This is one of my Family's favorites. We came at the end of the lunch hour. Service was fast and efficient. Each meal we ordered was fresh and delicious! We had the Gumbo, Chef Salad, Corn Chowder, The daily special Which was fish with etouffee, po'boys, and a Mufaletta. Love the eclectic decor. Take the Lacombe exit off the interstate and come give this place a try! Our Family will be back!

Crab Cakes! So good with the Shrimp Creme Sauce!

The food is always so good here! And they have great service, everyone was so warm and welcoming. I Always get the Steak Diane! It comes in a brown wine sauce, and is topped with mushrooms and fried onions. Medium Rare! So good! My wife usually gets the Pane Chicken with Fettuccine, or the Trout Meniere with Crab Meat on top. Their salads are chilled and their house Ranch is great. They usually serve oyster crackers before. We liked the Crab Cakes, but I prefer their Calamari Appetizer. Never had a bad dish! Check this place out!

It was okay. Had a ribeye and it was very thin. Maybe will try something else next time.

Great food, great staff. Very cozy atmosphere. The gumbo and the meatballs and spaghetti are my favorites!

Great atmosphere. I had the fried catfish which was delicious. I love that it's lightly breaded and full of flavor.

I eat at Janie Browns several times a month and the food is always delicious. I think they have some of the best seafood on the North Shore.

Waitstaff was inattentive and the food was mediocre. The place is carpeted so it smelled musty in the dining area.

It was very crowded and we had to wait a little bit longer than our reservation time but that was okay because we sat at the bar and enjoyed some drinks before our dinner. The bartender was great and very friendly. We ordered some Alfredo and stuffed Artichoke wow. We went to Rome two years ago and at at Alfredo's that claim to be the birth place of Alfredo sauce and we loved it. This was just as good. The noodles were delicious and fresh the sauce was very good too. The wife loved her artichoke. For our meal I had the Braciole first time ever and it was fantastic my wife had the veal lasagna and she loved it. The house salads were amazing flavor and we finished with ice cream with amaretto and cool whip and bourbon pecan pie with ice cream. So much food left over. A true Italian restaurant. Atmosphere was loud and friendly and everyone having a great time visiting and enjoying themselves over a great meal . The way it was meant to be. If you are looking for that quiet romantic atmosphere this is not it. If family and great food is what you want then this is a must go to place. The cashier ask me, "what would you like?" as well as, "how are you?". I tell her Im good and asked how she was doing. I get to ordering. This older worker walked up to the cashier while I am ordering and starts laughing in my face. I have no clue who or what he was laughing at. He had the rest of his teeth showing very unhygienic and intensely yellow-brown. I am genuinely concerned for this citizen that deals with hot grease on the regular. He might have fried his teeth in an accident. I'm not quite sure. Im concerned, this man might have dropped his teeth in the fryer. Following this I walk to a table for 2 by the window to wait for my order. The table was intensely sticky. Keep in mind there is a Brazilian wax parlor across the street. I see a male worker walking out the kitchen to a customers table out from the kitchen. The entire 20ft walk he is big eyed tryinf to look into Brazilian wax across the street. It seems as if they have already had complaints of creeping because of the double sided mirror front windows. I assume. The food itself was okay . I would definitely recommend Kenny's seafood in Slidell before pearls any day. Don't recommend. You will get a face full of hot maybe if contaminated breath. Enter cautiously and be safe . P.s. gave me bubble guts BAD!
