Me and my wife came to this dentist and she told him what she needed, and after it was done, it was a very bad job done, she have To go to another dentist who correct it and fix it in a great way, however my work was already almost done and cannot cancel it but my experience with my dentures was worse than her, he try to correct and fix over and over to not avail but he couldn't or didn't know how to do it, then he gave me an analogy of the "your feet have to get used to a new shoes, he didn't know I was salesperson for over 30 years I answered that I felt like when you put your big feet in a way smaller number shoe.. Very bad experience. Won't recommend it. Will give it "1 star. read more

I do not recommend this dentist. He said my son had a deep cavity and needed a crown. He said he was putting in a temporary filling which we found out was just some white stuff he put on top of his tooth. It fell right off. We went to Dental 365 and fount out it he just had a small cavity. They fixed it immediately. DO NOT GO THERE. Dr. Shah is A LIAR. Says you have cavities but you don't. That's why people say they didn't feel any pain BECAUSE HE DIDN'T DO ANYTHING. TOTAL RIP OFF. One more thing, their technology is SO outdated, X-rays maching was falling apart. Just so you know they take x-ray pictures now, ones you can see clearly what's going on, not back n white negatives. read more

Dr. Shah is, by far, the best dentist I've ever been to. I first saw him a few months ago, and it turned out I had a ridiculous number of cavities. He reassured me that he could take care of them in about 5-6 visits. And I now have zero cavities. The whole process was smooth and painless, and I'm really happy with the work that was done. This doctor is in my territory and accepts my insurance. Bonus x2 A kind, gentle, personable dentist who has a modern day office that is clean, and very up to date. The feel of a Manhattan practice in a little plaza in Hicksville. I've come for emergency appointments and accommodated same day. Have come for routine, 6 month check ups and always a pleasure. Sara at the front desk is excellent with the patients. The dental assistant (name escapes me) is also extremely friendly and personable. They've just taken on a new hygienist who is also very gentle and makes a cleaning seem like the best thing you could've done that day. I go out of my zip code to come here, but well worth it. Did a decent job and my teeth felt clean. The problem arose when I suddenly had an infected tooth that i was in great pain for. I called and said it was an emergency but they told me there was no time to take me....I went in anyway because I was in terrible pain and was supposed to be going away the next day so I wanted some relief. The dentist literally looked at me for two seconds and said "it doesn't look infected just take Tylenol". I was not able to go on my trip due to severe pain from the tooth. When I went back the following Tuesday(saw him on a Friday) suddenly my tooth was infected and I was prescribed anti bionics and extra strength moltrin. Now why wasn't I prescribed this originally? Good question I could have went on my trip and not be in unbearable pain for four days but the dentist is completely incompetent. They told me I needed a root canal but they couldn't do it because it was too hard. Gave me a referral that didn't even take my insurance so now I'm back to square one still in pain. Avoid at all costs this place is a cash and grab that tries to get all money they can out of your insurance while giving you the minimal care they can. Also they had to take x rays multiple times exposes me to excess radiation because the person couldn't get a good shot. Don't believe the reviews they're all biased due to the electric tooth brush reward. Truly wish I could just find a good dentist. Healthcare in this country is pathetic read more

this doctor has given me so much trouble. Was always switching my appointments even 6-8 times. He made me wait forever till I got called in just do work on my tooth and once I got in the room I had to wait another hour. He then took my cash money and when he didn't treat me right and didn't correctly solve my issue (for my tooth) he refused to give my money back and said don't come here anymore to my whole family. Dr. Viral Shah is absolutely the best. I've been going to him for over a year. He has a great sense of your dental well-being. I normally would hate being at the dentist but its a pleasure visiting his office. Dr. Shah is very dedicated, kind and paid attention to each individual issue I've had and treated them appropriately. Its a shame people leave 1 star reviews over insurance issues. It doesn't do justice to the professionalism and care Dr. Shah puts into his job. He has approached every issue I've had with great care and advised me on the right procedures to perform so my teeth stay healthy on the long run. We need more doctors like this in our country. I came to this place a little less than 2 years ago after my husband went and was very satisfied. Dr Viral Shah and his staff are very nice and professional and the office is very clean. The person at the desk is very knowledgeable and efficient. They are flexible an accommodating in scheduling an appointment and they are open on Saturday which is very convenient. Dr Shah is very good, he explains everything before and while he is doing it. He is always happy to answer questions and is very careful about pain management. This dentist is horrible! I walk in and they literally have me waiting for over an hour because the dentist was delayed with another patient. I was given no warning and I went up to the dental receptionist and asked her several times how long the wait will be and she kept saying just a few more minutes. Then finally after more than an hour the dentist came out and asked if I could reschedule. Why couldn't they have told me before I wasted so much of my time? Don't look at the good reviews he is horrible and he is the only dentist there and they always overbook. They are just in it for the money. He told me that even though my appointment was an emergency appointment I will still have to reschedule. I didn't reschedule and they called multiple times basically begging. Every time I went he came up with a new issue! How can my tooth need a root canal when it was fine a week ago? Never go to them they are horrible! read more

Went there for first visit with my son who has autism. I was so worried about the whole ordeal. The office was not much to look at from the outside but beautiful and very clean on the inside. The girls were very sweet and helpful. Dr Shah was awesome. Took time to explain things and very patient with my son. He filled 2 cavities today. I was very happy that my son was treated with respect and truly taken care of. I will be going back for sure. My hats off to this office...truly a cut above all the other dentists I've veen to. I've been coming to Dr. Shah since I moved to the area and he really is the best dentist I've been to. He's super friendly and so is his staff. The office is very clean and modern (even has a tv by every operation chair)! Appointments are very flexible. They are open late some days and open on Saturdays as well.
