We requested theTranquility package for our service. I cannot stress how friendly and patient the staff was to us. From the moment we walked in to when we left, everyone was very professional and friendly. They were totally invested in us enjoying our services. Yesterday was the first time I have tried this place and my massage was AMAZING! AJ did a phenomenal job! I had a 50 minute and she even did my scalp. OMG! The bath with champagne was a PLUS. Now, they did convince me to do the 25min add on foot treatment and though it was good, it was not worth an extra $60. I also had the lunch and I would not do that again either. While visiting Hot Springs, I was thrilled to book an appointment with Brandy Richards for highlights and cut at Destinations Day Spa. I live in Malibu, California, and no one does California Blonde better than Brandy. I've tried several stylists in Santa Monica and Malibu, though none compare to Brandy. I've known Brandy for almost twenty years, and plan my trips to Arkansas around her availability. Destinations Day Spa is lucky to have her. I can guarantee you, you won't meet a nicer or better person. While back in California, I've had several people ask me where I have my hair done. When I tell them Arkansas, it's a little too far for them to travel, though they still give me a nice compliment on how it looks. Great job Brandy! Hope to see you again soon! read more

BAD customer service. Do not! I repeat, DO NOT go to this spa. First of all, they lied with the time. They said the message was going to be and hour and then it turned out that they only did 40 mins. Second... THEIR COMMUNICATION IS HORRIBLE! We were running late to our appointment and they stated that they can work with our time and make sure we get what we paid for. WE DID NOT!! I can't say enough great things about our experience here! My husband had the deep tissue massage and I opted for the mom-to-be prenatal massage. Heavenly in an understatement. We were treated like royalty from the second we walked in. The service was amazing, and the massage was second to none. Pros: The 25 minute relaxation touch massage was nice. The guy made me feel very comfortable. They let us sit in the salt room while we waited for our rooms to be ready. The lash lift came out good. Prices seemed decent. A lot of options and everyone was very friendly. Cons: When I think spa so think pristine but this place was just slightly unorganized I guess you could say. Not really dirty just kind of messy looking. The tan was a waste but I think my daughter may have stopped it too soon. Overall a good experience. I would return. read more

My husband and I spent a half day at the spa for our mini moon visit to Hot Springs. We both had the Tranquility spa package and from start to finish the service was impeccable! We also had the lunch option with our package and the food was very good as well! They were very attentive to me as I was 5 months pregnant and they made sure I was comfortable. The soak, massage, foot ritual, and facial (my favorite) were phenomenal! I have been getting massages, at a minimum, once a month, for over 10 years and this by far has been one of my top 5 experiences. My only regret is that I don't live close enough to come to this location more often. I highly highly recommend this place for a day of relaxation. read more

I honestly don't know where to start. Bizarre maybe sums it up. The people that work there are friendly. The people that work there also dress like they are ready to run errands, workout, mow the grass, etc. I didn't see anyone dressed in a way that distinguished them as a staff member. We had 30 minute massage and 30 minute facial. The same person did both services and I don't know if they were qualified to do either but they definitely weren't qualified to do both. For the facial there was no discussion about skin type, allergies, trouble areas. My hair also wasn't put into a towel so I left the "spa" with a lot of lotion and oil in my hair which was topped off with wet rags being set on my hair throughout the process. The massage portion was okay but not much pressure at all. I am still trying to process what exactly I paid for today. read more

This past weekend was kind of special for my girlfriend because it was her birthday and also this would be the first time either of us would get full body massage. Destination Day Spa was more then wonderful with handle us with letting us know what we could expect with this being our first. When getting to the spa all the worker was more then wonderful and so pleasant. Then our two massage therapist I believe did too great of a job. Their massage felt just right and they had the perfect attitude to make us feel relax and comfortable. I know at a couple part of the massages they were so good that they actually put us to sleep. I wish that I actually stayed in Hot Spring so I could schedule us more appointments. I will say on my next trip I will make sure that me and my girl will set us another appointment. read more

We brought a bachelorette party of 8 to Destinations Day Spa and they provided a great experience! We got the private room with access to the salt room which allowed us to snack/drink wine/and talk in between everyone's services. I got a prenatal massage which left me feeling great and many of the girls loved their facials! Definitely a good place for a group! The staff were very friendly and accommodating and the front had a cute gift shop with locally made products. My girlfriend and I scheduled a couples massage to celebrate my birthday. Never have I received such horrible service. This was our first time going to destinations and we absolutely recommend going anywhere else if possible. First we get into the massage room between the clutter and mismatched bedding used the room came off as dirty. The sheets used were either dirty from a previous client or stained to the point they should have been thrown away. Once the two people pretending to be a masseuse came into the room both ask if we had any areas that were particularly sore or needed attention. My girlfriend and I both identified areas we wanted focused on and through out the entire massage the areas we mentioned were basically ignored. The young lady who preformed my massage not only ignored what I requested but she seemed to not actually know what she was doing. After spending the next 50 mins trying to get through the process. We were left to get dressed, once the lights were turned on it was clear they had no idea how to preform a massage. We spent the next 10 mins attempting to clean the excess lotion off and get dressed. It was to the point we had to use the sheets to clean off large white clumps of lotion. Unfortunately since we booked the appointment the same day as services the company had already charged use for the services prior to even arriving, so we were left with no choice but to waste $210. And plan a massage with a more reputable company. After this interaction I feel like giving one star is generous. read more
