Woke this morning craving a cinnamon roll, did a thorough on line search, Dey's came in with a high four star review so I gave it a try. I selected a cinnamon crumb topped cinnamon roll. It was ultra fresh and tasted very well made, the only drawback for me was it didn't have much if any cinnamon inside. Maybe a crumb topped isn't made with cinnamon inside, I don't know. Next time I will try a regular cinnamon roll. There was a steady flow of customers coming and going, I was greeted and helped the moment I walked in. The inside of the shop is very clean and the donuts are nicely displayed behind clean glass cases. We live closer to another donut shop but Dey's is worth the extra few miles drive. read more

On a whim, I decided to grab donuts from Dey's. The Yelp reviews swayed me over this donut shop versus going to ones I've tried previously. I arrived at 10ish am and was a bit disappointed that the store had barely any donuts left. I told myself that this is a good sign coz they were almost out of donuts already. None of my faves were available so I chose this cinnamon twist bar. This donut was $1.85 but I didn't wanna leave empty handed so I got one. The first bite wasn't that great coz the dough was a bit underbaked; it was oily, gummy, and wet. I had another bite and it was still the same. I then tossed the rest of it and figure it was a $1.85 mistake I'm not making again. Sadly, today's donut buy wasn't as I hoped. I decided to grab donuts for my coworkers this morning, since it's close to Christmas and many people are already taking off for the holiday. We usually buy or bake treats and share them, so I decided on the donuts since it had been awhile since we had them. I was going into work super early, so I was happy to see that at 5:30am, they were open and the trays were full of donuts, croissants, and other bready goodness! They immediately greeted me upon walking in and I chose a dozen assorted donuts. I also ordered the Ham, bacon, and cheese croissant and let me tell you...that damn thing was better than I thought it would be! The bread alone made me want to squeal in delight! It was so moist and flaky, yet oooey gooey on the inside. Well worth the $4.75! In fact, I'm thinking of stopping in tomorrow morning, again! When I left, they thanked me for coming in and told me to have a happy holiday, if they don't see me soon...yeah, you guys will for sure see me tomorrow with that level of customer service! They have piping hot coffee, hot chocolate, and other drinks. They serve lunch sandwiches, as well as breakfast sandwiches and you can choose between a bagel or a croissant. When I got my sandwich , I noticed that they had stuck a donut hole in the bag! How cute! And that donut hole was so good! Fresh and also oooey gooey! I always get the ham and cheese with jalapeno, and it never disappoints. They always warm up the croissant and it always has that little kick of spice that wakes you up in the morning. Inside is cheesy and flakey, and has the jalapeno throughout the croissant. Highly recommend. read more

I drive by all the time but this morning was my first time stopping inside. My kid and I were greeted with friendly smiles behind the counter. There was an abundant selection of fresh donuts. We chose simple classics, one chocolate bar, one glazed donut and a dozen mixed donuts holes. When I went to pay, I realized I didn't have my wallet on me. So I let my kid wait inside where it was warm while I stepped outside to check the car. No wallet. Ugh! Fortunately, on my way back in, I noticed the sticker on the window displaying "Tap Pay Preferred". I didn't see that when we first walked in. The nice young lady helping us confirmed I could mobile pay so I tapped my phone and we were on our way with the goods. As we were driving home, my son mentioned the young woman gave him a donut hole while I was checking the car. I thought that was very kind of her to do. We devoured half the donut holes on the drive home and the rest at home. This chocolate bar is honestly the best one I've had! The chocolate actually tastes like chocolate, not that fake chocolate icing some places use. We will be back for both the donuts and the kindness. read more

I get it, it is expensive in california , And the cost of doing business as a small restaurant, it's very difficult but and a very BIG but ,, If you're going to serve the absolute cheapest quality food available and still charge the high rates, then be greedy with the ingredients or the side Condiments .. the customers are going to notice and not want to return when there is plenty of competition out there, serving much better tasting food for pennies on the dollar more ! If I'm gonna be honest, I think the $4,50 prefab sandwich made at walmart is twice as big and much tastier you get 2 eggs, 2 slices of ham, tomatoes, lettuce, and very tasty condiments on texas size toast , whereas your sandwich was one egg and 1 slice of ham on very small, white toast with absolutely no condiments that was kind of rubbery like it was very, very cheap in quality for $6,50 !!!!???? $7,00 if you use card , hopefully You can do better for your customers! First time being in the actual store! My friend usually picks up some morning treats for me on her way to the office. The no fail cheese, sausage and egg croissant will give you that good round of protein to start your morning. It is massive. I like to cut mine in half and eat the remainder for lunch. Today is the first time I step foot into this store. Cute little place. Very similar layout to other donut shops. It is run my an older Asian couple. The wife was very quick to greet us the moment we came inside even though there were a bunch of others already inside and she was in the middle of helping them. I ordered a low fat blue berry muffin, tuna croissant, large STRAWBERRY smoothie and 2 scratchers. The only thing she messed up with my order is smoothie. She gave me strawberry banana instead. I don't love the taste of it but it is still drinkable and since we were in a hurry to get back from lunch I didn't want to stick around and wait for her to remake it. Everything else came out fine! Donuts are delicious. fun and inviting atmosphere. great people. oh and great sandwiches. fresh and they have a great variety. and the donuts are perfectly cooked. i love the maple bars and the white sprinkled donuts but everything is great here. also i have to recommend their tuna sandwich it's BOMB. maybe more importantly, the people who work here and kind generous and very personable. the owners are great humble people as well, always serving to the high school across the street. the vibe of this place is great and i'm happy they expanded their menu. also, the orders here are very personable and love to chat and build relationships with their customers. like it should be. try this place out it's worth every penny, the prices are unbeatable on top of everything. they have coffee juices c chips , hot sauce, you name it. job well done. read more
