First off, let me state that I absolutely hate hate hate dealing with car dealers and their pushy salesmen. I'm sure there are several factors that make this car purchase one of the easiest and most enjoyable ever for us. 1. We're older and no longer impulsive 2. We did our due diligence in our research before contacting anybody 3. We know our financial situation and credit scores so there were no surprises 4. We refused to settle for anything less than our expectations 5. Josh Reynolds - our salesman 6. Pricing listed within Fair Market Value rather than MSRP 7. Carfax emailed to us by Josh the night before our appointment We located this particular car online. When we called the dealership to verify if the car was still on the lot we were told "yes". We scheduled an appointment with Josh for 9:00am the next day. Upon our arrival, the car had already been pulled up to the front and ready for us to take out and test drive. Each of us provided a photo copy of our driver's license and in return we were given one hour to take the car for a test drive. We were both thrilled to test drive without a rep in the car with us so that we could talk comfortably among-st ourselves as well as dissect the car in private. Within 45 minutes of our test drive, we knew we would be taking this car off their hands. Since the pricing was fair, negotiations were not necessary. While filling out paperwork, we were offered complimentary beverages and snacks. Several banking institutions are available to guarantee the lowest % rates. The whole car transaction was completed in less than 2 hours (45 minutes were test driving). Additional warranties were offered but not pushed when we declined them. The car was detailed and filled with gas while we were filling out our paperwork. The license will be mailed to us so that we do not have to drive all the way back to the dealership (1 hour drive for us). We stole a 2013 Acura TL Advanced package with less than 12k miles and still under factory warranty. Thank you Josh for your time and honesty. This place is the worst, they sold us a car with an existing issue, hud the issue with patches. I was able to go to dealer and find out this dealer checked the code and they were aware but instead sold the car with this huge existing issue. Do not buy cars from them or anyone else not affiliated with a dealer. They said they would cover the repair, but the manager changed and the current one will do nothing and said "That was the old manager" we have tried really hard to not make it difficult. Also corporate does not answer your requests, so they don't care about any of us as customers. Places like this deserve to fail! Not good operations or management at all! Do yourself a HUGE FAVOR don't buy from them, trust us we have gone thru hell.....don't do it! read more

I'll be honest, I haven't visited Northwest Preowned Center and at this rate, I won't. I emailed them about a car that I found through autotrader.com. Fairly quickly (about thirty minutes later), I received a reply from Pamela (via Kris L's email) confirming the car I was interested in was available. When I replied that I was just curious at this point, Northwest Preowned Center went immediately radio silent; I've even attempted to follow up to which I've gotten no reply via email. This is a hard to find car and so it's unfortunately that I wasn't able to get more information on it, but it seems as if they didn't want to sell it to me. They've now had it two months and the price is dropping on it so that's good news for someone, but apparently not me. read more

Our experience from beginning to end in our used car experience was one of ease and was a stress free transaction. I had been looking for a new car for a month and had been to a few car dealerships and this by far was the nicest experience. Rich Knoll at BMW had referred us to their Northwest Pre-owned Center, since I was interested in a used Subaru Outback. We had the chance to work with Sales Advisor, Trevor and he was very knowledgeable about the car and had the car waiting for us upon our arrival. Also, my husband and I felt trusted with being about to take the car for a test drive without the Sales Advisor along for the drive. After a month of looking, we decided to move forward and we both felt that in working with Trevor, we received an honest offer for our trade in, along with the great price. Also, since the car is inspected at BMW, they go through the car with a fine tooth comb, which is an extra bonus! Car purchases can create a lot of anxiety and I wanted to be 100% sure before purchasing the car, so I decided to take an evening to think about it. We never felt pressured and never received any negative feedback from Trevor with this decision. Moving into purchasing, we got to work with Kenny and Ron, since Trevor had the day off. These guys lied to me. I came in preapproved and they said fine but you still have to fill out a credit application so we "can match information only you know to the application you did with your bank" to "prevent identity theft and fraud" even though I had the application ID. Spencer said twice in front of a witness that they would not pull my credit (would have caused too many hard inquiries). About 7 days after buying the car, I checked my credit and what do you know, they pulled my credit not once but twice generating 2 new hard inquiries causing my score to drop. The 2 new inquiries were both with the specific bank I was already preapproved with, it's like they did a new application. They agreed to buff out some scuff marks but half-assed it and when I pointed it out to Josh he says "well it is a used car you know". True, but he agreed to do something and failed to deliver on it. He pretended to be low pressure but Josh's demeanor changed once the deal was done. I wonder how long he's going to use the "I'm new here" BS. He sure is going to wear out that disgusting pair of boat shoes though. I say stay away from here but if you insist, be sure to watch these guys like a hawk. They are going to try to cut corners, trick you and pull any slick move they can to keep things in their favor. read more

I only viewed (and test drove) one vehicle on their lot so I can't speak for the rest but this vehicle was very clean and well taken care of. I like shopping for used cars less than I like getting a prostate exam, so I was pleasantly surprised. I found a car I really liked, an older Mercedes SLK. Pamela came out promptly, showed me the complete history of the car and allowed me to test drive it right away. None of this "how much are you willing to spend, etc. etc." We talked turkey and the deal went smoothly, except for the mandatory credit check. I wasn't financing, I was paying cash. Anyway I paid mostly in 20s so we counted them over and over again. I miscounted and gave them one too many. But they were honest enough to call me afterward and tell me I had overpaid. I had a check for the twenty in the mail a week later. Overall, I am pleased with the dealer and the car. I'd probably buy from here again. 4 stars because of the unnecessary credit check (mine is excellent). read more

I called back and asked for a manager, he told me he was the manager and he didn't care if I wrote bad reviews. Experience started off ok enough, then went shitty....turned into terrible customer service..I thought car dealerships were in business to sell cars??? So I don't have the best credit, but I came with a loan preapproval....and then i was submitted to another bank and got an approval as well... but strong arm tactics, insults and attempted belittling of customers doesn't really exude customer service now does it??? I had only been living in Washington for a month, and really needed a vehicle to transport my 3 kids to and from school. The people that we worked with were extremely nice, and helpful. We bought an affordable vehicle that would fit our family. In excellent condition we felt we paid a little high, but considering it was from a dealership the price seemed fair. Now I know the price was anything but fair. When I asked if there were any known problems I was told the break pads were old so they were replaced. Well two weeks after purchasing the vehicle I find out that all 4 rotors also need replaced. In addition to that the vehicle does not shift from park into any other gear unless you let the car sit and run for about 10 mins. So much for saving on gas. Also all four tires are so worn down that there are wires showing on the back sides, and I was told is dangerous to be driving anywhere right now. So there it sits in our garage until we can afford to fix everything on it because it is too dangerous to drive around with my kids in the car. This was our first experience buying a preowned vehicle that wasn't from CarMax...definitely will be our last. read more

We knew exactly what we wanted, the car was priced fairly and in excellent condition. This business is the "used car" department of BMW Northwest which is next door. I just got a fantastic deal on a beautiful Nissan Juke in almost new condition. The car was spotless with every option available, and I paid a very good price (I did my research and compared)....definitely the nicest car out there in my price range. No pushy sales people - First, Chris was extremely helpful over the phone getting me a car fax.....he had it emailed to me in seconds, and got the car ready for me to view. When I arrived Mike showed me the car, explained all it's features and benefits effectively and furnished copies of pertinent info. After a test drive I was ready to buy it and Chris washed the car and filled up the tank.....Mike offered me coffee or water while I waited. David, the finance manager was very personable and efficient and thought outside the box to make the transaction much easier and less costly. In all I was out the door in my new car within an hour! No one came across as pushy or on commission. I found everyone there to be down to earth and caring and they all worked together to get me a good deal on an awesome car. Update 12/7/16 : This place is AWESOME! I discovered a cracked fog light the day after I bought my car there and Chris was so nice about it and said he would look into it. He promptly called back and told me he had ordered it for me. When it came in, he called to schedule a time for me to come by and have them install it. I had been sick for a few weeks and today was the first day I was able to get in there and have the fog light replaced. Chris asked if I wanted to wait there and watch TV and eat snacks or take a rental car and come back later. I said I wanted to go to Sportco and might walk, but they insisted I take the rental car since it was cold out. The rental was a nice new Honda Fit. When I returned they had installed the fog light, put my new license plates on and even washed my car - all no charge! I had also gotten my car key gadget (fob) stuck down between the seat and console and they got it out for me. Again, everyone there was very nice and personable. When the weather changed and it started raining buckets here in the pacific north west, my car started flooding on the drivers side. I thought it was the sun roof and took it to a glass shop to have it checked out, no that was not it. I then called Spencer and he had me bring it in. They took my car to figure out and fix the leek and gave me a loaner to drive during the week it took to find and fix it. We had a very pleasant experience buying a car here. After visiting two other dealers that day and receiving really aggressive sales treatments, we were getting frustrated with the whole process. When we arrived at Northwest Preowned Center we were warmly greeted by Josh. He told us a little about the cars we were looking at, never being aggressive in any way and then let us take a test drive without him which was so refreshing and allowed my husband and I to talk more about the car, financing, etc. without having someone in the back talking about the highlights of the car. When it came to the financing process, although we had been pre approved by our bank, they offered to search for better deals and found one for us that was quite a bit better than we were offered. They also cleaned up the car again, filled it full of gas and jokingly I asked them to wash our old van and they did!
