Great American restaurant in a spacious setting with large portions. I ordered the Chicken Parmesan ($18.79), which came with a typical chicken parm in addition to a bunch of cheesy linguine and garlic bread on the side. I can't imagine how someone could eat all that in one sitting, but it was definitely great value for the price. The chicken parm was tasty, although the linguine was just average in quality. The restaurant itself is very large with lots of seating and a parking lot in front. Our waitress was super friendly and attentive. The service speed was also fairly quick. The vibes are very casual/chill inside. Overall, Dewey's is a very solid choice for American food in Moab, especially if you are hungry for a large portion. read more

Went to Moab for Jeep week with the boys. Amazing little town. This place looked great. Clean to the eye, walked in and got sat no problem during dinner rush. Menu had some great options. Ordered a drink and man was it tasty. We're all on board. Appetizers came out. Checked all the boxes. Super tasty. I ended up ordering the meatloaf as it was noted to be a menu favorite. Wasn't the most appealing plate when it arrived but I had nothing to eat all day and was hungry so it did its job. Went home to rest up for the next day only to wake up at 2am, then 3am, then 4am full bore evacuation, fire hosing our air bnb bathroom. For the next 24hrs me and the porcelain became great friends Somebody needs to go into this chef's walk in and peep meat before someone else gets it. I was totally not expecting Dewey's to be this good! My boyfriend and I popped in after a long day of hiking which I'm sure is common for most people given the proximity to the two national parks and the state park just outside of town. The restaurant is really large, spacious, and felt very bright. We were greeted quickly upon walking in and informed that the bar was self-seating and to help ourselves. Our server was incredibly friendly and everything we ordered came out pretty quick. Prices were more than reasonable, especially considering how much of their business I'm sure is from tourists. I had the shrimp alfredo which was really delicious, al dente, and a generous portion with two slices of garlic bread that were tasty. My shrimp was also not overcooked. My boyfriend had a chicken sandwich and onion rings both of which he raved about. Our cocktails were also pretty good and super affordable. Burger more popular but trout more dinner portion we were told. I chose the trout. Was a little apprehensive as wasn't sure it would be good. But it was actually cooked well. Fish moist on the inside and crunchy outside. I chose to have the house made Dijon mustard cream sauce on the side and that made the difference to me. I don't like a lot of sauce on my food so it helped me be able to regulate it. The baked potato didn't come with anything so I asked the hostess for some butter. The veggies were nice and light. His shrimp tacos had too much red cabbage and the rice was meh. Dry and not much taste to it. But it wasn't bad. Restroom was clean but small stall. Hard to maneuver in it. Server was nice. Great food, great service! Local spot. Came here for dinner one night and had a very nice experience. We were trying to avoid all the tourist traps in town and saw this one is more of a local spot. We got lucky and came on a Thursday and it was $9 burgers Thursdays, so we got burgers with soup and onion rings. The food was good portion size and tasted fresh. We recently visited Dewey's restaurant for a quick bite to eat just before the dinner rush arrived. We were greeted with a friendly smile and quickly seated by the hostess as soon as we entered. Service was pretty prompt as we ordered drinks and food fairly quickly. We just needed a small bite so we ordered a few items to share: Cajun dusted fries, pistachio chicken and blackened blue burger. The portions were generously sized so we're glad we planned to share. Unfortunately, some of our photos didn't come out so we only have a burger photo to share. Our food was tasty and hot which we also appreciated. The dining room wasn't fancy but it was warm and welcoming which was exactly what we needed that night. They probably stay in business because so many patrons are visitors to Moab and don't know better. I ate nothing memorable, but it wasn't absolutely gross either. It was also pretty disappointing because the previous night, we'd eaten an outstanding meal at Thai Bella. The experience at Dewey's was a substantial step down and I wouldn't recommend.
