Thank god...finally another restaurant near me that has BOTH gluten free and vegan cheese! I ordered a gluten free pizza with vegan cheese because I'm dairy free. It's looked like it was going to be dry but it had a ton of flavor and wasn't dry at all! I love that it wasn't over cooked or over crispy(as some gluten free crusts can be). It was about average price. I'm also glad they stay open till 10. We need more restaurants in SoHa that stay open late. read more

Did curb side pick up last night (the after 4:00 pm option in St Charles). They have designated parking spots, you text and let them know you are there and they bring your food out. Very nice. Last night I opted for a half/half: did the Porky Fig and the southwest BBQ Chicken. The Porky Fig is one of my favorite, last night the blue cheese was a little extra blue and melted -- making interesting globs on the pizza. It was my first time to try the southwest BBQ chicken, it was good and will probably order again. Next time I will look for an option to make it a little more crispy, dough had no form at all. Like my crust a little more done. Great place, several options around the STL area. Their salads and calzones are also worth a try if you want something other than pizza. read more

We went today at open, had the WORST SERVICE EVER!!! The "shared" service the staff is "supposed" to do is a TERRIBLE concept! We had 1 server take our order and bring us our drinks and then she brought us our food and we NEVER SAW her again.. we sat for so long with empty drinks after our food arrived and we finally flagged someone down and THEN we sat FOREVER waiting on someone to bring a check and box for our food. NO ONE ever asked how are meal was or checked in to see if we needed anything else. Only at the end of the service when I complained to the girl about how AWFUL or experience was and how awful the service is, did she tell me they have "shared" service. This is awful for the customers and for the servers. Because I'm not leaving a tip or a good tip for the worst service in the world. So that's not fair to the servers. And it's awful for the customers because we don't get waited on like we should. If the servers had there own sections or rotation on tables and they were there tables only then maybe the customers would get the attention they deserve. Instead of the servers just standing behind the counter and looking around at the tables assuming they have already been taken care of by someone else.. On top of everything our pizza wasn't the best and since we had no service we just ate it . So this just makes our family not want to go back unfortunately read more

We have eaten at Dewey's a number of times but this was our first visit to this location. The streets of St Charles has a lot of restaurants so parking can be challenging. We arrived early so we were seated quickly. The staff are extremely friendly and customer focused. Our food came out promptly. First the salads then the pizzas. The Harvest Salad was delicious. Field greens, pumpkin seeds, bacon, Boursin with an apple cider vinaigrette. The pizzas were all ready at the same time. We tried the Socrates for the first time. A creative blend of olive, spinach, feta, fontina, red onion and tomato. Also the Meatball Pizza. They offer very good gluten free pizza which made the gf members of the family happy. read more

This was my first time at Dewey's and my experience was exceptional. The crew here works extremely well together. They make sure their patrons are receiving excellent service without worrying about who was assigned to the table. The bartender came over to give me a refill because she noticed I needed one. The server came over at least 5 times so far. The crust they make for their pizza has to be handmade, it is light and crispy. Hands down the best crust I have ever had.
