I saw a vehicle on Larson's website that matched my needs. I called to make an appointment to drop by and see the vehicle. The sales appointment was with Adrian. While the dealerships under the Larson name have a few different locations/lots, the sales location we were working with was setup quite nice. The lobby had clean restrooms, plenty of seating, and a complimentary coffee machine. There are some historic vehicles from the Larson inventory found in the lobby which are fun to view. We did a quick test drive, and moved on to negotiations. I had done quite a bit of research and took an online car buying class of sorts. So I had some tools in my negation arsenal. It took some haggling, and I didn't get the price adjusted too much, but I paid sort of what I was expecting - what was reasonable. With the OTD price agreed upon, I was introduced to the finance manager Ron. He ran through the typical packages offered to protect the vehicle. However, I was fine with the standard warranty, so I didn't purchase these products. Still, listen closely as some may find them beneficial. A very unpleasant experience with the service department at Larson Dodge. I have a 2021 Jeep Wrangler that I bought at another location, my Jeep had a total shut down no power and had to be towed. I called Larson Dodge on Monday June 22nd and told them the issue, and they said to tow it and they would have it looked at on Tuesday June 23 in the morning and a service advisor would call me on Monday to discuss the issue. That call never happened I did get a call the next day Tuesday and was asked all the same questions I told them on Monday. I was told they would have an answer by Thursday different from what I was told at first. Thursday came and no calls until I called them at 300 pm to find out what was going on. Well, I was told they haven't even looked at the vehicle. Due to short staffing, they would get to it Friday morning. I will just hold my breath and see if this really happens. It has been very disappointing and unacceptable in my opinion. I was told it could take days to weeks to see if my warranty will even cover the issues when they decide to look at it. I'm exhausted of this dealership and their lack of communication, care or concern. Took my van in for a diagnostic test (they tried to charge me even though i was under warranty) They then said they had to keep my van. This was Thursday July 31st. Today is October 10. 71 days and I have been jerked around everyone of them. We've called Chryster's main company phone number, they said they would make this right and wouldn't you know it, even THEY can't get Larson automotive to answer or respond to calls. They took my van, that seats 7 people, and gave me a DODGE CHARGER as a replacement. Our family of 5 has to take TWO SEPERATE cars now if we want to go anywhere as a family. **Review: Misleading Practices and Poor Customer Service** I recently tried to purchase an Escalade V from this dealership, and the experience was nothing short of frustrating and unprofessional. Initially, they advertised a warranty that supposedly came with the vehicle. However, it quickly became apparent that this was false advertising, as the warranty didn't apply to this particular car. When I pointed out that the car was overpriced, the salesperson referred me to the manager. The manager presented me with a Canadian spec sheet, claiming the car was worth over $40,000 more than it actually was--a blatant attempt to justify an inflated price that was still higher than their advertised amount. As an out-of-state buyer from New York, I was informed that they only accept cash deals for out-of-state purchases. Despite being prepared to pay cash, the manager claimed he would make an exception for me. However, things took a strange turn after I submitted my ID and credit information. The manager insisted that I find a notary to proceed with the sale and suggested sending my personal documents to the notary. This is highly unusual since, in New York State, documents are typically sent directly to the customer, who then takes them to a notary. When I shared this with my bank, they were baffled by the dealership's demands. The manager also claimed that their website stated they do not do out-of-state deals. Yet, when I asked him to show me this policy, he conveniently ignored my request. It became clear that they were not interested in selling me the car once they realized I was a well-qualified buyer from New York. He also denied giving me a contact with the finance department which seemed to be the one pulling his strings To make matters worse, my bank, which is part of their preferred network, attempted to reach out to them numerous times, only to be ignored. The manager also claimed that their website stated they do not do out-of-state deals. Yet, when I asked him to show me this policy, he conveniently ignored my request. After all this, they abruptly ended the deal without any explanation, leaving me with no understanding of why they decided to walk away. It's worth mentioning that this car has been sitting on their lot for over four months, likely due to these deceitful practices. I've purchased cars out of state multiple times and have never encountered such an experience. In summary, I strongly advise against doing business with this dealership. A month in the shop and couldn't get an accurate written estimate of repairs. Repairs were being covered by insurance due to a collision and the price moved all over the board. Their excuse was that it is difficult when a 3rd party is involved. So basically since insurance was covering it and was paying attention to the invoices they couldn't just slap any old number in there and get paid. Could have been a mistake but multiple estimates were written and not one was correct. If you are able to get an actual estimate make sure you go over it line by line with a calculator. Do not bring your vehicle here. Period!!! I took my vehicle to the Tacoma location for a clock spring, which is a manufacturers, defect and fixed for free . After receiving my vehicle back, none of the buttons on my steering wheel worked, and even the horn didn't work . Same suspicious activity that was happening before, but I did have the use of my buttons. After multiple visits to that dealership and having nothing fixed, I took it to Larson Dodge and Puyallup . I explained my issue and they told me I would have to pay unless it was specifically related to the clock spring . I received a phone call after dropping the vehicle off hours later saying that they could not figure out the issue and they would like to have an additional 3 to 4 hours of $$$ to run diagnostic. With what they were looking at they were telling me it was gonna be around $1200... I did go to the dealership, and I got in an argument with the manager, which is a very rude person from the East Coast bragging about how he was in the army and in tanks.... I paid the $300 for them to tell me the clock spring wasn't the problem and I denied giving them an additional 3 to 4 hours of diagnostic time . I took the vehicle home and checked the fuse underneath the hood which belonged to the accessories and clock spring, which was blown ..... I replaced the fuse for $.30 and I have not had a problem since . This is the true definition of a stealership. I did contact them about purchasing a hellcat and I had walked in with $30,000 in cash as a down payment . The three salesman sat there on their butts, talking together, and one of them threw a joke at me because I was in my slippers.... WARNING! DO NOT GO HERE! I have never written a review like this, but feel compelled to warn anyone and everyone. From walking in to exiting there is not one positive thing I can say about Puyallup Larson Dodge, specifically the service department. My husband took his Dodge work truck in for minor repair. He's a general foreman diesel/heavy equipment mechanic, but work is so busy he doesn't have time for his commuter truck. He thought taking it to the dealer might be best- ABSOLUTELY WRONG (at least this dealer)! He dropped it off over a month ago and specifically told them what was wrong AND said, I'm pretty certain it's the starter (he quickly accessed it at home with no tools; it was a quick look before he headed out to work and before the tow truck came to take it to the dealer). Then the nightmare began. Over the next several weeks, he called repeatedly only to be told "people were out and would call him back" or "let me transfer you to their voicemail so you can leave a message". He never received a call back or message on regards to his truck for a couple weeks. Finally a text came over saying he needed a battery. He laughed and said, "No I don't, but so whatever, I just need my truck back. And don't throw it the old one because nothing is wrong with it!" Days turned into more weeks, with again, no communication, no return calls, no one answering, messages after messages left. Finally he went down in person and demanded to know what is being done with his truck. He was told, "we think it's electrical." In an irritated response he told them "why wasn't this figured out weeks ago, why hasn't antiperspirant communicated with me. " No apology, just a "deer-in-the-headlights" look. He left. A couple days later he received a call his truck is done- what?! They communicated! AND fixed it?! What was wrong with it??? Surely something complex since it took a month to diagnose! A STARTER! It needed a freaking starter, just like he told them in the beginning! Before he picked up his truck, he texted them saying they need to figure out how to make him as a customer happy before he comes in to grab his truck. So did they? Of course not! No apologies, no explanations, nothing. AND to top it off, He opened his truck and owns fell out, he looked around and noticed they through around his work tools and paperwork throughout the back seat and passenger seat. His words were, "it looked like a tweaker was trying to steal something!" Unbelievable! We will never return to Puyallup Larson Dodge and vow to let everyone we know to never go there for not just service, but anything. If you can't care for your customers after a purchase, you don't care well enough during a purchase. We did recently take another rig to Auburn Dodgr and they apologized for what happened eventhough they aren't affiliated and let us know that Puyallup Dodge has that reputation. So sad! read more

We went to look at a Jeep listed online. I wasn't totally thrilled with a few things that needed to be corrected before buying. It was used, and I know it would not be perfect. Then, we decided to change our minds over and over again on what we wanted. The salesperson Nathan was super kind, professional, and open-minded. He continued to offer coffee and water while looking around and deciding. He made this decision easy. Not once did I feel pressured to buy. I complimented him directly along with his manager. I was told by the manager that they don't hire salespeople, they hire customer assistance. I could sure feel the difference. We have been looking for a while, and typically, the saleperson is rushed, which makes me feel uncomfortable, and we just want to leave. This early day turned into a late evening. The staff stayed several hours after closing to ensure we were taken care of since we live out of town. The location is clean and has a great hot coco/expresso machine. Some tips: Eat before you go so you can test drive to make sure you get the right one. Road construction out front. They have 2 locations. New and used vehicles on different sides of the road. So here we go again, back in February i had sent email to the manager about issues I had with this facility, how I had bad service and went to another dodge facility had bad service there and came back. This last weekend I sent email to service department, to get answers to questions....because can never reach person on phone. Monday morning I called and of course could not reach anyone and left message. I waited all day for return call, called again at 5pm. Finally reach someone, not in service, and asked my question. She could not answer my question or find someone to answer it. I was told she would have someone call me back. I told her I had already sent email and this was 2nd call for the day. She apologized and said she would pass message to manager and have them call back the next day (tuesday). Now today is wednesday and still NOBODY has emailed/called me back!!! Worst place to take your car for any repairs. You can only get updates from one person and they are always to busy to answer the phone. I've been waiting for over 2 weeks for a manager to call me back. Also calling everyday day. Then when I finally get answers I was told 45 plus day minimum for the part to come in. So far I dropped my car off on 9-23-25 part was ordered 9-24-25. And was told they are back ordered 3000 on that one part. And they ordered 88, out of those 88 they said hopefully one will be for my car or will have to wait another 45 days. Today, 10-8-25 They double expedited it for me and got told I could get it one day earlier on 11-7-25. But no garentee. I could have ordered the same part from Mopar and got it in 2 days. This car is still covered under manufacture so no cost to me otherwise I would have ordered the part my self. If you need repairs do not come here for any reason. Go to tacoma dodge or literally any place. I will update after or if I ever get my car back. Update 10-16-25 is there is still no ETA for this to be resolved. Update 10-27-25 the repair on my vehicle is postponed from November 7 to November 29 or later. Looks like I will have to get a lawyer to git this fix. read more

Bought a car, everything was good. Filling out paperwork and then we couldn't find out salesman. Turns out while washing our car they severely cracked the windshield. He was trying to fix the situation, but really had no clue what to do. They expected me to drive it home and come back to have them fix it. I wasn't about to drive off the lot with a messed up vehicle. Left the car there and am currently waiting for word back on when this windshield will be replaced. Having buyers remorse big time. Read the contract later that if we didn't schedule a service within 30 days they aren't obligated to do a damn thing for you. Never received a call back and now it's been 4 mon Oh and the free oil changes for life is a joke too. Called today to schedule and they are booked out until May. I bought a 2025 Jeep Compass from Larson Dodge in Puyallup.. I live 5 hrs away so did the deal on the phone which took a week... went to pick up car on the following Monday...few issues... the passenger seat rocked back and forth...service couldn't figure it out... my son did in 1 minute when he looked at it...everytime I went around a corner the car vibrated... called and they couldn't figure out... I did... googled it and found out it was caused by the lane assist...steering wheel is off center... and they want me to go to the nearest Dodge dealer to fix... there is no near Dodge dealer where I live...and Brakes Plus does not work... i contacted Paul Straling and Tony Moore by phone but always in a meeting so text... their answers were to send me to the nearest dealer....the Brakes Plus should have been verified that it worked before leaving the dealership...I have text and asked for a refund of the ridiculous amount they charge of $399 for a product that is not working....I did not buy a brand new vehicle to have it in the shop for repairs...It has been a week and no one has answered my texts or given a call back... read more

I love my Jeep, but I could have bought it anywhere. I bought it from Larson Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram Sales and paid for equipment not installed. I didn't want the equipment anyway, so just refund the cost to me. AJ said on May 29, 2021 they would refund it to my lender. Which would be okay with me. Again, on August 5th Gary Olguin said they would refund it to my lender. But alas, nothing has been done and no calls or emails have been returned from Larson Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram since. Off course he wouldnt get approved because he has 2 other 30k loans each. So I told them to stop and just go through the 20k approval that just in my name. I expected a Down payment but never expected to be it that large. And they want me to put it upfront. And they said because of my credit which is "560"?! Best car purchasing experience imaginable. I wanted to buy a new Jeep Grand Cherokee in white, and was getting the run-around from other dealerships for the price I wanted (after research). Tacoma said I had to go with a black Jeep to get that deal before the end of the month. (p.s. YUCK.) Car Pros lured me there with a great price but once I arrived, the interior was the wrong color and they would charge me $1600 to switch it out. (p.s. NO THANK YOU.) At Larson, it was completely different. I was so lucky to work with Tyler Jundi and Tony Moore!! Within a half hour, we agreed on a price and they found the white Jeep I wanted deep down in my heart - in Shelton! Two mornings later, as promised, my beautiful ride was waiting for me at Larson. Exactly 60 miles on it from the drive. :) In fact, everything promised was delivered upon. They said the car would be there within 3 days - it was there in 1.5. I was notified the moment the license plates were in (2 weeks). They said they would download Navigation on the car. When I returned in 3 weeks to do this, Wendy in Service was fantastic and personable, but I was nervous when I had to sign something... and it was an agreement that I was paying $0. Awesome. She even walked me out to my car in the lot and showed me how to begin using it! In my opinion, you can't go wrong with Tony, Tyler and Larson. I really trust them with my future business. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE & SERVICE DEPARTMENT EVER. I bought a 2018 Dodge Charger Hellcat from Larson On May 24, 2020 from salesman Donnie. It took 6 hours, yes you read that right, SIX HOURS to finish the purchase & we finally left the dealership at midnight. All we wanted to do was write a check in full for the car. Why did that take 6 hours??? They weren't busy! It was a Sunday night around 6pm when we got there on a holiday weekend! We discovered there was something wrong with the GPS & made an appointment May 27th to get it fixed. We were informed by Anthony @CJDR that we needed a new radio and it would take a week to get it in. We waited 2 weeks & finally called to see if our radio was in and a woman answered & said it had been in "for a few days" & she "didn't know why they hadn't called to let us know". So, we made another appointment to get the new radio put in on June 18th & picked the car up on the 19th. We entered our home address into the navigation and by the time I pulled out of the lot & stopped at the stoplight in front of Larson, the GPS had lost all information & said I was in Buckley, WA not Puyallup! We also discovered the front & rear cameras weren't hooked back up after they put the new radio in. So, once again, I called to talk to Anthony & was informed he was with another customer & he would call me back. I also text Anthony. I received no reply. We waited 3 days for a call back from Anthony so I called & asked for the shop manager. I was informed he was unavailable & would call me back ASAP. YEP, waited another 3 days, no call back from service manager. At that point, I called the store & asked to speak to the GM. If it truly was the GM, he didn't seem to care what our experience was & passed us off to Donnie stating it's up to our salesperson to be the go between between us & the service dept if we were having issues. Donnie assured me he would go over personally & handle the problem & I would be hearing from the service dept. You guessed it, waited a week, no phone call. So I called Donnie back, he feigned shock & I informed him we would not be bringing my car back to Larson given the horrible customer service. All he replied with was, "OK., sorry about your trouble with the service dept., thanks" & hung up. He didn't give a damn. He got his commission. I hope that "measly $200 commission" you complained about was worth losing good customers over Donnie. After Donnie blew me off, I decided to give the service manager one more chance & called & was told by a woman who answered the phone he'd gone home for the day (it was 2pm in the middle of the week) and she could leave him a message & he would call me back. You betchya I left another message! I told her to let her Service Dept Manager know his service dept was the worst customer service we had ever encountered & we wouldn't bring my car back there if it was the last dealership in WA State. She mumbled ok, she'd get him the message & hung up on me. I doubt he ever got the message and if he did, he didn't give a damn because, uh huh, no call back! How hard is it to pick up a phone & contact a customer? How hard is it to pick up a phone & return a customers call? How hard is it to do your job correctly? It was super easy for me to touch 10 numbers to call Larson. Apparently, phone skills & customer service aren't required to work at Larson Dodge of Puyallup. It's almost as if Larson goes out of their way to find individuals who don't even know what a phone is. Or Customer service skills. Or skills as simple as installing a radio, and other components unconnected to install a radio. I'm just grateful my service only included a radio. I wouldn't trust them to do any other engine, transmission, or other important work on my car. I suggest you not trust them either. This dealership doesn't care about its reputation, it's customers, or it's customer service. Obviously, based on these reviews, right?! I wish I had read the reviews before dropping $56k in their pockets. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone, not even my worst enemy. Fortunately, we have found a reputable dealership close to our home we're very happy with & they do a great job! I happily gave them a glowing review. If I had written this review when I first signed the papers on our new 2020 JLU Sahara Altitude, I would have given 5 stars. Justin (salesperson) and Ron (Finance) were attentive, responsive and helpful. Errors in the purchase agreement were corrected quickly and fairly. At that point, I would have highly recommended this dealership. We purchased virtually and had the vehicle shipped. The Jeep was all that was promised, but the customer service ended there. No paperwork was sent down with the vehicle, empty (seriously empty gas tank) and unwashed. Zero "New Car Purchase" flair was included. It was truly underwhelming. It has taken several emails to be provided the purchase paperwork, I never received any "temporary" driving permits and the DMV paperwork and money has never been received. This is an issue because I am about to face big California penalties for not adhering to the registration deadlines. Needless to say, responsiveness has disappeared since closing the deal. I would have given zero Stars... If you're considering buying from this dealership I would seriously reconsider! THIS PLACE IS A JOKE! DO NOT BUY ANYTHING HERE! First off, I was ripped off with a truck I bought and then bought their service contact and NO ONE HAS HELPED ME TO CANCEL THE CONTACT. I have emailed them and called and I have received NOTHING from them!!! Secondly, I got my windows tinted from here and I looked like CRAP the front windows (ones I got tinted) didn't match the back. Sales guy was good but the finance guy was a sleezy sales guy that convinced me to buy all of the add ons. They have a 5 day return policy but after i went back the next day to have them remove the added warranties and theft protection and service agreement he tells me it was too late as they already sent it off to the bank. If I could give negative star I would. After having what seemed like a fantastic experience, I opened my credit karma account and found out that the value of the car I co-signed for my 18 year old son was $6,000 - $7,000 under what we paid for! We could have bought TWO cars for what they sold us the car we have for! Their technique is to distract you with the payment so you don't notice the price. Thanks a lot guys... smiling faces with a stab in the back. We're stuck for 7yrs. Nice way to screw an 18 year old. I on the other hand should know freaking better... I was just focused on getting him a reliable car. But not saddle him with something he could never sell. Buyer Beware!! read more

My experience here was not a good one. I do not recommend this dealership. If you must, I mean their prices are good and they don't do the rebate, bait and switch- that's nice, just make sure you have at least 4 hours, you check that your paperwork is for the actual vehicle you are purchasing, check for recalls while sitting there- even on brand new vehicles and don't expect anyone to answer the main number or return your calls. The only way I would EVER purchase from this dealer again is if I could do my entire deal with Tony Moore GM). I was put in contact with Tony and he is personable, helpful in resolving many issues and has good follow through. I love my Jeep but not my experience at Larson. read more
