I thought being a "certified Mercedes body shop" they wouldn't cut corners. If you go here make sure you get everything in writing and compare the insurance appraisal to the work that was actually done. My insurance paid for a bunch of things that they never replaced or fixed. Stay on top of them ask questions and be in the loop with the insurance adjuster & body shop. They helped me with a very minor problem (broken side mirror) but what was good is they treated me with respect and didn't speak down to me. The place is absolutely spotless and everyone on staff is highly professional and polite. They didn't try nickel-and-diming me. They didn't act like they were world-renowned brain surgeons. They simply said, "Broken mirror? We can fix that for you." Within a matter of minutes they came out with a quote. I brought the car in a few days later - and done. I actually stopped at two other auto repair places before going to Detroit Collision Center. The two other guys started with "well, ya know ..." They are simply the best!! I have seen many good shops in other states but not as good as this. Exceptional service is what i witnessed. Not just professional but good at heart. I realized that from the moment I walked into the shop and interacted with different people starting from receptionist , worker, and manager. My car was hit by some vehicle while it was in parked in my absence. My car is my baby, I have taken a great care of her. But since the moment this incident happened i was restless. I had to replace rear bumper. I called many different shops around providence and I was really intimidated by the quote given to me. Detroit collision just did the job on my car within less than hour. I had brought my own bumper which I found online. They put new bumper on my car. They didn't even charge for it where other shops are charging crazy price. I was totally stranger to them but with the service they provided I am confident to recommend anyone to trust them. They will really take care of your issue and not just that but will make sure you are happy. i am really happy that I found them. In today's world its rare to find these kind of people. In future if I have any issue I will certainly go to Detroit collision center only. Joe at Detroit Collision was personable, honest and not least of of all.. the team repaired my car perfectly- it was better than before the collision. My car was a mess-- even with 3 years of use on the inside and with a huge dent in the door and the car was returned good as new, with a sparkle.
