    Who Dat Shrimp

Everything that touched the table was very good. This is my favorite restaurant in LA. Cant wait to get back here. The service is always exceptional, and never too loud.

Our friends took us here while we were visiting. It was nice, the inside decor was very bougie eclectic. I liked the veuve fountain, it was cute. I truly felt, however, with the menu/price, atmosphere, etc they had a vision of being an upscale fine dining style steakhouse and unfortunately in my opinion they dropped the ball with some of the service and execution of food. We had a party of 7, had reservations of course, were sat at our table. The hostess passed out the menus. For the females at our table with all the purses and handbags, I was a little surprised they didn't have purse stools they bring to tables, when I asked, the hostess was like "we don't have those." The menu has great options, price point for steaks were a little high for that area and for the ounces in my opinion. They definitely should have the ounces listed next to the steaks. I absolutely love that they offered a kids menu with great options. Our waiter was an overall nice gentleman, unsure if he was new to waiting tables, he had issues multi tasking and we had to wait forever it felt to put in our entrees. I honestly liked the young blonde girl the best, not sure if she was a waitress or just a food runner, but she always seemed to be around when our table needed anything and she even scraped our table of crumbs. Again our waiter nice, he got all our drink orders, put in our appetizers, everything came out quickly, then we didn't see him for awhile, then we ordered more drinks and were ready to order entrees and he politely said give me one minute, and we had to wait longer. Half our table was really hangry and we were ready to order. He comes back we order our entrees and by then the place got busier and so the entrees took longer. So to sum that up, my stars were affected by the service. If you're trying to be a luxury dining place (as advertised on the website) then the service needs to be up to par. You need purse stools, waitstaff should be attentive, take away dirty plates, use the crumb tool between appetizers/entrees/dessert. You expect an experience especially at that price point. But on to the food... overall 7/10. Some things were delicious and others were decent. The crabmeat au gratin was just okay, nothing to write home about, the crostinis served with it were nice. The seared pork belly was really nice, the flavor profile on that was great and everything with taste and texture went well together. The who dat shrimp was good but there was just too much going on, they needed to just keep it simple. All the drinks we had were great, so cuddos to the bartender. We did have two kids with us and one ordered the chicken tenders and the other the filet. Tenders were just normal tenders and fries. The kids filet was a great addition to the menu because my youngest loves filets. However, when on a kids menu I would expect them not to coat the whole thing with pepper. I was unaware that the kids one came with all that pepper, I scraped as much of it off as I could, but my youngest was not happy. I ended up taking her filet and she took my shrimp. The potatoes served with the kids filet were delicious. I ordered the petite filet MR with gulf shrimp, my husband ordered a filet, we also got a side of brussels and the potato au gratin. Our friends got a ribeye, filet, and chicken parmesan, Everyone's steaks were cooked to correct temperatures. I wasn't a fan of all the pepper crusted on and neither was my husband; they could've went a tad lighter on the pepper; but overall the steak was good. Definitely have had better for less. Our friends weren't impressed with the ribeye. The chicken Parmesan got a good review. The sides were good, but again nothing to write home about. Nothing truly wowed me, my favorite thing was the pork belly appetizer and my drinks. Maybe I went on an off night, but I wasn't super impressed. I definitely do not mind spending money on food, when it's amazing.

Our first time visiting this location and we loved it! Carson, our waiter, was very informative & personable. The entire staff was attentive. The food was great, as always. The manager even allowed me to go in a secluded area to breastfeed rather than leaving out the restaurant. Appreciated that so much. We'll be back!

I decided to take my husband out for a date night on a whim and I'm glad so that we came here! From the moment we walked in, the hostess had greeted us and brought us to our seats where the dining room was filled with the aroma of fresh food all around us. It is certainly hard to decide on what to eat because so many of the menu items were tempting but I can assure you that if you go that you won't be disappointed.

The best steak I ever had! Their Mac and cheese with crawfish, their buttery garlic smashed potatoes! I want to celebrate my next birthday at this place. Our server, I think his name was Carson, was awesome. We celebrated my father in law birthday at this place. It was great!

We celebrated my daughter's 21st birthday and everything was great. We started with the who dat shrimp appetizer and it was excellent! We all had filets and they were cooked to perfection. For dessert we ordered the celebration dessert which consisted of cotton candy (the best), ice cream in a cinnamon shell and huge piece of cake. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was because our drinks from the bar were a little off - but not enough to ruin our evening. We will definitely be back! I highly recommend.

Not worth the price. Steak was not seasoned well but was cooked perfectly. It took us two hours to get our appetizers. Shrimp appetizer was nothing special. Turtle soup could have been warmer. Need better cocktail menu next time ill stick with champagne. Overall very disappointing

We arrived on a Friday night without reservations and waited about 30-40 minutes for a table. First, we got a drink by the bar and stood around. Then when seats opened up at the bar, we sat there and ordered two appetizers. Before ordering, I asked one of the bartenders if something was gluten free and she came back with a sheet of paper labeled GLUTEN listing about 25-30 things that were gluten free such as dressings, jambalaya, and egg rolls (which we found out later they are NOT gluten free). I have a picture but I won't share it so that no one is deceived. A few minutes after ordering, we were buzzed that we had moved up the waiting list and to check in. My husband checked in and came to tell me to go to the hostess stand because they are ready to seat us. He went to let the bartender know to send our two appetizers to our table. When I got to the hostess stand, the hostess said that we already had been seated and to just walk upstairs. Even after I explained we had not gotten seated yet because my husband had just checked in, she instructed my party to simply head upstairs and just turn right. We walked upstairs and found a table we assumed we should sit ate. Then when my husband arrived, he went to look for menus because we didn't have any. Ava came by to greet us as our two appetizers of Sauteed Crab Claws and Boudin Egg Rolls arrived. Ava was really friendly and personable. I was so happy the sheet had indicated they are gluten free. I ate half an egg roll and started to suspect it was not gluten free. I flagged down Ava and asked and she said she was pretty sure they were not gluten free. Ava came back to apologize that the egg rolls had been changed and were no longer gluten free, and then are gave me an updated "2026 Gluten-Free Allergy Menu" with a subheader "All items listed are SAFE for you to eat." The egg rolls were no longer listed. For my entree, I ordered the Charbroiled Catfish served over spinach. It came with a salad and apparently a side. I thought my spinach was the side so I didn't ask about my side options and Ava didn't ask me what I wanted as a side. I had a side mixed green salad with no croutons. Surprisingly, everyone's side mixed green salad looked different when they arrived. Mine had croutons. Another had cheese on their mixed greens while another person was served iceberg lettuce. It was very strange. My catfish arrived with French Fries which are not gluten free. I flagged down another waitress who had checked in on us earlier to explain that I wasn't offered a side and that I couldn't eat the French Fries. I asked for cooked veggies and she brought me cauliflower. I thoroughly enjoyed my catfish and cauliflower. Others are the table had the Seafood Lasagna, Seafood Pasta, Charbroiled Oysters, and Crawfish Etouffee. Everyone liked their dishes. The portions are really big. The meal would've been much better if they were better trained on how to handle food allergies. And what the hostess did was not customer friendly at all. We learned from the second server that Ava was in training. Ava did a good job as she was really friendly, attentive, and seemed to genuinely care. I don't think she understood what a gluten allergy was but she followed up when asked to check on the egg rolls.
