This place is amazing with what they offer. My favorite is the cracklins! Highly recommend. Little pricey but worth every penny. I don't live close at all but I occasionally travel through the area. This place is smaller than Best Stop. But they have much better cracklin's. I would give them 5 stars, but I went to the drive through once and what I got was a bag of hard crumbs.... I could not believe they scraped that into a bag and sold it to me. I couldn't see what I was getting because it was the drive through and I haven't used the drive through since. I probably should have returned them. I always go inside so I can see what I am getting. I can park right up front and it is a quick in and out. The original boudin is a bit spicy, so unless you like it very hot, I would stay away from the spicy boudin. But the boudin is good, we still prefer getting DJ's at the store - not quite as spicy. But I go here for the cracklin's. read more

One of our favorites for Boudain & cracking. Great sausage selection, variety. Many types of smoked but fresh available as well. My favorite is their meat pies. Frozen or fried up fresh in the deli. It's inside a convenience store but there are a few tables. It's a service line. read more

Boudain balls, chicken cracklings and pork cracklings were excellent. The Boudain balls were mostly meat with just a bit of rice. I'm trying other stuff that must be cooked tonight for dinner. This is definetly one of those places you have to stop by every week if you can. The cracklins are super tasty and food is always fresh.

They got some bomb fried ribs. Plus they have a huge selection in their frozen section as well check them out. I've always liked pretty much everything in their hot bar. I would go get some ribs. Go home and eat them with my own side of I would purchase one of the frozen sides go home and warm them. So so good. read more

This place blew me away. Great variety of sausage and boudin. All made on the premises. Hot boudin and cracklins are available at the counter. The boudin is exceptional. Very clean and the prices are right! Lots of creole foods to choose from. I'll stop there every time I'm out that way. read more

FYI, the mapped location for this in Yelp is incorrect. It is on the corner of FM3180 and FM2354. Google maps has it in the right spot. Stopped to get gas (Deviller's is connected to a gas station) and was surprised to find such an awesome place to buy Cajun meats. They have the best cracklins I have had in Texas. Nice chunks of pork belly, not just the fat. These will melt in your mouth. They sell a large variety of fresh meats including boudin, sausage, stuffed chicken/pork chops. I didn't see any andouille, but could have missed it. I grabbed some sausage and boudin. Tried some boudin when I got home and it was excellent. First, Yelp driving directions took me to the wrong place about 3 miles away. After I searched on Google maps for this location I was directed without a problem. Located a short drive south of I-10. It's a very new and clean location. The staff greeted me when I came in the store and they had a large selection of frozen take home specialty meats. They also have hot food such as Boudin balls and fresh Cracklings. Boudin balls are of a good size and I tried three varieties two of each tasted great. (6 total I'm stuffed) I also took home one stuffed chicken, 1/4 lb. of cracklings, three six packs of frozen Boudin balls, one large link of regular Boudin and one link of crawfish Boudin all for under $90. My wife will be the real judge when I get this food home. I may add or remove a star depending on her reaction. read more

First time stopping in. Had a crawfish pie, fried pork rib and chicken crackling. They were all excellent! Plus they have a great selection of food in the cooler to take home! The boudin trail has stretched into Texas. Some of the best cracklings I have had in a long time. A variety of boudin balls, all excellent, boudin wraps- think of a boudin egg roll, and tons of take home and cook food, including many flavors of sausage, boudin, and fancy stuffed pork chops and chicken. What a great place! Was greeted upon entering and the owner showed us their selection of choices. So many items to choose from. I could have literally bought one of everything! My rating is based on my preferred boudain, I like it ground not shredded and I was not impressed with their meat pie, as I found them lacking flavor, their boudain wraps were not good for the price. Just being honest. I have had some straight from Louisiana and from the Houston area. read more
