    Falafel smashburger & pistacchio latte
    Ha T.

Finally went to detour coffee and the pistacchio latte is so good. They use pistacchio milk which is different from other ones I've had in the area as I believe the other use whole milk. I also got the falafel smashburger. I felt there was a lot of bun compared to the filling. The food menu was extensive and seem to switch up often so I'll try something else the next time I go but think I'll stick with the pistacchio latte. Space overall was very nice but fills up fast. Would be a nice place to catch up with friends. Street parking is probably the better option rather than trying to find parking in front of the shop as it is very limited

Wow! The BEST BLT and seasoned fries. Lots of meat and served on focaccia bread which I've never seen before. Delicious! The date latte was nice, I personally couldn't taste it but I am not a coffee drinker so that's probably why. The service was excellent! The co-working was as well! He took time to explain what things were in the continental curio. I'd definitely return and do highly recommend. Go, enjoy!!!

I'd definitely return to this coffee shop! I ordered a speciality latte, which was on the pricier side at $11.50, but it was really good! First time trying pistachio milk which I thought was a cool offering. I also got the chicken Caesar sandwich and fries, very yummy! Inside the cafe is large, so there's plenty of seating to stay and get work done as well. And I have to shoutout the staff! The barista offered us a free pastry when we mentioned it was our first time visiting. He definitely didn't have to do that but it immediately made me want to return and continue supporting this business! Outside there are parking spots but they were full so I paid to park a few streets over via Park Mobile and walked.

Love a good house-made syrup cafe!!!! This place is so cute and their coffee is delish. They had fun things to order on the menu and cool latte flavors. I ordered the vanilla latte and my sister got the brown sugar latte. Both 10/10 they also had grab and go items as well.

Relaxing coffee spot with indoor and outdoor seating. There is free parking lot right in front with bathroom, board game, etc. We enjoyed trying Mamool for the first time and staffs were so friendly.

The service here was great and very quick. This was one of the best London fogs I've ever had. The flavor was so rich and creamy. And you could see the seasonings and lavender flowers on top. The only thing I didn't like was that this place was kind of dirty even after arriving in the morning. The seating and everything was very beat up. I even saw a panel come off of a seating area while here. And the furniture in general seemed beat up and dirty. This place could easily be 5 stars if those things were addressed.

Good, sometimes crowded, neighborhood halal coffee shop. Their espresso beverages, like their habibi latte, are excellent and served quickly to guests. The baked goods and their breakfast menu are imaginative and have great options. The breakfast burrito is filling. I don't know if their price points are optimal for the type of food served. Plenty of bike riders and other guests come by the shop during the weekends. Also, this place is a first date kind of place, too.

So Went Here On A Thursday Evening To Catch Up With a Close Friend Who Discovered This Place Recently. It's Located Next To Darna & No Surprise When We Paid Digitally It Came Up As Darna Instead Of "Detour Coffee" So Based On The Menu As I Usually Like To Ask The Employees What They Recommend As I Tend To Eat With My Eyes But The Sir Who Took Our Order Wasn't The Most Welcoming When We Asked For His Recommendations. Also The Menu I Pictured Apparently Wasn't Available But Smaller Versions Called "Sliders" Of The Sandwiches For The Same Price & No Side Included So We Were Shocked As It Was Listed Differently On The Menu Pictured Then Handed A Smaller Menu At Around 6:30pm. Also While We're Ordering He Seemed Annoyed That We Were Asking Questions About Items As We Based Our Original Order On The Menu Pictured Then Being Given A Smaller Menu To Quickly Pick Items Felt Rushed Entirely. Honestly If We Weren't Meeting Friends My Boyfriend & I Would Have Honestly Just Canceled Out The Whole Order & Left Out As Parking Was Quite Small & Narrow But Since We Had Our Smaller Car We Were Able To Park In It Plus No Lines Just Free Parking. As For Our Drinks One Was A Tea Not Good But Our Strawberry Matcha Was Good As For The Food Came Out Much Smaller Than Expected But Paying Close To 3 Digits For 2 Drinks 3 Sliders Orders Half Dozen Wings & Fries Basket As For Whats Pictured We Weren't Full Afterwards. Needless To Say We Won't Be Coming Back For Food & Just A Drink As Online Reviews Raved About Food & Drinks We Learned For Ourselves To Just Stick To Drinks! The Seating Was Pretty Worn Off Or Damaged But The Place Was Cozy Setting. Also They Have Trivia Thursday Nights @ 7pm Which Was Fun But Definitely People Come Ready To Win As The Prize Is A Gift Card To The Placr

Recommended by my friend who's a regular here! Though limited parking, a spacious coffee shop! Lots of indoor and outdoor seating, perfect for grabbing a quick coffee, doing work, or hanging out with friends/family. They have a pretty large menu of drinks and food items. We tried the specials, the Habibi Latte and Campfire Latte. The Habibi Latte reminds me of the House Latte at Tatte Bakery because of the cardamom, pretty good! I really liked the Campfire latte, which was essentially a mocha, and it came with a torched marshmellow and graham cracker :) Would definitely come back to try their food and other drinks!

I went to Detour Coffee Co. and thought it was a good coffee shop overall. The coffee and matcha were both okay, nothing amazing, but definitely solid. It's the kind of place where you can reliably grab a drink and hang out for a bit. There weren't a ton of super comfortable seats, which is something to keep in mind if you're planning to stay a long time. That said, you could still go there to get some work done or catch up with friends. It has a nice, easygoing vibe that works well for both. Overall, it's a solid spot, probably one of the better coffee shops in Arlington, just not somewhere I'd call exceptional.

WOW! Such a great spot. SO much seating and has such a cool vibe. Some parking out front too. Delicious food, I was so impressed for a coffee shop. They had a really diverse menu that everyone in the group will be bound to find something they like. Food came out hot and delicious. serving sizes were really generous. Coffee drinks were all delicious too! Campfire latte had really fun garnishes and the habibi latte was absolutely phenomenal. Highly recommend. You order at the register so just know it's not full service restaurant, but it's worth it

This is my new favorite coffee shop! The food is sooo good! I love going with my girlfriends because it never disappoints. The coffee is amazing, especially if you don't like when your coffee is too sweet. Everything is flavorful and service is always on point. It does get busy, but the outdoor seating helps especially wish small parties

I ordered the Honey-Dusted Fried Chicken, while my companion had the Mountain Morning Bowl. My chicken was pretty standard for the price point. My companion strongly disliked the grits, saying they tasted like "sewer water," and he didn't finish his bowl. The service was the biggest issue. Our waiter seemed overwhelmed and had difficulty getting back to our table. Even getting ketchup and hot sauce required multiple trips from staff. We decided to cut our visit short and get our meals boxed. My companion never finished his meal. The ambience is cute, with a fun diner feel that fits the menu and price point. I also appreciate that they welcome walk-ins. I'm giving 3 stars because the prices, menu variety, and atmosphere were positives. However, the food was just okay, the service was disappointing, and I probably wouldn't return. Hopefully, this was simply an off day because the restaurant has potential.

When we made the reservation in advance, we called to ask if happy hour was everywhere or just at the bar; they said everywhere, so we booked a table. Plot twist, it's only at the bar / downstairs :))) We arrived 15 minutes early, so while they got our table ready, we ordered at the bar. 5 stars for the bartender. If I could review her, the host, and the happy hour prices in isolation, I would! They moved us upstairs, we sat down, and immediately saw the menus were different. We asked the gentleman bringing waters about happy hour and he sent the waiter over. The waiter, with about 2% helpfulness, shared that happy hour is only downstairs. I mentioned that we had called in advance to ask. We asked if it would be possible to have that menu or perhaps move. The conversation felt like pulling teeth. He said, with much dismissiveness, it was up to the host downstairs to move and if they had availability and left. (Fair, we move, he doesn't get his tip. An alternative? Give us the happy hour menu, still get your tip. Better yet, just be slightly helpful?) The host downstairs found us a table but shared it was booked at 6:15 so we needed to be in and out. It was no problem because we had arrived before 5 (early, remember?). Although, it took 15 minutes (I timed it!) for anyone to come bring waters or address us as their table. A little hard to operate with urgency when no one takes your order!! I got up, told the host stand, and they sent a server over, and he proceeded to come back all of three times. We also had to flag him down to get our check, while we sat with empty waters that were never once refilled. We had pizza, cod sliders, and half orders of aglio e olio pasta. The cod sliders were more breadding than fish, but the flavor was decent. The pasta was delicious. No five star Italian meal, but it hit the spot and the portion was plentiful. I didn't try the pizza but it was 12 inches, piping hot, and the two eating it couldn't finish it. The food came out quickly and hot. I think we spent under or just about $100 for four folks to have dinner + drinks, so the prices are really solid. Perhaps you get what you pay for though? Both of our male servers seemed annoyed to be dealing with us and mostly unhelpful. Noteworthy mention: there was a female server who was kind enough to bring us a brown paper bag for our to go box. She was running around and her tables seemed well cared for. Disappointed in my experience and the customer service.

That thoughtfulness is one of the many reasons I was excited to try it. When we arrived, I was initially concerned after learning that the "G" on the menu indicated dishes **containing** gluten rather than being gluten-free. Since many menu items were marked with a "G," I worried my options would be very limited, especially for the unlimited brunch experience. Thankfully, our server, Emma, immediately put me at ease. She brought me the food allergy menu, answered my questions with patience, and made sure I understood what was safe for me to enjoy. While my husband and I were deciding whether to stay, the manager, Antonio, came to our table after Emma shared my dietary concerns. His kindness completely changed the experience. He took the time to explain my options, offered to have the kitchen modify several dishes, and reassured me that their goal was for me to feel safe and enjoy my meal. Thanks to Emma and Antonio, what started with uncertainty became one of the most enjoyable brunch experiences I've had. I was able to enjoy a variety of delicious dishes, the mimosas were a great value, and the restaurant itself is absolutely beautiful, with floor-to-ceiling windows that fill the space with natural light. I was surprised by how empty it was for a holiday evening, actually just as strange by how vacant and empty the whole area was. This used to be a very busy area. I started with a White Russian milkshake and it was quite good. Again, that happy hour pricing really made it worth it. My meal was the chicken and biscuits. Large biscuits, fresh, with a little honey and hot drizzle. The hash browns were a tad dry and didn't quite fit the meal I thought, but the chicken biscuits were good. Enjoyed those. BUT one point that was quite annoying: THE GRAVY COST EXTRA! The server tried to upsell me with the sausage gravy (+$3) but when I asked if that cost extra he demurred and said it was just something they asked. He wouldn't actually confirm that. Not cool. I don't like being upsold like it's McDonalds. Eating off my friend's plate I also liked the french fries that came with his steak and cheese sandwich. We also had the cornbread appetizer. Again, if not for that happy hour pricing.. Cornbread is uber cheap so getting four fingers of cornbread felt.. well.. not quite a value match. Service was a little hit or miss. We had a lot of people helping us it seemed, kind of a divided table. Everything is there but I'm just not used to the inflation pricing. Milkshake, cornbread, and the chicken and biscuits, with 20% tip, came out to over $40. This kind of food, at this level of service, .. I feel like I was overcharged or not given the happy hour pricing on something. This just didn't feel like $40 for one person. And they want to do everything on the machine and you don't actually get a paper receipt or a bill unless you ask for one. Which you should. I guess bottom line: Ted's is expensive for it's class and offerings, so it makes a good date spot, but for regular eating out I think there are places better priced.

My sister and I visited for her birthday dinner and were excited to try the bottomless dinner experience. Our server was incredibly kind and attentive, and she made sure we were taken care of throughout the meal. Unfortunately, most of the dishes we ordered just didn't hit the mark. Some were overpowering, others lacked flavor, and a few came out soggy. My favorites of the night were the Tuna Crudo and Chicken Tikka Masala. I also made sure to let our server know about my peanut and tree nut allergy. She was very understanding and specifically told us that she would communicate with the kitchen to have the nuts removed from the hummus. Unfortunately, the hummus still came out with nuts on it. Thankfully, I caught it before eating it, but this is definitely an area where better communication between the kitchen and front-of-house staff is needed. Overall, I left feeling pretty underwhelmed by the experience. I think I'd still choose their brunch over their dinner offerings any day. Maybe I just caught them on an off night, but unfortunately, the bottomless dinner wasn't too great.
