Carl, however, truly took the time in providing options and information to take the stress out of buying my new car.

In the meantime, she's racked up over $1000 in rental car fees. It has been an absolute nightmare dealing with EB, since their call wait times are consistently 45+ minutes. After weeks of daily calls back and forth, between EB and Devoe, trying to move things along, I finally spoke with Victor, the service manager at DeVoe. I have no idea what he said to EB, but within about 4 hours, the claim was approved and my mother was given a loaner. I am EXTREMELY grateful to Victor, and the entire DeVoe team (all the way up to John, the GM), for their assistance, as this was not an easy process. (And towards the end here, I wasn't the easiest to deal with... This girl loves her mama!) Hopefully, service itself will run as smoothly, if not better... Victor definitely restored my loyalty as a customer of DeVoe's - which, by the way, is where I bought my own vehicle. Thank you, Victor.

My Experience with DeVoe Buick GMC…read more I live in Columbus, Ohio, and purchased a 2021 Toyota Venza from DeVoe Buick GMC in Naples, Florida, on May 1, 2026, for about $18,000 out-the-door, including a $13,000 GM Financial loan. Before signing, I specifically requested no early-payoff penalty because I planned to pay off the loan early. Yet the contract incorrectly showed $13,698.50 instead of $13,000 and included a $75 prepayment fee. I immediately asked them to correct both errors. I was told that correcting the contract would delay the transaction, so I was asked to sign it as written and was assured that the amounts would be reimbursed. They provided a written "WE OWE" commitment confirming this. The $698.50 was eventually refunded; the promised $75 was not. Before purchasing, I also arranged an independent inspection. The dealership promised that its lift would be available to the inspectors at an agreed time. The inspectors arrived and waited, but the lift was ultimately not provided, limiting their inspection. I paid off the loan 29 days after signing, yet received the registration paperwork only 32 days after the purchase. I immediately had questions about two documents and repeatedly contacted the dealership, but received no response for six days. Another employee eventually helped me, and I signed and returned everything by overnight mail the same day. Then came the temporary-tag problem. A week before my tag expired, the dealership told me a new one would be obtained and sent. As the expiration approached, however, my calls, voicemails, and emails went unanswered. With only hours remaining and no idea whether the promised tag had even been obtained or mailed, I had to go to the Ohio BMV myself and pay $24.75 for another temporary tag. The dealership then sent me the wrong VIN inspection form. The Ohio BMV officer identified the error, completed and signed the correct Ohio Out-of-State Motor Vehicle Inspection form, and I then sent the completed form to the dealership that same day. I eventually contacted General Manager John Shepherd about the delays and lack of communication. He apologized, reviewed the file, and confirmed that the paperwork had finally been submitted to the Ohio BMV. The registration was completed on July 15, and my permanent plate arrived on July 16--76 days after my purchase. Yet despite the written commitment, the dealership still has not reimbursed the $75 prepayment fee or the $24.75 temporary-tag expense, for which I provided the receipt. I then contacted GM Customer Care (Case #107097050), and GM formally submitted a dealership complaint to DeVoe Buick GMC. Still, I have received neither the $99.75 owed to me nor a response resolving the matter. After 76 days, repeated unanswered attempts to communicate, incorrect paperwork, unnecessary delays, wasted time, uncertainty, and out-of-pocket expenses, my request is remarkably simple: honor the written commitment and reimburse my $99.75. I am sharing this experience so prospective customers can consider not only the vehicle, but also the dealership's communication, accuracy, follow-through, and treatment of customer concerns after the sale. I sincerely hope this small outstanding matter can finally be resolved promptly and amicably.

Arlington helped us with some pre-owned or used vehicle options. We had looked at their inventory online so had an idea of what we wanted to see. The Palisade has same body type as the Kia Telluride as Hyundai owns Kia. Palisade is more spacious. Oh man, loooooooove the new Santa Fe body which looks like the new Telluride body type. Boxier and more rugged. Don't even get me started on the MATTE FINISH!!! Any car in matte finish is a so BADASS!!! It was nice to see our options, sit in the cars, hear about the different features each level offers. Arlington was wonderful, patient and so helpful. Very down to earth and doesn't act like your typical car salesman. Haha. Sorry but it's true. Thanks Arlington for your help. We're still scoping out options before making a final decision. Just because the car fax is perfect don't be fooled by 1st impressions. 2) Make sure you have 2 car fobs or at least one ordered in writing before you close on the deal. I test drove the 2019 Xt5 in the rain so I didn't see how badly scuffed up the paint was . They should of at least detailed it with a ceramic finish by a 6 inch wheel.I was blinded by the carfax and the low miles . 39.950 . Here's a Pic after I spent 6 hours on it detailing it myself . Basically I closed on the deal . I was promised a second fob by the sale rep Elleen. This never happened. She wouldn't return my phone calls . She missed out on a 70.000 sale from my brother for a new Jeep Rubicon. How could you be this irresponsible. Dealerships make fobs for $200. She could of paid for it herself to keep my family's business. I could go on but Its not worth my time Buyer beware. Just another bad experience with poorly trained non professional in Naples . Naples management needs to read these reviews to correct the sales teams for future business. They should contact me and apologize for starters . Offer to send me a new fob .

Update -you can read the dealer's response underneath my review and they said "I inquired about…read moreadditional models and chose the HRV" Another blatant lie. They're trying to rewrite the script. #NoRemorse #DailyEvents #WeNeedToGetSmarter. I had been texting and speaking on the phone with salesman Kahj about a white CRV. He even sent me a lease breakdown in writing -- and not once did we ever discuss an HRV. I was very clear that I wanted a CRV. When I arrived at the dealership, the first car they showed me was extremely basic -- it even had a hand pump to raise the seat! I said, "Forget it," so they brought out another car. I liked that one and agreed to purchase it, believing it was a CRV. At no point did Kahj ever say the word "HRV." I'm not a car expert, so I didn't know the difference. Based on our texts and phone calls, I fully believed I was buying a CRV. It wasn't until I was sitting down to sign the paperwork that I noticed it said HRV. I stopped and said, "Wait a minute -- this says HRV! I thought I was buying a CRV!" Kahj's response? "Oh, it's only two inches smaller -- almost the same car." I should have walked out right then and there. No excuse -- I was just shocked, the process was moving fast, and I went along with it. #PeoplePleaserMoment When I got home, I reviewed all the texts and called my brother, who immediately said, "That's bait and switch." I texted Kahj and called Anthony, the finance manager -- but conveniently, he was "not in," even though I had just seen him ten minutes earlier. I told them I would not accept the car they were trying to deliver. I plan to speak with the general manager on Monday -- and then I'm going to shout it from the mountain tops: Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else. Especially if you're a single female -- sadly, this kind of thing still happens in this day and age. That salesman knew he never showed me or told me it was an HRV. Anyone can look at our text exchange and see why I believed I buying a CRV. Now he claims he "mentioned the HRV trim" -- maybe he did, but I never heard it.
