If I could give six stars, I would. I had been looking for a pre-2006 Honda Element in good condition for quite some time, without much luck. Anyone who has looked for these knows they go for well over KBB on account of their scarcity vs popularity. When my current vehicle gave up the ghost in the middle of a move (to another county, no less), I thought I was screwed. Daniel took my credit application that I submitted online and made it work with the resources I had available. I drove down from Seattle, took the Element he had for a spin (a 2003 with only 96k miles!), and around an hour later, I was walking out with a shiny new car loan (and an Element we named Idris). I can count on one finger the number of positive used car buying experiences I've had, including this one. No condescension, no pressure, and when I failed to haggle, he still managed to finesse the numbers enough to make sure my financing would get approved. He was even nice enough to fill it up, since it was running low on gas and we were headed back to Seattle, and hooked us up with a place for a replacement battery for my current vehicle so it would make it home, too. I definitely recommend that anyone in need of a true no-hassle experience come here. Sure, it was a bit of a trek from the big city (and the fire on Hwy 167 didn't help), but it was absolutely worth it for the great experience and a great car. read more

After working with this lot I would say if you're looking to buy a used car that you should look elsewhere. They seemed deliberately ignorant during the negotiation of price, and offered no real explanation of any of the specifics. Once I got the car and it had issues (was which seems common with this lot) they then offered no support or explanation outside of "we didn't know". This is either them being genuinely inept or just flat lying, and I don't know which is better. Of all the times for a business to not care about customers, during a pandemic is just being straight heartless . Now I'm stuck with a broken car and have to sit knowing I shouldn't have gone to this dealership. DO NOT BUY HERE. read more

These guys have a history of getting lemon cars, making them passable (COVERING UP the issues NOT fixing them), and selling those lemons to unknowing buyers! DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM DESTINATION MOTORS! DO NOT BUY A CAR HERE!!!! Please read. I bought a $9,000 Subaru Tribeca off this lot on Dec. 28, 2018. On January 12, 2019 my headlight went out so in order to get to the headlight you have to remove the battery. When we removed the battery we saw that the battery for one was expired that month January 2019 and secondly the battery was leaking a pool of acid into the metal tray that the battery sits in. I replaced the battery and figured HEY why not give them a call and see if they can do anything about this considering I just purchased this car 2 weeks ago. So I give them a call and explain the situation, I'm not sure who I spoke to but he was very understanding and told me to send him a copy of my receipt via email (which I did directly once I got off the phone) and that he would be glad to reimburse me for the battery and he would be sending it right out to me. He also suggested that I leave a good review for them, key word: SUGGESTED. Which I would have no problem doing seeing as that was extremely helpful and I appreciated them doing that gesture for me, but as we all know you generally don't leave a review until you have received what you are leaving a review about, correct? He never once said it was a compromise, good review for the reimbursement check. So 2 months (give or take) go by and I still haven't received the check, so I give them a call. The man I spoke to said that he wasn't sure what was going on with that but that he would speak to the manager and get back to me the next day. Never did. So a couple weeks go by and I give them a call again to let them know I still haven't received a check nor has anyone given me a call in regards to this issue. The man I spoke to was completely unprofessional and was rude. He told me that he spoke to the man whom I originally spoke to in the first conversation about providing me a reimbursement check and said "Since you haven't left a good review, he didn't send you the check. You'll need to leave a review then we'll send it out no problem." As I said before this "compromise" was never stated in the first conversation and I let him know this, he said he'd get back to me the next morning. Never did. So a week or more go by and I give another call, spoke to the same rude man and he said the same thing as the previous conversation then told me he'd get back to me the next day. So here I am today and I get a call from the owner. He starts off by questioning me like I'm in a police interrogation about if the car was like that when I purchased it, well of course I didn't pull the battery out and do a full inspection in the car lot before I purchased it, so in that case I couldn't give him a clear answer except for the fact that I had the car for only 2 weeks and the acid already put a hole through the metal tray it was sitting on. I don't believe that kind of damage happens in 2 weeks. Generally those things get inspected before selling it by the owners/ or whoever they bring their cars to to get inspected. He continued to go around and around in circles with that fact that "he has the cars fully inspected and a battery failing wouldn't surpass inspection" which the battery worked fine aside from the fact it was expired and leaking acid. I tried to get him to get to the point as to why they offered to reimburse me when that clearly wasn't their intentions. Their intentions were to have me write out a good review BEFORE they sent a check, which in all honestly I don't believe they were even going to do that. The owner was COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL, he was treating me as if I did the damage to the battery and that I was trying to get one over on them. He didn't care at all that his employee told me that he was going to send the check and didn't follow through with it and failed to mention that there were stipulations in regards to me receiving the check. Honestly though, who in their right mind leaves a positive review for something they haven't received, a total scam for a good review. Not to mention 3 months later, and I'm now getting my brakes replaced. Clearly their inspectors don't do a thorough job. I understand it's a used car and had 109,000 miles but I shouldn't have to replace a battery within 2 weeks of purchasing it and 3 months later getting my brakes done. This wasn't a cheap car and I'm definitely not satisfied with my purchase. Overall, it was an extremely frustrating experience and I can't believe how unprofessional, rude and just complete scam artists these people are. Unbelievable. I just wanted to say THANK YOU to the crew at Destination Motors!!! Long story short- I found one of their vehicles listed on Craig's List and I responded to the post inquiring about the vehicle. The owner responded almost immediately with the information I was seeking. I set up a time for later that evening to go see and drive the car. I submitted my credit app online and by time I arrived they had my credit app done and approved! I did a quick test drive and when I came back we worked out the numbers, did the paperwork and I was out of there within 45 minutes!! It was great!! I have been looking for this vehicle for a long, long, long time and they JUST got that vehicle in over the weekend and said they had many calls on it. The owner promised to hold it for me until I got there later that evening and he did just that. I got the vehicle for a fantastic price and they also gave me the fair market value for my trade in. There was no pressure, no haggling, no going back and forth- it was easy and quick and the guys were great!!! This was the best car buying experience I've had! WHATEVER YOU DO, DO NOT PURCHASE A VEHICLE AT DESTINATION MOTORS! Very dishonest. A family member purchased a vehicle from this lot a few months back only to find out that the car burns a quart of motor oil every 100 miles. We took the car to the dealership to confirm this. There would have been no way to detect this on a test drive seeing as 10-15 miles is average. A sales associate said the car was driven over 1200 miles (information provided after the purchase) while sitting on the lot and said that he personally drove it on a camping trip. (Who takes lot cars camping, seriously ?) So this car suddenly and coincidentally just starts ripping through a quart of oil per 100miles as soon as it's under new ownership?; I think not. This issue existed and they had no problem selling an ultimate lemon to a broke college kid on student loans who has worked for 3 years to buy this car. Someone added oil to that car, multiple times. 1200 miles equates to more than 2.5 oil changes in that car that just burned off into the atmosphere. There is absolutely no way they were not privy to this issue. Now we are faced with spending 5k on a new motor and Destination Motors is unwilling to help. Avoid this place at all cost. read more

Destination motors offered no help what so ever. All they kept saying was "You signed the AS IS contract." The check engine light came on about 50 miles off the lot, and contacted them while driving, how much sooner could I contact them. My mechanic said that it is possible that the dealership cleared the codes just before Toyota of Puyallop did the check, so it wouldnt show unless they connected to the computer... read more
