They come and measure the kitchen layout, and at the end, the installation is quick and professional. I've got my countertop installed ahead of schedule. Worst countertop job ever. Filed a complaint with the attorney general and the BBB. This guy didn't measure the faucet properly and it doesn't fit. He didn't caulk the underneath and shims are hanging out and are visible. They chipped the marble and glued a piece back on the corner of the island and it is clearly visible. Seams are the worst visible seams possible. Not sure how this guy is still in business. Said he would come back to fix it and now won't return calls. Terrible!!! Charged 7,400$ and got crap that we have to rip out and start over. read more

Was suppose to do some follow up after I paid him. Never heard from again. Calls and texts went with no response.

I made the mistake of contacting Design Granite & Marble before looking at pictures of their poor workmanship and reading complaints to the Better Business Bureau about their business practices. Those reasons alone are enough not to engage in business with them. My suggestion is to RUN FROM THIS COMPANY. I looked at reviews after having an exchange of atypical communications with this business that made me uneasy: 1. I was informed that they only accept cash and that they do NOT ACCEPT any payment by CREDIT CARD. This is a HUGE RED FLAG to me because there would be very little recourse to get my money back if there was a problem. And reviews clearly represent that there have been significant problems with the workmanship and professionalism of this company. 2. Further they requested a 50% cash payment BEFORE beginning the work or even coming to measure. 3. When I explained that I did yet not have my new sink, they still wanted to 'measure'. When I mentioned that other installers I interviewed had informed me that it would be necessary to take my new sink to ensure the cutout was precise and accurate, the reply I received from this company was "measurements are fine ...you will need to handle getting me measurements for sink..I am only making one trip" 4. The aforementioned business practices of not taking precise measurements might explain the poor quality of this company's work, noted in several pictures. At that point, I knew it was not in my best interest to work with this company. Quartz countertops are a significant investment and professionalism and excellent workmanship demonstrated by the installer is critical and, in my opinion, this company fails in both areas. read more

I can't say enough good about my great experience with Constanin! From our first contact, he listened and zeroed in on the best solution for quartz counters in two bathrooms. He had lower priced options available (remnants) and genuinely wanted me to save money--not the usual upsell! He sent pictures of the two he thought were best. I wasn't sure so he came downtown and brought samples, including one I wanted to see that he said I wouldn't like, and he was totally right! Scheduled the work, arrived on time, worked clean, perfectly installed, and an unbelievably good price! I just wish I'd found him two years earlier when I did the kitchen. The people who did that charged 5x as much per sq ft, because they claimed that the extra cost of 3cm vs 2cm was 50% more. Not Constantin, he gave honest numbers, said the additional cost was nominal--and it was! I'd give 10 stars if I could! read more

I e-mailed DGM asking for an appointment and Constantin replied the next day. His showroom is less than two miles from us. My wife and I met with him and he was extremely patient and knowledgeable. He showed us several samples explained the differences and did not try to lead us into a decision. We decided on a quartz kitchen countertop with a full bullnose edge and a four inch backsplash. That was Saturday, he came out on Tuesday as requested, field measured said he'd be able to install the next week (I was somewhat skeptical) and low and behold he called and had it installed as said, the following Tuesday. Look elsewhere, but go to DGM for the best service and price. We did our research and we're glad we picked Constantin at DGM, couldn't be happier! read more

Constantin and his crew did an outstanding job replacing our kitchen counter. First we used the website to identify several possible candidate granites from the lines he carries. Then we created a rough drawing of the countertop and visited the showroom to look at samples of the granite we had liked on the website. We were assisted in choosing one and the job was estimated. I made a deposit and Constantin visited my home to do exact measurements. The installation was scheduled for one week later and went smoothly: old laminate was removed and new granite installed, including a backsplash. I asked the company to return because initially I thought I didn't want a backsplash inside the appliance garage but later changed my mind. They returned and installed it without complaint at no extra charge. I was thrilled with the selection, the gentle and knowledgeable service in estimating and measuring from Constantin, and the beautiful job of installation done by Constantin and his team. I especially appreciated the follow-up correction after I changed my mind. The whole process was reasonably priced and the logistics were way easier than I thought they would be.
