Only got $16 back but it's better than nothing. If you're looking for a recycling center, going here is your best bet. Their prices are better than their competitors and they're organized/clean.

Workers always pick up your bins for you when you're done putting your recycling in as well and receiving your payment is quick and easy via check. Some say you lose more money by turning in recycling by weight instead of per bottle but those like me who just need to recycle and get out right away, this is your place for good value in experience while doing a tedious task. Workers deserve a raise. They work hard to make the process go as smooth as possible for all customers. Thank you for all your help. Let's start at the beginning, there was a LOT FULL sign at the entrance, not blocking at all & I saw no attendant there bringing cars in from other lot or anything so I wasn't going to trust that, I slowly pulled in & surprisingly found ONE singular spot open right in front! I wasn't sure if it was a walkway to the front but the line wrapped around the next 3-4 spots so I knew I wouldn't be in any way. I got all my recycling in the first two wired bins I could snag near me, it wasn't until I was in line that I noticed a small sign, not even near the empty cans, that described what materials they wanted placed in specific bins. (There's wired & blue plastic ones) I don't believe I followed what they wanted exactly but they still took my materials! So that's good. I had a broken beaker in my glass & mentioned it to the gentleman doing the weighing & he told me they'd take it I'm fine! I watched as he weighed out my minimal amount of materials & then wrote me out a receipt of sorts. I got to the front, the lady on the right took my clipboard & then said the lady on the left will give me my cash. NOW, I had read Yelp reviews on this place before going & a person said a lady fitting this one's description had jipped her $10 ! Off of a $65 total! Insane! So I made sure to check my money before even turning around to leave, I could tell my amount was $11 & I flipped up the 10 & said politely, "this is only $10, I'm supposed to have $11?" She got flustered & apologized while digging out another dollar for me. I'm glad I read reviews bc I might've walked off & got in my car before realizing, then probably would've been too scared to say something! So that lady being a serial jipper & the state of the parking lot, potholes & no attendant are the reasons for stars knocked off! Vaca Recycling seemed to be V Town's preferred recycling center, so, I thought today would be the day to see why. The staff are courteous and stayed busy weighing recyclables and returning the emptied bins to the area for customers to grab as they arrived. It was fast, easy, and painless. I didn't even have to show ID! (Only required on sales over $100). I was given a receipt in no time and I walked a short distance to redeem my cash from the convenient store in the same lot. The parking lot is small. But, not somewhere I couldn't maneuver through. Vaca Recycling is located on E. Monte Vista and Callen Road. It shares a parking lot with a gas station (Pemex? ..I believe it's called) I'll come back again when I have another load of recycles to unload :)

The following is translated from Spanish: My dad simply asked to borrow a broom, to which Nicholas said: "Oh, you don't have one? Why even come if you don't have one?" My dad: "Well, then let me rent it from you." Nicholas: "If you have money to rent one, why don't you just buy one?" He never ended up letting my dad borrow it, he just keeping talking as he walked away. My dad then proceeded to ask another worker for a broom who let him borrow it with no hesitation. This is entirely unacceptable and terrible customer service.

I recently found this laundromat which I loved. I have now been there twice, the first time was an…read moreamazing experience, the guy working was incredibly helpful and kind. This next time was fine too but, I noticed I was charged $63.00 to do two loads of laundry and use one drier. I was not comfortable with that and figured it was a simple mistake. I called wash n dry to try to figure out what happened especially because this mistake is now preventing me from getting groceries for the week. The woman on the phone because extremely frustrated with me and GENUINELY STARTED YELLING AT ME THAT I WASNT LISTENING TO A WORD SHE WAS SAYING AND HUNG UP ON ME. I find this to be wild and incredibly unprofessional. I asked her what her name was and she yelled "IT DOESNT MATTER WHAT MY NAME IS" ok. I'm pretty sure you're the lady in the wheelchair but alright. So, to say the least I absolutely will NOT be returning to this laundromat. (Mind you I was impressed to see a handwritten card from the business owner and thought wow I definitely love this place what a warm touch, then get yelled at by a staff like literally two days later because I'm stressed on the phone trying to figure out why two loads of laundry cost me $63) It seems like the owner is a really genuine person and I have a strong feeling if he heard the way I was spoken to by someone representing his business he would be extremely disappointed.
