I was disappointed with the chip repair done on my windshield. I chose this business because of its great Yelp reviews and the fact that it's family-owned--I have a lot of respect for family-run businesses and try to support them over large companies whenever possible. The father performed the repair while the son stayed in the work truck, where I paid him. After the job was done, they left quickly without checking to see if I was satisfied. As they were driving away, I called to express my concerns about the quality of the repair. The son told me that chip repairs are like filling potholes--that they're not meant to be perfect, but simply prevent the crack from spreading. While I understand that, I asked him to look at the photos because he hadn't even checked the work his father did. I explained that sometimes a repair just doesn't turn out well and it's okay to acknowledge that. Instead, he told me that even if he looked at the photos, his answer would be the same. That response made me feel like my opinion didn't matter and that there was no interest in making things right. That's ultimately why I'm leaving this review. I needed my windshield replaced and I called 4 places so you don't have to. I called places that came up around the Long Beach area. Most of these places will come to you and is included in the prices/quotes. I called Destiny AutoGlass CA and spoke with Eli. He beat all the quotes by $70. Excellent customer service 10/10. We scheduled for noon and they were here at 11:45. In my eyes on time is late. That's how I was raised. They were quick and efficient in replacing the windshield. There was a company working across the street installing a charging port for an electric car and they came up to me after Eli/Destiny AutoGlass left to ask how much I paid and complimented their quick work. They said they'd be reaching out to them for work on their company cars. These guys did great work. Didn't get Eli's partners name but both guys were very professional.
