He's a fast talker- definitely not the kind to hold your hand and take his time. But I don't mean that in a bad way. He's kind of like a hummingbird. He knows his stuff, he gets to the point, and he's gone. He's also brutally honest. The whole staff is. I've mentioned wanting new glasses and he's told me he will have the prescription ready to go for me and he "doesn't care" of I buy my glasses there. He seems more interested in taking care of your vision than selling you stuff. He's also told me my prescription didn't change enough for me to NEED new ones but I could get them if I wanted. Phil, the contacts guy (I've only ever spoken to him about contacts) is funny, personable, and again, honest. I have the same prescription in each eye but don't wear contacts regularly. He sold me one box. Just one not a bunch. Not that standard year supply that costs a couple hundred and you must get all 23 boxes in order to be eligible for the $5 rebate. Just one and said based on my use it should last me 6 months. He also sold me a brand of contacts that I've never heard of but after he listened to my comments and concerns knew exactly what to recommend. And he was right. Love my contacts. Staff is friendly and courteous. Never had any billing issues. I bought my frames online and brought them in and they put basic lenses in for me. Again the honesty; the frames lady asked if I wanted regular lenses or "all the extra stuff that just makes them more expensive" lol Okay then. Turn around time was about a week as they had to be sent out. Dr. Fritz was the only one to diagnose my repetitive bouts of pink eye as being related to my seasonal allergies and not poo particles in my ocular cavity. Also, they are not kidding when they tell you to call them when you arrive with pink eye. Call from the car, someone comes out opens all doors and takes you straight to a room. Slightly disconcerting but I appreciate the thoroughness. Means they're doing it with everyone else too. I'd rather wait a week and get knowledgable, honest service than be sold a ton of stuff I don't need just to get my glasses in an hour.

For as long as I have a worked in the medical field and have been a patient I have never experienced a doctor's office That refused to do their job. Such as; 1. The medical assistant and Dr. Beth Ann Svetland failed to provide basic and accurate documentation of my chief complaint and current symptoms during my initial and follow-up appointments. The lack of documentation later prevented my Workmans Comp claim to be approved. 2. The front desk kept ignoring my requests to call and confirm that my insurance was in network, and demanded that I pay the out of network costs, otherwise I wouldn't be seen by the doctor. My insurance was finally confirmed to be in network. 3. The back office refused to follow the instructions on the back of my insurance card, to call or go to the appropriate website to submit my prior authorization. I was out of my medication for almost 3 months, delaying the treatment for my recently diagnosed severe eye condition. 4. The manager simply covered up for her staff by lying about the progress of my prior authorization, aggreeing to charge me based off of my explanation of benefits while refusing to bill my insurance first. She defended their inappropriate behavior and showed absolutely no empathy towards my situation. A couple of weeks later I came into the office asking to speak with Dr. Svetland and the medical assistant who I initially saw, and about 4 more times again during my treatment. Since they failed to document any of complaints and symptoms until about the 4th visit, I wanted to see if they could recall any of the information that I gave them during my earlier appointments. As without any of that documentation my Workmen's Comp. claim would be denied. She stated the medical assistant no longer worked there, and that her previous notes could not be amended. Her solution was for me to see another doctor and "throw her underneath the bus" for not doing her job. 1 week later, during the middle of my treatment, I received a letter from Dr. Svetland. It said that she would no longer be my physician because "there are significant philosophical differences in our views of medical care and treatment. To make a long story short, I have been abandoned by my doctor in the middle of treatment for a serious eye condition. My upcoming appointments have been cancelled and I can only be seen for emergencies. They are refusing to complete any of the requested forms from Workman's comp, and I have been given barely a month to find another doctor. If this is what they consider quality patient care, then we have a problem! I can't be the only patient that has been neglected and tossed aside due to insufficient amount of staffing. I guess we shall soon find out!!!

As soon as we walked in, amazingly Mya remembered us from last time that long ago. She gave us excellent service and attention, cleaning and adjusting our existing glasses as well as helping to pick out new frames that were very fashionable and affordable. We really value her opinion! Doc was great as always and very informative of their new state of the art digital technology. As he says, the only time he needs a pen throughout the whole visit is for clients to sign form regarding additional testing options. We wont ever go anywhere else for our glasses/exams.

Im been a Pearl Vision customer for many years and today I can say I won't be back. It took 4…read moremonths for them to get my contacts order correct and they still want me to pay for them when everything was paid from the beginning. During the 4 month of waiting for my contacts I was calling them once a week as they keep saying that the contacts should be arriving soon and that they will give me a call within the 24 hours to provide an update on my order. They won't keep they promise and never call me back and when I asked for the credit for the old contacts now they just act like this is not going to happen and they don't need to give this credit but wants to take my old contacts back as they are not expired and intact. Very disappointed of them I used to love Pearl Vision but is time to move on.
