A little late on this review but wanted to mention that I was gifted a holiday arrangement from an out-of-state sender. I'm not certain what led the sender to this local florist, and I had not heard of Guzzardo's before then. It was a Saturday a couple of weeks before Christmas, I had been at a show most of the day and didn't get home until later afternoon/early evening. The person texting mentioned he/she had a flower arrangement. While the intention was good, it might have been better for him/her to specify a company affiliation, given that phone and internet scams are all too prevalent these days. It took me a few to finally put the pieces together, going through my mental rolodex to identify the sender, so I felt comfortable texting the delivery person back. I kind of got the impression that the delivery driver was stressed or having difficulty finding my place, as it was radio silence after an initial, rapid-fire text exchange, and the ETA for delivery kept changing. To make it easier, I had gone to my lobby to await delivery, thinking the driver would be there at any moment. I ended up with the front desk professionals at my building taking delivery of the greenery and pinecone arrangement and notifying me when it at last arrived, so that I could pick it up. Adding one star for the fact that there was not a ton of packaging to dispose of, and the fact that the arrangement did not start shedding needles right away. read more

Their delivery person was nice but what I received is NOT anything close to what I ordered and it looks like something I could have stuck together myself - lots of green stuff, cheap carnations and a few already-wilting roses stuck in a white pumpkin vase. For reference I ordered the Sunny Fall Pumpkin arrangement and I got the sad other thing. If you call them they do NOT answer their phone and their voice mail isn't accepting messages. I received a beautiful arrangement from DBG. I wasn't home when I received a text from their delivery driver, which I initially thought was a scam because I wasn't expecting a delivery. So, I looked up their phone # in Yelp and called to confirm that it was legit. My husband said the lady who delivered it was super nice and the floral arrangement was BEAUTIFUL! The sender (not my husband, lol) totally surprised me but the flowers contained my favorite colors, purple and pink - love them. I received a bouquet of fall blooms last week for Sweetest Day. Loved the arrangement, different blooms with a fall motif. Now it's a week later and they haven't even aged. The closed lilies have now opened giving the bouquet a new look. The roses aren't even dead yet, still fresh looking. They are STILL beautiful. Highly recommended 5 stars! read more

Received a vased arrangement for my birthday from friend. Lots of confusion as to whether flowers were delivered bc friends received an email confirmation that they were delivered, but when she contacted me, they were not delivered. Lots of back and forth with From You Flowers. When eventually received, they were shoddily arranged & were mostly the same height. Looked like someone just stuck them in a vase. Two days later they were wilting. While no control of the florist that was used, it's crazy that they used a florist from 10 miles away. Also, when I used the QR code on the tag to review, their website shows they have 4.5 stars out of 1,425 reviews. Very interesting considering they have three different profiles on Yelp that all give terrible reviews: 2.1, 1.9 & 1.5. And a general Google search shows Facebook reviews of 2.7 out of 21 reviews. How this place is still in business I have no idea. Friend called them directly to tell them about the flowers wilting and looking nothing like what she ordered thru From You Flowers. Person explained they only get a description & do their best but the flowers shouldn't be wilting & will send out a replacement the next day. Great, right? Nope. They were sitting in a glass vase on my stoop out in the 40 degree weather - no plastic or cover, no flower packet. I was stunned. They never emailed or called my friend to let them know they were being delivered. Plus, there was half the amount of flowers as the previous arrangement. Mostly carnations. Started dying the next day and the few roses in the arrangement are dead. Same with the original arrangement. It blows my mind that this place is in business with all the consistently terrible reviews. I want to know how google has 4.5 stars but yelp and Facebook's combined average is less than two stars - all those reviews are within the last couple of weeks and months. I ordered an all purple bouquet through Proflowers to be delivered to my home so I could bring it to a Mother's Day party this weekend. The cost was around $67 after a $17 discount. What I received was a mostly pink, slightly wilted bouquet with some of the leaves having holes in them. Proflowers responded to my complaint with an $11 refund, along with an apology from the florist. The delivery was made at 6:15 am with someone banging on my door, then leaving the vase of flowers on my porch with no packaging at all. I'm very unhappy with the bouquet, the way the delivery was handled and with the lack of replacement. I would not recommend this florist. read more

The flowers delivered were nothing like what I ordered, flowers weren't even the same colour, some flowers droopy and some almost dead, flowers looked like they had been an arranged by a toddler. I did report and send photos to FTD and they said they would refund. My order was $97 and not worth that. I could have gone to any jewelry store and spent anout $25 and arranged themself and they would have looked much better. Placed orders through TWO DIFFERENT online services (1-800-flowers.com and Teleflora). One bouquet went to my mother-in-law, one to my sister-in-law. My mother-in-law "said" hers were "beautiful" when she called to thank us. My sister-in-law though, refused her delivery. We never got a phone call from her and when we called her to confirm that she received her flowers (even though we got delivery confirmation from the florist) she told us the bouquet was brown, wilted.... practically dead. And when she refused and asked for a new bouquet? The redelivery was even worse! When she was telling her mom about it, come to find out it was this same florist! My mother-in-law told her she hadn't wanted to hurt my feelings but, the flowers were old, wilted, had dried out greenery and "looked like they had been arranged by a five year old". (This is coming from a lady who used to work in a floral shop). I had already contacted 1-800-flowers.com about the horrible experience with my sister-in-law's bouquet (nearly $100 by the way, although I had a promo code for $20 off). The agents with 1-800-flowers.com were excellent to work with. Gave us a full refund, even called my sister-in-law and apologized. The posted photos are of SECOND bouquet delivered to her after the disasterous original delivery (My mother-in-law is 86. Didn't take photos and didn't want to "hurt your feelings" so I'm just finding out about her bouquet a week later AFTER she and her daughter realized it was the same florist!) I was delivered a small bouquet that was missing Gerber daisies, only had 2 lilies which were very weak and lost some petals within an hour of delivery,, 2 Peruvian lilies (little pale pink flowers) with one barely having any flowers and the other extremely weak and wilting. 3 pink and 3 red roses, with one pink rose having brown on petals like it's old. When i received my flowers i sent a picture to my sister and she was shocked because it wasn't what she paid for. She sent me the order information on the website and i will attach the picture what was supposed to be sent to me. The bouquet i got would probably cost $30 at a flower shop. My friend got me store bought roses for a lot cheaper and they look so much more healthy and beautiful than this pitiful bouquet from DESIGNS BY GUZZARDO's. I left a voicemail on Friday immediately after getting the flowers because it was closed. I provided them with the order number and the issue and how disappointing it was to make this call on my birthday. My sister called them as well and someone answered the phone and as my sister was explaining the issue, the person hung up on her. Saturday i was out enjoying my birthday celebration and didn't have time to call and get upset but no one called me back from my Friday voicemail. I will call them on Monday and demand a refund. They can come and pick these sad flowers back to the shop as 1 and half day later, the pink roses are wilting and one of them is falling over. These are not fresh flowers. They look worse than Walgreens flowers that sit by the entrance of the store. If a refund will not be given, they will be reported to 1800 flowers and so on. Reading reviews from others, i see many ppl complaining of same thing. And the flowers shop resends them flowers a few days later. No thanks! an hour ago NEW We had flowers delivered on 2/1. We happened to be out running errands that day, so no one was home. The delivery person decided it was a brilliant idea to leave the flowers outside in freezing temperatures. Of course, when we got home, the flowers were wilted and dead. I contacted this shop via text message, and the person set up a new arrangement for me to be delivered the next day ( which I was happy about). The same delivery person arrived the next day, 2/2. She also asked for the original bouquet /vase back. I guess they are short vases inventory as well. I'm so happy I did not throw the dead flowers away. The flower arrangement we received this second time was half the size of the original bouquet, and so much fewer flowers, and the vase was half the size of the original arrangement. I contacted this flower shop immediately to see why the bouquet arrangement did not seem to be of the same value or size. The response I got was they ran out of the same flowers and assured me this replacement was of the same value and size. But you can tell it was not by simply LOOKING AT THE ARRANGEMENT ITSELF. See the photo for reference. I know I did not pay for these flowers, but it saddens me that someone else met for me to have these flowers to show support, and I couldn't even enjoy them because they were wilted and dead. It's the principle of the whole thing. You do not send replacement flowers that are not comparable in size or value. It's like paying for one thing and receiving something completely different. The first picture shows the deluxe version of the arrangement I chose which I upgraded to premium so the arrangement should've been bigger than the first picture. The second arrangement is what I actually received. Not only was it a much cheaper bouquet but it was also poorly crafted in a vase that was much too big for the cheap arrangement. My aunt sent a bouquet of flowers as a surprise. The employee that delivered the flowers had no uniform identifying himself as a floral delivery person. He repeatedly knocked and rang the door bell for 5 minutes. I did not want to answer since I was not expecting a delivery and it was a strange man in regular clothes. He left for a few minutes to then park his car in my driveway and come back up to the door and knock and ring my door bell. He then went a step further and began pulling at my screen door and knocking on the windows to my house for another 5 minutes. I finally received a call from my family saying that flowers were being delivered. I am very upset with the excessive and disturbing behavior of the delivery person. This company is not a traditional flower shop. I ordered flowers from a website that claimed to be a mom and pop establishment in a town west of where this flower "business" resides. This was a terrible experience for the person I gifted the flowers for. They were delivered with the invoice, no card attached, no paper wrap or even a bow on the vase! They were supposed to be a beautiful bouquet of roses, upwards of a couple dozen plus flower filler, but they were old roses, less than a dozen and they even included a stem WITHOUT THE HEAD. It was totally embarrassing to me that my expensive floral gift arrived looking like TRASH. Do your research and don't reply on these types of BS businesses for anything quality. There was NO DESIGN to this either. A blind 2 year old would have done a better job! read more

I've used this location for holiday flowers many times. Always had great experiences and when we needed flowers sent for business and again for funeral I thought it would be a great idea. Well, it wasn't really. Flowers for business associate birthday. Sent flowers super far yet the flower arrangement was a tab bit small and unimpressive. Friend was happy but I figure because she is too polite to say they were not much to look at. It's fine. Flowers for my uncles funeral. We ordered a wreath and it was like a bad joke. It was tiny and looked like it was for a miniature display. My dad was embarrassed and I had to apologize to him that it cost him over $100 and it was cheaper looking than the $50 bouquet. Folks are super nice. I won't stop coming here but I will be very specific as to what I want and will definitely be complaining if it's not to my liking. My son ordered flowers for me for Valentines Day. They didn't arrive on Valentine's Day (I was at work) and my son didn't receive a confirmation email, call or text. So on Thursday, the 15th he called them and they told him they were so overwhelmed with orders and deliveries they thought he wanted them for the following Monday. Feb 19th. He told them no, they were suppose to deliver on the 14th. So he had to cancel that order and re order again. On Friday, Feb. 16th, my flowers came. First I will say that the water was freezing cold. 2nd, when I went to put in fresh water, the stems were all slimy, so I trimmed them. 1 day later they were droopy. 2 days later I had to throw them out because they were dying. Don't do business with this place. Read the reviews on YELP and many others had the same experience that I had. I don't want a replacement, I want my son to be reimbursed for the money he spent.
