling food!!

For a celebration dinner, we wanted a taste of Mumbai street food so we went here on a weeknight around 8:15 pm. You order at the counter, pay, and they bring the food to your table. We ordered a bunch of different items to try. Pav bhaji Sev puri dahi puri SPDP Dabeli Dadar vada pav Mango lassi Our favorite was the vada pav, it tasted the most authentic and the crunchy "sev" was a nice touch. The pav bhaji, while tasty, didn't have that authentic taste. The masala pav was a great addition though. Thankfully none of the food was unnecessarily spicy which happens often in some restaurants and overpowers the actual taste of the food. The mango lassi was a great addition to balance the spices in the meal. Ambiance is nice but I felt rushed because they literally started packing up the restaurant, dimming the lights etc while we were still eating, cutting our meal short. We ended up requesting containers to take our meal home.

Small menu but big flavors! They have a couple of food trucks, and this is their first restaurant. I wish them the best. The paneer sandwich and pav bhaji were delicious. Interesting building, if my memory serves me right...this used to be a Long John Silvers. Remember them?

I really enjoyed the pav bhaji here! The bhaji itself comes out piping hot and full of flavor. thick in texture and I loved that it was very potato-forward. The amul butter was a great touch. Ordering is easy at the counter and the seating area is very clean. Good for groups. To share, we also got the SPDP (aka dahi puri). This was delicious! No notes. Loved the pomegranate!

Came here on a Sunday afternoon. Food here is great. The "pavs" are soft, absorbent, and gleaming like a brioche roll, a perfect pairing with the sauce/soup you dip it in or spread it on. I'd definitely recommend getting some extra pavs with your order if you're feeling hungry! I got the mild one with a side of cheese that made it all the more rich and delicious. Place is really clean inside and lots of space to sit down. Service was good, fast casual service at a counter and you go pick it up when it's ready.

    Amul Pav Bhaji

Let's first talk about the food: - vada pav: great taste, but the vada is not the right size... - dabeli: pretty good flavor. - pav bhaji: way too much garam masala. The pav was great; but the bhaji really ruined the experience. Restaurant: nice, clean restaurant. Service: quick, given that we were the only customers there. Overall rating: 4/5 The pav bhaji was the biggest let down on the table.

Great eatery place that started with food truck and now in multiple locations across the Bay Area. First time tried to go from this restaurant - dilkush dabeli and pav bhaji (with extra pav) and both were yum - very close to the delicious food from Mumbai ! Glad they have limited menu and hope they maintain the quality and service! Highly recommended!

Pav Bhaji and more opened up their first dine in restaurant in Santa Clara. The place is small but the vibe is biiiiiiig!! I love how cozy and warm the ambiance is fo an Indian restaurant. I also love all the dishes we ordered. Although my fav were dahi puri and the paneer grilled sandwich. I'd love to bring my non-Indian friends here due to tasty food and cozy ambiance... Staff was also super friendly

Misal Pav & Vada Misal - Absolutely loved the Misal! Authentic flavor, perfect spice level, and so hearty. I especially appreciated that it wasn't just sprouted moong--there was moong, matki, yellow peas, black-eyed peas, and green peas. A true protein-packed bowl. Two thumbs up Vada Pav - Another hit! We devoured it Sabudana Vada - Crispy outside, soft inside, and just the right size. Didn't care much for the chutney though. Sabudana Khichdi - This one didn't work for me; it leaned a bit too sweet. Ukadiche Modak & Puranpoli - The stars of the meal! Highly recommend both. The modak was soft, pillowy, and melt-in-your-mouth with a great dough-to-filling balance. The Puranpoli was super soft, ultra-thin dough, and perfectly flavored stuffing--excellent in both taste and quantity Sol Kadhi - Just okay for me; not something I'd return specifically for. Kokam Sharbat - Loved it! Overall, a wonderful spot for authentic Maharashtrian flavors with warm, welcoming staff. I'd definitely come back!

So I was hoping for some amazing food from here. I haven't seen many Maharashtrian restaurants, so was very excited. Here is all I ordered: - Kothimbir Vadi: this is absolutely delicious. The flavor and seasoning is top notch. Loved it. - Sabudana Vada: we make this often at home and is one of my favorite Maharashtrian dishes. This was not bad. A bit bland for my liking. But was fried well and I loved the crispness. - Sabudana Khichdi: this was not good. I make this at home and what was sent to me was not cooked properly. Most of the grains were not cooked, and was too bland. - Bhakri: this was awful. No taste. No flavor. It was this white roti that was sent. Not at all like the Bhakri I've eaten in Maharashtra. - Puranpoli: I was super excited to try this as I absolutely love Puranpoli. But this didn't hit the mark. It was ok. Needed to be sweeter. There are many other things in the menu and I would love to try next time I'm in the area.

I ordered the egg biryani, butter chicken, and their friday curry flight that came with the choice of 3 curries, a salad, raita, and naan. The biryani was super flavorful and not dry, and the egg paired with it well. All the curries were spicy and delicious, honestly not much more to say about it. I will say their raita is not my favorite, its just thick plain yogurt. I ordered online and I had to wait a little when I got there but that was okay. The interior is also spacious will lots of seating.

Local Pakistani artwork adorning the walls. Delicious grilled meat smells wafting around as well. ***FOOD: we got chicken 65, naan and samosa chaat sans yogurt. *chicken 65-3/5- this was almost beetroot red in color. In my naivety I hoped it was some natural food color using beetroot. But I later learnt from them that it was not. It left me appalled at the liberal use of such toxic artificial colors. Colors aside, the chicken itself was delicious. But I will make sure to ask them beforehand next time and order something that doesn't have colors. *naan-5/5- this was amazing. Hot from the tandoor. It wasn't charred at the bottom. It was light and large. It was clear that it was made by someone who knew their craft. I will come back here just for the naan. *samosa chaat-3/5- this made me sick, I had an upset tummy for a few days after. It was hot day so I m assuming they had problems with their chutney or maybe it was the samosa with the potato filling. Upset tummy aside, the chaat flavors were decent, not the best of the lot but decent nonetheless.

First off, the delivery was a smooth process, dot on time and packaged with such precision. Ankush, who runs the show at Delhicacies came to do the honors and as well left detailed instruction on how to go about preparing one of the starter dishes that we had ordered (Bhalle Papdi chaat that is). The menu we chose included Bhalle Paapdi Chaat, Cocktail Samosas, Paneer Tikka Masala, Chana Masala, Baingan Bharta, accompanied by Roomali Roti and Lacchay Pyaaz as a side salad. The Bhalle Paapdi Chaat was an instant crowd-pleaser, with the perfect balance of crispy papdi, fresh bhalle, cool sweet yogurt, tangy tamarind along with green sauces, a secret masala powder and a garnish of beetroot , pomegranate and cilantro. All of these were packed separately and instructions were provided (step by step) to prepare the end result which tasted out of the world good. It was refreshing yet packed with flavors that kept everyone asking for seconds. The Cocktail Samosas were golden, crisp, and filled with a spiced potato mixture that made them an ideal finger food--perfectly bite-sized and not greasy at all. For the main course, the Paneer Tikka Masala (PTM) stole the show with its rich, velvety sauce that coated the tender paneer in just the right amount of spice. The flavors were balanced yet bold, making it a standout dish. The earthy flavor in the paneer made it finger licking good and definitely was the biggest hit of the evening. The Chana Masala had the perfect texture--soft chickpeas simmered in a well-spiced gravy that had just the right amount of heat and tang. Cubes of paneer in there definitely made it a good overall combination and complemented with the PTM. The smoky and flavorful Baingan Bharta added an earthy depth to the meal as well. The eggplant was roasted beautifully, bringing out its natural flavors, which paired wonderfully with the Romali Roti. The roti was soft, thin, and warm, making it the ideal vehicle to soak up the gravies. We did end up heating the rotis in our microwave oven for about 10-15 seconds in batches and they remained perfect in their texture and taste. The Lacchay Pyaaz--freshly sliced onions with a sprinkle of masala--added a crunchy, refreshing bite to balance the richness of the other dishes. Overall, Delhicacies delivered an out of the world authentic North Indian culinary experience with each dish tasting as though it was prepared with care and precision. The food was flavorful, perfectly spiced, and served fresh. Our guests were impressed, and we couldn't have been happier with the quality of food and service of delivery. If you're looking for reliable and delicious Indian catering, Delhicacies should be at the top of your list! Give them a chance and thank me later. You are welcome!!!

The first time we went was for lunch. It was busy but they had a few tables open. We had no idea what to order then and just went with what we saw others eating. It all tasted great then and we loved it. It was very authentic as we were the only non-Indians dining. On this recent visit, it was a Friday evening so parking was very limited and there was a wait. There's a waitlist you can join when you arrive, and it wasn't too bad with our party of 7. Again, we really didn't know what to order beyond the dosas. We did look up a few and asked the server as well. But we were pretty much going in blind again. On this visit, I did notice that someone would go around with refills on the chutneys and what not. So this time we knew to ask for a little more of this and that. My favorites were the coconut peanut one and the ginger one. The restrooms are accessible outside the restaurant, which is a bit of a pain. And there is signage everywhere to monitor your car as break-ins happen often, so that's not the most comforting. I would be amazing if they could offer a separate menu with a few explanations of what everything is.
