    large selection of KD sunglasses
    Jay P.

Head-shop, Local History, Biker Paraphernalia, and scattered antiques. The Devils Workshop has been a Niles staple since 1969 and is still family-operated, it is an absolute time-capsule that is worth visiting. Because of the diversity of whats inside here are mini-summaries: -Headshop: Hand-held and larger glass pieces. Pretty large selection of incense and even bundles of Sage and Juniper for spiritual cleansing. They make their own branded incense which is bad-ass in all black and has a slight sweet smell. They have a large selection of CDB for you and your pets. -Motorcycle Culture: Inside right they have leathers and gear and a sub-lease for a a gentleman that does custom leather. Throughout the shop you'll find plenty of Biking Culture accessories... Notable is they carry a huge selection of KD brand sunglasses the cheap sunglasses made famous by ZZ top and Sons of Anarchy. I bought a pair, the legs are thinner than normal and easier to put on and off when helmet is on. -Local History: Bill was working the day I went in and knows a lot about local history. They have a wall of prints by Chris Walsh who has painted some nostalgic buildings locally. I liked hearing about the tinfoil ceiling his dad put up near the entrance and the shops origins as a candle shop. -Antiques: I don't think these are for sale but a preview is the classic wood indian outside. Inside you'll find scattered antiques that were cool to see: an old mirror for trying on your sunglasses, a gas pump near the t-shirts, penny-farthing bicycle when you walk in. etc.... The hours are odd from family schedules but they plan on keeping weekend hours till things stabilize.

Cool shop. Friendly service. Lots of interesting items to browse. I bought a 1950's-era Westinghouse fan.

Possibly the oddest shop you'd find in Fremont but then it's in the Niles district so there you go.

On the topic of paraphernalia; rather unfortunately & regrettably I cannot partake in cannabis until I retire from work. (6yrs, 7mos, 14 days - not like I'm counting or anything. LOL) They have any & every kind of vaporizer, bong, pipe, dab, rolling papers, blunt wraps. I mean they have IT ALL. In other words, excellent selection and rather large inventory. The pricing is VERY fair and reasonable, one of the reasons why I've remained a customer for years. Even present-day in our "YUGE" economy that is allegedly so great (it's not) and prices are supposed to be going down (they're not) - High Tech Head Shop keeps prices really reasonable. The customer service - top notch, always has been. It's usually one of two guys, been the same two guys for a number of years. They're both super helpful, really knowledgeable about the various products. I usually chat with the guys when I'm in there, because they're both hella cool & seem very much invested & genuinely interested in seeing to their customers needs/wants. Don't waste your time at ratchet smoke shops. Come to this place for all your vices!!

As someone who deeply values community and personal wellness, I was blown away by the level of compassion and expertise they bring to their tech headshop. They are incredibly knowledgeable and go out of their way to ensure you're getting exactly what you need. They carry a great variety of wellness products, and their pricing on these important items is some of the most competitive I've seen. It is clear that Cameron and Sam are in this to support their customers and uplift the community, rather than just making a quick buck. If you appreciate a fantastic selection, fair prices, and owners who treat you like a neighbor, this is absolutely the place to go.

Jim B., not sure if you are still in charge but whom ever is, I'd like you to know how your store is doing. Walking in, two guys were behind the counter and a half eaten sandwich from Subway I think, with the paper spread out over the glass counter top, covering the merchandise and droppings of lettuce all over the paper. Not very attractive walking into any business. Went into the walk-in humidor and one guy decided to go in after me to start "adjusting" the temperature settings. OK? I guess you can't figure that out when you open the store for the day?... He asks if I need help. I say nope. So he still stays there adjusting settings. I'm annoyed because one, he's standing in front of the cigars I want to look at and two, he's monitoring ME. So I guess the huge sign on the door saying, "YOUR ON CAMERA" and the obvious security camera pointing at the door isn't enough security. So I inch over to the other side of the room. He's still in there. (the walk in humidor is as small as a two piece bathroom). He finally leaves and leaves the door wide-open and stands directly in front of the door watching me. So I guess this guy is "security of the cigars." And after all the messing around with your settings, now you leave the door wide open to let all the heat out! Yeah, I'm not stupid. So we go back in the next day and guess what? There's a box of Little Caesars pizza wide-open on the counter top with half eaten pizza. Get it together.

I emailed Ohlone Cigar and explained my situation. Jeb replied back with the most welcoming response. He told me to give him a time I wanted to stop by and he would accommodate his shop for my party. Dont forget the Whiskey! The day of, we arrived in a party bus, full from a Brazilian steakhouse lunch in Frisco. Nothing else sounds better than a cigar and glass of Whiskey! Once we arrive, Jeb greets us at the front door. He introduces himself and guides us to the back, where he reserved a nice area for my group. For majority of us, this was our first time. Jeb and his team brought out a bucket of ice and 10 glasses for our Whiskey! They brought us back in groups and really took the time to explain the types and styles of cigars, and what would match best with our bottle of Hibiki. Not only that, the Groom had a cigar on the house! Jeb and his team really made us feel welcome from the start of the email, to us walking out with extra cigars and accessories we purchased. You guys made our day! Thank you for the hospitality and great service! If you guys or gals need a bachelor stop, this is the place!
