Please please do not use this company! Just like every other review on here, our experience was just as bad. The interior was unbearably hot from the minute we got on the bus. Even the driver was sweating profusely during the trip, which further highlighted how incredibly uncomfortable the conditions were. This made our ride not only unenjoyable, but this is also unacceptable given the terms of our rental and the age of the children on the bus. The contact refused to help us out and never once apologized. Overall awful customer service and declined to give us our money back or even a discount. we will never be using this company again and hope no one else will either. read more

Overall it's hard to complain because for the price you get everything you asked for! Positives: great customer service, friendly driver, good communication and contact skills, good driving, bus was roomy, speakers, LED lights, pole included, BYOB and snacks. Negatives: speakers not as loud as we imagined, A/C circulation could be better, bus not as upgraded as it seemed in photos. They have group options up to 20, 25, 30 people which was so accommodating! When I called to get the information the lady I spoke to was so friendly and answered my many questions. I would not rent from this company again especially in the Texas heat. The ac doesn't work and just blew hot air. We were hot and sweaty the entire time. We were having to use hand fans to keep from overheating. It was so hot we had some people who decided to drive themselves instead. The stripper pole was not secure and immediately fell down when first trying it. Some of the guys tried to fix it. It's Advertised as having karaoke.. it does not. Nor does it come with music. Be prepared to link up to your phone and play music from it the entire time.. The door would come open some when driving. Possibly bc of the wind and pressure. Not sure. It did have some coolers with ice and water, which was absolutely necessary. There were times I called/texted the driver and didn't get any response. The guys had to run to the other end to track him down. Their "bus" is actually a truck converted and not equipped to handle cooking down the "bus" Their heat disclosure: TEXAS HEAT DISCLOSURE As you all know, we are in the GREAT state of Texas, which means we have to endure the extreme amount of heat that comes with our summers.  Please be advised it is an industry-wide problem to fully cool off a bus in the times of high temperatures. DFW Fun Bus has gone the extra mile, further than most companies, to combat this ongoing issue by adding 2nd air conditioners on most of our vehicles. With dancing, body heat, and of age passengers drinking, it will get hot on the bus, much similar to as if you were at a club. Night clubs have multiple huge air condition units, but with everyone dancing and having a great night, clubs too, will still get hot and uncomfortable during high temperatures in the summer months. We recommend reducing the amount of occupants on the bus or choosing a larger bus for your party. Our recommendations for 20 passenger buses are not to exceed over 12 passengers and for 30/35 passenger buses, not exceed over 18 passengers. Do keep that in mind when booking with us and have all your guests aware of the situation and if you do exceed that amount, please note that you are responsible for your own decision.   DFW Fun Bus will do everything in our power to keep all of the air conditioners in our vehicles in the most optimum state and we would love to be a part of your special occasion, but we strongly suggest if you or anyone in your party has concerns, asthma, or any other health related issues with heat, to please be mindful and use your best judgment when booking a party bus in the summer.   Make no mistake, every day we have happy customers enjoying their time with DFW Fun Bus even in the summer months, but we feel it is our duty to fully advise and set expectations prior to reservations. We don't advertise that all of our buses come with karaoke at all, karaoke only comes in 2 of our buses and it is just a perk, an extra add on that we don't charge for if you happen to have a bus with karaoke on it. The bus you book was not a karaoke bus and you never disclosed that you wanted karaoke at booking at all. As far as the pole, no one should have been trying to swing on the pole at all as it is in a moving vehicle and it is not a pole that you are supposed to do tricks on like in a nightclub, it is merely used for holding on to and pictures, no one should try to swing on or do pole tricks at all. The AC was blowing cool, both vents as checked by the driver and if you all were so uncomfortable why not call dispatch so we could try to resolve the issue? You all went though the entire reservation and didn't say anything to dispatch, also if you couldn't get a hold of the driver you should have called dispatch as well so we could have dealt with it but you again didn't. It is unfair to not call dispatch if you had issues so we may have had a chance to resolve the issue then leave a 1 star review and complain about karaoke that you never requested and we don't promise and your guests destroyed our property by swinging on the pole which should not have happened. read more

absolutely horrible service. the bus arrived 30 minutes late and did not care. I asked for a partial refund and they said no we will give you the time you booked. When I explained that the problem was that we missed 30 min of our activity that we paid for and could not get back they ghosted me. There was no air on the bus. They had told me the air was sufficent unless we had more then 30 people or it was summer. We had less than 30 people and it was 80 outside. I was the first person on the bus and it was so hot empty. There were two vents on the entire bus and they were at the very back of the bus and blowing warm air. The bus could never have been cool with 2 air vents in the back for a 30 passenger bus. If I could give 0 stars I would.... They are very unprofessional people and inconsiderate with your time. They lied about their ETA multiple times starting with 20 minutes then another 10 and then "around the corner" (they need time management skills and need to learn what around the corner means as it was 10 more minutes after "around the corner"). They showed up 40 minutes late and no apologies were given!! They then immediately shoved a paper for a CC authorization as soon as we got on the bus. They had the whole bridal party waiting in the 100° sun for to long. No refunds were given or offered, then they decided to argue with us about the situation over the phone and said "why would you get a refund". This company is horrible and ran by very unprofessional people that have no business doing what they are doing. They did not complete the service that we paid for as we paid for an hour but only rode for 15 minutes because of their 40 minute tardiness. For that alone, a refund should automatically have been given as any reputable business would do since it was their issue that caused them to be late and they acknowledged that but chose to argue aggressively and told us no when seeking a refund. Don't argue with customers over your issues! Although the bus was hot, that's not the main reason why you have upset customers, it was leaving a bridal party stranded for 40 minutes in the Texas heat and then arguing and blaming us!! On our wedding day bus showed up 40 minutes late, they told me they had AC service issues and that they fixed it and that's why they were late but as we boarded it was still 90 degrees without anyone even in there. Response from DFW FUN BUS: Again, I greatly apologize and I definitely understand that it was a big day but I know for a fact that the bus was not 90 degrees when it left the yard to you all, I was on it myself right before it took off, had it been that hot I would have had one of my affiliates take over the reservation or even called you and canceled myself, now had John gotten the ice before hand and had it already loaded on the bus and inside the icy breeze units it would have been much cooler as the air would have been able to circulate the entire ride to you all, but he decided to wait and get the ice and water on the way to you causing him to be even later as well, the initial reason for the bus being a little behind before that was because we were putting as much freon as possible in the bus so it would be blowing as cool as possible along with the portable units to make it as comfortable as possible. From the beginning of you booking I highly recommended that you not put 30 people on the bus, you said that it would be ok and you all would deal with it as you all were only going from one place to the next and it wasn't a far drive, I even reiterated that to your contact person yesterday amd he assured me that you had spoken with everyone and you all were expecting it to be hot. We did everything up to the very last point that we could to service the AC, we didn't just send the bus as is, the owner himself was in the blazing hot sun under the bus and hood servicing the AC himself up to the very last second, our driver dropped the ball tremendously, he should have had the ice and water when he showed up to pick the bus up, also I just spoke with another gentleman that was on the bus as well, and he let me know that not only was the ice not in the coolers where the water was, but that he also didn't have the portable units turned on so that the cold air would be circulating throughout the bus which is why it felt so hot on the bus when you all got on, everything could have been avoided ha d he pick up the ice an water before hand and I could have put the ice on myself ensuring that the units were on and circulating so when he got to you the bus would have been comfortable, he also would have been there much earlier, as it was only a 27 minute drive from the yard to your pick up location, you all would have waited no more than 5 to 10 minutes max had he did things in the correct order, we literally did everything we could before the bus got to you to make it comfortable, even after recommending that you don't put 30 people on the bus, I apologize for everything that happened yesterday and I was or am in no way trying to argue with you in anyway, but we did all we could to get the bus to you as comfortable as possible after giving warning about not filling the bus to capacity. John caused the disaster by not following protocol as well as having very poor customer service. I apologize again Erick! I am sorry that I couldn't do more, and I appreciate you reaching out to me and letting me know everything that John did and didn't do. We had to pay for two Ubers to make it to our dinner reservation in time, and we finally got in contact with the company while on our way to Dallas. the office manager Tyneka Allen said they had to switch buses due to an oil leak on the first one. This is a scam that bus companies in this area often pull: advertise beautiful buses, get guests to book those, claim "mechanical issues" at the eleventh hour, and pick up guests (late) who have forked out hundreds of dollars in a hardly functional, unclean, depressing "party bus." After dinner the driver showed up to the restaurant at 9:20, and we all piled on. He apologized immediately, and we wanted to give this young guy the benefit of the doubt. And we still do because we didn't have any issues with him, however this company reeks of poor leadership and shady practices. More upsetting than the fact we weren't given a ride to dinner, was that there was a huge hole in the school-bus-style doors. This is a dangerous liability that a reputable company would never permit and the most egregious red flag for us. The doors wouldn't close and were flapping partially open going down the freeway. When this was brought to Tyneka's attention by sending her the video of the doors, she said we should have gotten off the bus? Since we were in between Dallas and Ft Worth where we were to be dropped off, we didn't want 8 girls to be dropped off late at night in an unfamiliar neighborhood so that thought didn't really enter our mind. The bus had also clearly not been cleaned since its last use, and the speaker system was entirely broken. To the driver's credit, he tried for 15 minutes to fix the speakers but to no avail. This means we did not move or "use" the bus until 9:35. We made the most of our quiet drive back to FW and were piling off the bus by 10:25. The price we paid was $590 for four hours of bus use. Because we were only on the bus for an hour, Tyneka promised a refund of three out of the four hours we paid for, which we assumed would be about $440. However, she changed her story and said we were still being charged for 2 hours for a total of $295 because that is the price for a pick up and drop off, despite us showing her time-stamped photos of us in the restaurant and in our home that do not align with that narrative. To receive a partial refund of $295 she requested an NDA be signed because they don't want bad reviews. We did not sign the NDA and instead filed a complaint with our credit card to receive a partial refund. Tyneka was extremely rude and aggressive with both me and my mother, and she said they would fight us if we tried to dispute the charge with the credit card company. She said they would win and we wouldn't receive any type of refund then. When we asked for the managers name and phone number we were told that like Walmart and Target he doesn't speak to customers, another sign of horrible management. Again, this company is nothing short of a well-veiled scam. I feel for the driver who did the best with the shotty vehicle and leadership available to him. However, the lack of integrity and accountability is stunning. If you must book with this company--get a contract. Absolutely the worst party bus I have ever been on!! The driver was speeding in the rain even after we asked him several times to slow down. He hit a huge pothole going so fast that everyone was thrown from our sits leaving us with broken nails and drinks spilled all over our clothes. We noticed the tire was flat when we stopped at the gas station and he knowingly proceeded to drive around the city and expressway on a flat tire putting us all in danger. There was also a leak in the back which concerned us because the karaoke machine (which was broken) was plugged in back there but the driver brushed that off as well when we brought it to his attention. First off, I rarely do reviews, and the few I have done are glowingly positive because I'm just so impressed, I want to support the business. This may be the first time I have given a bad review, but that's just because that's how disappointed I am. First of all, the customer service we received from DFW Fun Bus THROUGHOUT the process was always terrible. The woman I spoke with the whole time was unhelpful and did not work with me at all. Secondly, the bus is vastly overpriced. There is a four hour minimum, which was way more than we needed, the hourly rate was high, and there was zero wiggle room. They often brought up that they are the "only company with karaoke buses in DFW," as a way of telling me they can charge and do whatever they want. This is not true. We booked a karaoke bus from Party on 6 Wheels about a year ago and had a phenomenal experience, and we would have used them again if they had availability that night. Definitely give Chico at Party on 6 Wheels a call if you're interested in a karaoke bus--he is the best! Thirdly, the bus was very rickety, and we were bouncing around like crazy all night. I have rented several party buses, and this rode a lot more like a school bus than a party bus. Tables/parts of the bus were consistently falling down, and standing while riding was almost impossible. The driver, although fine, didn't speak to us the entire time and did not add to the experience. This isn't a huge complaint, but normally party bus drivers are at least a little interactive and add to the fun! This one had headphones in the whole time, and we felt like we were inconveniencing him to ask him to drive or stop anywhere. Fourthly, and most importantly. We had booked and paid a down payment for a karaoke bus for 20 people. The day of the event, I was charged for the rest of the price (under the impression we would be getting a nice party bus with a smart TV and a good karaoke system). Shortly after being charged, I was called to be let know that I would no longer be getting a karaoke bus, but just a party bus that can play music. Seeing that I was having 17 people over specifically to drive around doing karaoke for a few hours, this was not going to work. We didn't need transportation, we wanted karaoke. I was refused any kind of partial refund, and again just told "good luck finding anyone who has availability. We're your only option at this point." Eventually after way too long on the phone and having to get my husband to come in and talk as well, we were told that they had worked it out, and we will get the karaoke bus after all. When the bus showed up (30 min late, BTW), we had been lied to. A regular party bus showed up with a small karaoke stereo plugged in in the corner (I'm talking the kind that you got for Christmas as a teen one year for an at home speaker). No TV, only two mics that had short cords connected to the stereo, and verrrry quiet. We were able to play our music through the car stereo, but could not hear any singing and did not have any way of seeing the words for karaoke. In fact, because it was so rickety in how it was set up, the machine continually was getting unplugged and not working. The car stereo was also shaky and music was in and out throughout the night. We were SERIOUSLY disappointed after paying double what we had originally intended on paying, and not even receiving the product we paid for. There was no communication afterwards, no sorry, nothing. I cannot even explain how HORRENDOUS & NOT FUN our experience was with this company!! I requested pricing for a KARAOKE BUS for my daughter's birthday to which they gave me info and told me it was a 20 passenger bus. Only after confirming the details and paying the deposit, they started sending me emails explaining that it is hard to fully cool off the bus and that they "have gone the extra mile" by adding a 2nd air conditioner. I thought this strange as I have been on many party buses and the temperature has always been comfortable even with a group of adults dancing and moving around. They start telling me not to exceed 12 people on the 20 passenger bus & no more than 18 on the 30 passenger bus...ALL VERY STRANGE, but I didn't give it too much concern as I was hosting a morning party at 10 am with 10 small 8-9 year olds girls and a couple of parents. (The day before the party, they did offer to move my group onto a larger bus that DIDN'T HAVE KARAOKE...which was the entire point!! They then told me that they would send an extra fan to help keep the bus cool) On party day, the number of & extreme nature of the problems would almost be comical except that I had a group of little girls ready to karaoke. 1. The bus was 30 minutes late! 2. It was the driver's FIRST DAY ON THE JOB! He arrived half dressed (I am sure due to the extreme heat level of the bus!) and I felt badly for him having to even try to drive that bus. 3. From the outside, the rickety bus literally looked like it was falling apart as it bumped & clanked along the parking lot. 4. The inside was HOT, HOT, HOT...and sticky and filthy and reeked of cigarette smoke. A 2nd air conditioner? No...there was NO AIR FLOWING OUT OF ANY OF THE VENTS anywhere on that bus. 5. THE KARAOKE MACHINE DIDN'T EVEN WORK!!! 6. The promised extra fan was a dirty, dusty box fan circa 1980's and needed to plug in to a power strip somewhere. 7. There was water dripping from an unexplained source creating wet spots on the floor and adding to the heat to create a humid mess. 8. The bus was supposed to be fully stocked with bottled waters & ice. My husband had to ask the driver to go to a nearby fast food restaurant to get ice to cool down the beverages that we had brought to stock the bus. It quickly became apparent that the extreme heat on the bus would preclude us from even being able to ride in the bus...the bus driver even said that he wasn't sure if it was safe as he COULD NOT COMPLETELY SHUT THE DOORS! And most importantly, it didn't have a functioning karaoke machine so why would we ride around in a hot, filthy bus? We started to remove the items that we had brought onto the bus...and the driver could not fully open the bus doors back up. Using force, he eventually yanked them open so that everyone could escape...but never was able to close them again. HE DROVE AWAY WITH THE DOORS OPEN!!!! Now we get to the best part...when I called the office and explained the MANY ISSUES to the office, she immediately agreed to refund my money if I would just sign a form. Why is that necessary & what form? It was a NON DISCLOSURE AGREEMENT promising that I would not share this experience on social media or the internet. Why does a company have an NDA readily available to send to clients? Hmmm....my guess is that furious customers are their norm and the only people who actually end up using the the shaky, unsound, grimy bus are people with no other option. Luckily, I am smart enough to know that I didn't need to sign it and could easily dispute the charges with my credit card company as the service for which I paid was NEVER RECEIVED. This DFW Fun Bus is a rip off poor customer service. The bus was late picking us up which made us late for our other engagement, I didn't get the full time I paid for. When we got on the bus it was smoking badly and the smell of burning oil was backing up to the inside of the bus, the passenger door wouldn't stay closed this was a safety hazard it kept opening on every bump, the bus was barely able to move it couldn't go over 30 miles had no power. We barely made it to our destination before the bus broke completely down, they had to send a mechanic to get the bus. I know circumstances happen that are out of our control from time to time but I feel as a business owner you should take responsibility for inadequate service. I didn't ask for a full refund but I feel I should have compensated something for the inconvenience. I had to pay extra for the time we went over on the party. We spoke with the owner who was not willing to make any compensation for the inconvenience we will never use them again and we definitely won't recommend them to anyone! They falsely advertised on their page they do not have the amenities they advertise on the website they are not willing to compensate you for their downfall. DFW fun bus was the absolute BEST! I had it booked for my 30th birthday & we had so much fun we had to book it again the following night. I had visitors from out of town & it was the perfect way to get around town and also jam to music! I will definitely be booking with them in the future!
