Pros of having your wedding here: -Amazing patient, efficient, and helpful employees. Taren was awesome as were our two bartenders, servers, manager, and chef. They made a stressful day go smoothly -High quality food with ample options -Good alcohol selection -More affordable than other local and similar venues -Option to golf before the wedding. The groomsmen, pastor, and some family golfed the morning of the wedding then changed in the locker rooms before first looks and pictures. -Large sales center to use for bridal party make-up, hair, changing, etc. Multiple tables and chairs, long counter, microwave, and fridge. Bathrooms down the hall. Sales center can be locked during the wedding if desired to leave things and pick them up after the wedding. -The venue has an event planner, Taren, that will walk you through all the steps and decisions. She is also present during the event to direct and assist as needed Cons of having your wedding here: -The venue is not closed to members and may have other events going on during the wedding (but not in the same area). The sales center is reserved for the wedding party and the clubhouse for the event -Best for smaller guest lists -Clothing racks need to be taller to keep the dresses off the floor -No outside caterers, however, why would you want to use an outside caterer when the food here is so good?? -Challenging golf course, best for experienced golfers -Placecards at the table made by the venue were way too large. Should have been 2x3.5 inches. Plus several names were misspelled, including the groom's name. Honestly it was more funny than anything else and I don't know who submitted the guest list Overall, we had a positive experience using this club as a wedding venue. I am not a member so cannot speak about that aspect.

So essentially, the decision was based purely on assumption. To clarify, we didn't see them go to anyone else's table to do this. Mind you, we are people of color who were just trying to have a good time. We had to leave only 40mins into the game, ruining our nights and they did nothing to make things right. I looked over the course and it is too challenging for my golf skills. There is a high degree of elevation and the ball wants to follow gravity. If I were a better golfer, I would say that it's worth the challenge.
