I read all of the reviews for Niles Flowers & Gifts and decided to order flowers anyway and I'm so glad I did! I like to support local businesses whenever I can. I wanted to send a "thinking of you" bouquet to my sister and I fell in love with the Playfully Pink bouquet, standard size. It even has a cute "loved" ceramic heart on the vase! I ordered online at 10:15 this morning asking for same day delivery. The process couldn't have been any easier. My sister had already received them and called to say thank you by 2:30 (she received them within 4 hours of me ordering!) The bouquet had even more roses than expected! I recently ordered flowers for the wake of a dear friend. I ordered an arrangement that included a place for a framed photo. The arrangement was beautiful and we got many compliments on it. DO NOT SHOP FROM HERE! HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! My husband had ordered some flowers to be delivered to me on December 13 for our anniversary. He had placed the order on December 6. About an hour after he placed the order, the flowers were delivered to my office. I must say I was extremely surprised to receive a bouquet of flowers on such a random day of the week, only to read the card and for it to say "delivery date: 12/13/18". The flowers were delivered a week early! I told my husband about his gift coming in a week early and he understandably was not happy that my anniversary surprise had been ruined. He called Niles Flowers and informed them of their mistake. They had offered to send another bouquet free of charge on our anniversary, but he stated there was no point in that because the surprise had already been ruined. He requested his money back and they gave him a refund. Okay, great, right? So here is where it gets worse: The next day I came into work and the receptionist comes up to me and tells me that someone from Niles Flowers came back to the office, demanding the flowers back!! I had left work early because my infant daughter was sick, so I wasnt there when they came back for the flowers. And when the receptionist informed them I was out sick, the employees response was "oh yeah...sick", as if she didnt believe I had really left! Multiple of my coworkers had heard this exchange and told me about it as well. Not only is this place extremely unorganized and unprofessional, they had the audacity to question my whereabouts when I was at home with my sick infant daughter. They embarrassed me by coming into my workplace to demand back flowers that were a gift from my husband for our anniversary. This is the worst experience my husband and I have ever had with any business. I cannot comprehend who would do something like this! If you are looking to purchase flowers for your loved ones, I highly suggest looking at other establishments to do so. This was such a horrible experience with this company. read more

We had three arrangements made for our dear friend's funeral service. They did a beautiful job with all three, one standing spray and two regular arrangements. They were delivered fresh and on time and they were very communicative with us through the ordering process. I suggest ordering directly through them. Teleflora was a nightmare to deal with and all they do is create a layer of miscommunication and potential problems. I would use this florist again. read more

Extremely not satisficed with my bouquet, when we discuss the order a big beautiful flowers were used as an example, but final result is very different from what I expected, the roses are below average and even in Costco you can find better looking flowers under $20 for two dozens. I paid $285 for three dozens and the got small cheerless set of flowers. read more

Being out of town, ordered arrangement for mother's funeral. Arrangement never made it to the wake/visitation or service. Extremely embarrassing to find out delivered but wilted and falling apart, funeral home had to place out of sight. Email and call to shop went unanswered. Support a different shop, this place isn't worthy. read more

We received a bouquet of flowers from my husband's parents on the anniversary of our daughter's passing. It was a beautiful bouquet with purple and white flowers, her "colors". We unfortunately were not home when they were delivered and they froze in the cold - but I called the florist the next day to tell them what had happened and they were so kind. They immediately sent a new bouquet to our house when we were home. It looks gorgeous. FANTASTIC customer service. We will definitely purchase from them in the future! read more

Ordered a large easeled arrangement (expensive!) for a wake/funeral and was very displeased with the results. We asked for the words "Beloved horakuyr" (It is in Armenian) to be written on the ribbon and it came out written as "Beloved horak ʻ uyr". The &#699 part was hand written in sharpie while the other letters were professionally printed. Needless to say, we did not write this on the request and I have the order confirmation to prove so. This is obviously a coding translation issue from their website that turned the apostrophe into a code. I am shocked that the florist did not realize that this was not something we wanted printed on a ribbon, nor did they try to reach out via telephone or email to confirm something so seemingly strange. VERY embarrassing to have this show up to a funeral home. We will NOT be ordering from them again. I wouldn't recommend using them for delivery orders that you cannot confirm are correct before paying for them. Need flowers for funerals? Call Niles Flower. Need flowers for a wedding? Head the other way. While my experience was by no means bad, I would not purchase my wedding flowers here. The consultant was very friendly but it seemed like I was leading the conversation, not her. She was a bit hard to understand, but as I said before, very friendly. This just isn't the place for weddings....too pricey and the staff is not confident enough to make me want to buy from here. The bridal bouquet alone would be $180 - no packages to choose from, eveyrthing is a la carte and as a la carte usually is, it's expensive. Bridesmaid bouquets are approximately $50 each and the arrangements are in the hundreds. If i needed flowers for a funeral, valentines day or whatever, I'd go here in a heartbeat. I've used Niles Flowers & Gifts a number of times - sadly for funeral arrangements for my dad, stepdad, a relative and recently for my mom. Each time they have done an outstanding job. As you walk in the shop you may get the wrong idea because it looks rather small - but that's deceiving. 5 weeks ago, I walked in with a photo of a large funeral spray arrangement made up of roses, lillies and babies breath. I had seen it online with another florist who couldn't guarantee they would have the flowers or deliver on time. When I showed Jennifer the photo she indicated she could have the same arrangement made up & delivered on time - and she did. Not only was it exactly the same beautiful arrangement delivered on time - but it cost $125 less than the quote I received from the other online flower vendor. Recently, I placed and order for a mixed carnation casket spray for my mom's wake. Jennifer suggested a corresponding end piece (which I hadn't heard of before). I placed the order for both the spray & end piece. I am glad I did; the flowers looked absolutely beautiful. Jennifer always comes through. She's great at guiding your selection and so very reasonable price-wise. Over the years, I've used Niles Flowers and they never once disappointed me. Ordered flowers for my Uncle's service last week-paid around $125 for a sunflower arrangement. With delivery and tax it was close to $150. My Mom was at the service, and was embarrassed - sunflowers were drooping! My cousin and another relative both made comments about the arrangement. When I was contacted today by Ashley of Niles Florist-she was pretty rude. She asked if I had pictures of the arrangement. Could she send another arrangement to a family member-why would I want this after the service? Told me that since I placed the order online through the funeral home that I would need to contact them if I am looking for some sort of refund. Very disappointed. read more

Ordered from Niles Flowers a few times, it was OK. Last time I gave them a price range to hit, and they added tax and delivery to the top of my range. When I called to ask what happened, the owner told me I made a mistake in the way I ordered. Methinks not. Plus, flowers were not exactly "fresh". I'm looking for a new florist. read more

Ordered a boutineer with a hint of color on a rose, was told by the store to choose the color when picking up. Nothing was ready, or even started when we went to pick up. The clerk showed us a rose that was yellowed and not fresh, she couldn't be bothered to discuss or show any attention to even wanting the business. We left with nothing... customer service does not bloom there...don't waste your time. read more

This shop did an amazing job on the funeral flowers for my mother. On very short notice, they produced three large arrangements which included all the flowers we had requested and were very artfully and tastefully done. They more than exceeded my expectations. The prices also seemed in line with what we received. I only wish we could have kept the flowers, but on the suggestion of the funeral home, we donated them to a nearby church, and that made me happy. read more
