Appalling service, lied twice about sending an item (that Royal Mail stated they never received) and blamed the local delivery depot claiming they'd damaged it in transit. Failed to refund as they said they'd damaged would and had to be chased for it. When they did refund me they subtracted the postage charges on an item I never even received!! Probably one of the worst expexperiences I've had buying online....AVOID !! read more

Great shop with a fantastic owner. I went in later in the evening looking for what I thought would remove some streaking caused by a sealant that was applied in the sun. Marco came out to greet me, asked if he could see the vehicle to check out the streaking himself. After looking at it he then asked what I had already tried. After hearing what I had tried he went into the shop and grabbed a few items. Initially he tried his line of ceramic detail spray which removed some of the streaking but Marco said he had something else and then began using a super resign polish. In the small test area he was able to clear the streaking out with the polish. He then walked me through the steps that I would n ed to do to get the best results. I was very impressed with Marco's knowledge, skill, and friendliness. After ringing me out for a few items, none of which I felt pressured to buy Marco asked if there were any aspects of detailing I was interested in and I list a couple things I would like to learn to do better Marco explained he puts on free classes occasionally that cover some of the topics. He then asked if I would be interested in participating and if so to leave my name and phone number in his book so he would be able to reach out to me when the classes begin. I recently started to get more into detailing and was seeking a shop that could offer a variety of detailing supplies to me at a good price. What I like about detailing depot is that the owner Marco is honest with you. He does not try to sell you something that you do not need. What keeps me coming back to Detailing Depot is the fact that Marco runs this place with an old school business mindset. He takes care of his customers and is not out for a quick buck. For example, there was a scratch on my cars trunk from one of my family members trying to get bird poop off of it. My mother felt bad and went to another detail supply store in Irvine. They ended up selling her a compound that only works well with a machine and not by hand. Luckily for me I went into the Detailing Depot before we used it because I wanted to make sure that the product that was sold to her was the right one for the job. At this point Marco informed me that the compound doesn't work well by hand and that the detailing place my mother went to sold her a product to make a quick buck off of her not knowing any better about the products. Marco then told me to bring my car in the back and told me that David one of the detailers that he is friends with will fix it for me. After this interaction with them it showed me why Marco is so respected in the industry. It is reasons like this that explains why they have been in business for many years and why so many people come to him for their supplies.
