Website sucks. I got to the end of the order and there was one of those "Type these letters and numbers," the ones that we cannot ever make out. I typed them in 3 or 4 times and am not sure if my order went through or not, or if it was multiple orders. Now, I am going to watch my email for the next few hours to see if I get email that I placed an order or orders. If I don't get an email I will look for another vendor. Lost business because of a crappy website. It shouldn't happen. read more

I wasn't happy with the arrangement I got. It had old, dry brittle plants in it and it wasn't happy looking. The high point of the arrangement is supposed to be in the center, in this arrangement is wasn't. The center roses were pushed down and other flowers were outside of it and higher, hiding the roses. I switched florists a few years ago to Phillips when I saw a men's corsage from Phillips that had a magnetized holder rather than the pins we have always struggled with - and that the florist i was going to didn't have that option. That simple reason opened my eyes to a great floral shop. Although they've been around a long time and don't have a trendy website, I have found their arrangements edgy, creative and unique. Phillip's in Elmhurst created my daughter's wedding flowers and I couldn't be happier with the results! Gina was a complete Wonder Woman who not only brought in gorgeous arrangements and bouquets but also solved several dilemmas that morning as well as acting as wedding planner/coordinator at the church! She ran back and forth between the church and parish hall to help with all sorts of last minute details; she also did last minute sewing, corsage arrangement, and even stayed with my daughter and I before we walked down the aisle, adjusting the dress and train! As for the flowers--the bouquets were absolutely gorgeous and Gina worked with us on our special requests for bouquets in five different colors. She also painted gift boxes for our table arrangements at the reception to reflect those colors. Completely gorgeous and the arrangements stayed fresh and beautiful throughout the holidays (our wedding was on December 17th). We decided on Phillip's when we first met Gina--she was so friendly and we had complete confidence in her from our first meeting. She totally went out of her way to make our special day a great success! I highly recommend Phillip's for all of your floral needs--you will be very happy! I used Phillips for my wedding and I was very impressed. I had originally booked a different florist and I was very unhappy with her, but Trish made it all better. She did a great job with my bouquet as well as the bridesmaids bouquets. Two days before the wedding I realized I had told her I didn't need to have a bouquet made to throw at the bouquet toss... but I had completely forgotten to make one.
