This was our first time using DFW Remote Parking South, and overall, it was a great experience! The wait for the shuttle from the parking lot to the terminal was a bit longer than expected, but the return trip made up for it. Our driver was fantastic--energetic, friendly, and even handed out water, which was a nice touch. The parking lot has a designated waiting station, and it's heated, which is a huge plus, especially in colder weather. The convenience and affordability make this a solid choice for DFW travelers. Purchased Remote South online through their website. So we go to Remote South it's a large parking lot. Show your license plate to be scanned for entrance. We found parking right away as we pulled in and I had read the reviews so I adjusted our timeline to the reviews. So we did and in departing I did come an extra 30 minutes earlier and I'm glad we did because we boarded the bus and we sat there, waited for other people to come and that added about an extra eight minutes. Then of course we went to each terminal and drop everyone off only at one gate per terminal so they dropped us off in the middle of our terminal D and we had to walk the rest of the way which was fine. It wasn't that bad because we got there in time and we only had to sit 45 minutes to our departure. In return there is a certain area where they pick you up. It's not the regular pick up area like for the Parking spot. I believe it's blue or purple sign that you're looking for. I've already forgotten sorry And it does say something else other than Shuttle Parking pickup so you have to be careful with that ask it doesn't hurt to ask so I believe that's why other people missed their pick up because it does not pick up at the regular shuttle parking area so just be aware!!! We only stood out there and waited for about 10 minutes and they picked us up and we did go around to another terminal to pick up another people , then they took us straight to the Remote South parking lot and we got off, walked to the car, show the license plate in getting out just as we did coming in and we were gone so you just have to pay attention for your first time and we probably will be using it again. Remote South is cheaper than the Parking spot now which is unfortunate because that used to be my to go place and they just gotten out of hand in their pricing, so yes, I will use Remote South again. Oh, and don't forget to take a picture of your aisle number. You'll see people wondering around lost looking for their car. read more

We have been waiting for a shuttle back to Remote South for over 40 minutes. One just came by but was "full" after 4 passengers got on, leaving over a dozen of us standing here. Meanwhile there have been seven "north"shuttles come and gone. NEVER AGAIN! And I will preach the gospel to anyone I know! read more

I've always parked here for my flights I've never had an issue. What may be an issue is the bus on the way back, you'll see the express bus come by about 2-3 times before you get picked up by the remote parking bus. read more

DON'T do it! I accidentally prepaid for this one instead of Express South. I'll never make the mistake again! The wait time was ridiculous. I literally saw multiple pickups at the adjacent options before calling. After calling, one bus finally shows up, but by then there were more people that has to wait for another bus. Male passengers were literally passing luggage to the bin just to help out on the crowded bus. If you have time to wait over 20 minutes for one bus to arrive for 20+ people, then you'll be fine. Very poor service. Waited for shuttle to take us from the terminal to the Express Parking lot for over 45 minutes. We called them twice and their response was they were short on shuttles! We went to south parking and questioned how frequently they left to the airport. From that point on the female driver was determined to not get us to our gate. We were going to gate B. She went to C and then to A and started talking about going to the North parking lot. We were not the only passengers going to gate B and she seemed to make a point of taking forever to get to the gate. We reminded her that we needed Terminal B. It took 30 minutes from the time we got on the bus to get to terminal B. We ran to the terminal and still missed our flight. We will definitely not be parking there again! read more

I recommend for long-term low-cost parking. However, it's not very close to terminals, so make sure you give yourself about 30min extra for shuttle to arrive and drive you over. Our vehicle was in a safe and lighted area. So, I will probably use again on long trips. read more

I always park at remote south due to the price. I go online and pay in advance and it's half price. I have a toll tag and I missed putting in my license plate by 1 number so it picked up my toll tag and not my pre paid. I called after I got home and noticed. They fixed it and refunded my money to my toll tag. The wait times suck if you get stuck during shift change but other than that it's the way I park when traveling. read more

leaving town was great, no issues but returning was awful. it was 7:00 am we were the only people waiting on the shuttle w/ 2 others already on the shuttle. the driver closed the doors on us as we were loading our luggage, we had to bang on the window to get him to open them again. then he proceeds to start driving before we could secure our luggage or even sit down almost causing me to fall. He was rude about the entire ordeal telling me we took to long getting on & he had a schedule to keep. I've spent hundreds of dollars using this remote lot but will never again!!! read more

Shuttle Drivers were great both going to the airport and returning. However I was charged when I made my reservation online and again when I checked out. The Gate Person said she had no record of a charge, and I didn't print out the receipt either. For convenience sake, I paid again and thought I would just resolve the issue through customer service when I got home. When I got home I checked my bank records and found two charges on my account for The Parking Spot, for the same period of time that I stayed. Here's the kicker.... their so-called customer service number (312) 453-1700, does not work!! I tried for two days to resolve the issue with no relief. So I called my bank to have one of the charges removed. Apparently this business has no working customer service number to resolve issues. Otherwise, I was pleased with the convenience of the parking lot and the shuttle service. If you prepay online, print your receipt and put it in the car. This was a lesson learned. read more

Just returned from a wonderful trip and walked out of the terminal, we grab some directions from a very nice gentleman from express south parking and started to walk to the pick up location. This is when we seen our bus , so we ran for a bit until the bus stopped to pick up passengers. We were less than a bus length away, the doors opened but no one got off and the bus or got on immediately, so the driver closed the doors and drove off before allowing us to get on. We yelled waved our hands, but the driver never bothered to hold the doors or look in the rear view mirror. Unbelievable!!! read more

Essentially no signage from baggage claim to the bus stop. Asked around and first was directed to the express parking stop. Then I found out the remote parking stop is AT THE VERY END OF THE TERMINAL. The remote bus didn't come for 45 minutes, and didn't even stop at the sign at the end of the terminal. Had to jog with my kids and luggage about a hundred yards to catch the bus. I'm getting the sense that they have made a sincere effort to make remote parking truly a terrible experience in order to get more folks to spend more for the higher-priced parking. To be fair, it worked. I will never use remote parking again because it might as well not exist. Better off parking at the nearest Walmart and walking. read more

I had a mostly good experience with this place, up until the end. Like most people have mentioned, parking here is cheap in comparison to other options - it'll run you $9/day. There's no covered parking option, but if you're only going away for a few days, I don't think that matters too much (then again, I'm not driving the most prestigious car). They provide shuttles to and from the terminals every 15 minutes, so they make it pain-free as far as making your flight on time. I was lucky enough to time it that I was walking up to the station as the shuttle arrived, so yay! However, getting back was a bit more annoying. I had to make a flight change, so my new flight ended up landing at 12:17 AM; on the DFW remote parking website, it lists a number that you'll have to call if you need to be picked up after 12:30. Once I got to my baggage claim, I called the number and said that I would need a shuttle in about 10 minutes, allowing time for my bag to show up. The lady on the other end of the phone was at first hard to understand, kept trying to talk over me, and then finally snapped "shuttles run ALL NIGHT". Stunned, I said "Oh, okay" and then was promptly hung up on before I could say anything else. After having spent a long, exhausting day traveling, this rude encounter was not exactly appreciated. I resigned myself down to the pick up area, hoping that the woman was right. I'm not exaggerating at all when I say every other parking shuttle came at least twice before Remote South showed up. After I saw the Express North shuttle for the fourth time, I tried calling again, only to be told the same useless information - that buses ran every 15 minutes. The wait ended up actually being closer to 35 minutes. It was just as fun as you'd imagine. So, I don't really know. Would I try it again? Maybe, but only if I'm absolutely sure that my flight won't be landing after midnight. read more

This is the way to go for DFW parking last minute. The price can't be beat even with the recent $1 increase. It also takes toll tag so getting in and out is easy! It does not offer a covered option and the bus ride is about 8-13 minutes depending on terminal, but the buses come regularly in both directions and the staff is very friendly. It is sometimes hard to find a spot on busy weekends, but don't be discouraged if you see that it is sold out, just wait for the next shuttle to arrive with passengers and follow one to their car. It was $65 to park here for a week (uncovered, not in a parking garage). It was crazy finding a parking place, but the booth operator was helpful. He said even though the sign said the parking lot was "Full", that you can still usually manage to find a spot if you look hard enough. He was right about that! The buses come by every 15-20 minutes to shuttle people from the parking lot to the terminals. On the way back, look for the yellow shuttle buses that service the "Remote" parking areas. It also helps to write down the row & section number where your car is parked so that you can find it when picking it up. I kept the ticket with me, & when I picked up my car, I scanned the ticket into the automated machine, then scanned my credit card to pay. That machine gives you back the ticket, & you will need it to scan into the gate on the way out. If you have already paid, it will just raise the gate & let you out. Very convenient! read more

Not sure what's going on with shuttle service but it is poor at best. I fly 2-3 a week and usually use express south. Recently the shuttles have stopped showing up until called. I landed on Sunday 8/26 and 3 express north shuttles came and finally had to call a south shuttle for pickup. I landed today at 4 and the same thing happened. 3 express north shuttles arrived but no express south. The north bus finally said they would radio the south drivers. The express south driver arrived finally on the phone at 4:40 saying he just started at 4 and this is his first pick up 40 min later. read more

Do not park here unless you have TONS of time to spare. The sense of urgency here is non-existent. The bus timing is inconsistent, to the point that you cannot depend on them (you need to be at the depot 1.5 hours before ur scheduled flight). I was there 1 hour before and still missed my flight. I've never had problems but this was a totally different change from what's normal. Part of the problem is that they cover multiple terminals and pick people up simultaneously, sometimes stopping at 3 places in the same terminal. Simply asking where people need to go and stopping where they see people waiting would be a better idea. read more

Since the new route changes I would stay away from parking here if you do just make sure you leave 3 hrs before your flight the new ride adds at least 45 mins to get to your terminal. I am currently standing here at 154 am having waited for nearly 54 minutes for a shuttle in the cold with about a dozen other people. We have called the parking office at least four times ( more if u include others waiting) and we r told just to wait as they are busy. After a long and late flight with delays the last thing we want to do is stand in the cold waiting for the shuttle and pay extra hour for parking at that. Most ppl in line are muttering will never use this again and thinking parking spot next time( that shuttle has come by at least four times already). After waiting I finally call and ask if it'll take more than five minutes more for shuttle to arrive as I've already waited nearly an hour. They tell me they cannot guarantee a time and that it's likely to be more than 10 mins. I finally give in and decide to call uber and had to pay 7$ to get to the remote south terminal. Finally to add salt to the wound when I get there I need to walk from the toll booth in and in the dark it's very hard to find my parking space. I see a remote south shuttle coming in and the driver refuses to let me in and drives by. I catch him when he stops to let a passenger out and ask him to take me to my spot since I am having trouble locating it and he REFUSES!!!! I show him my remote south voucher tell him I've been waiting an hour and it's now 2 am...( I got off my plane at 1230ish) but he still will not let me in. I have no choice but to walk to the remote south office and another shuttle driver there hears my story and helps me to my parking space. This was by far the worst worst experience ever. The rudeness of that one shuttle driver needs to be addressed as that was just simply unacceptable. read more

I am finished with the Remote Parking at DFW. Recently they consolidated some buses and now it takes forever to get to and from the terminal. When it gets busy they do not add additional buses. They have stupid procedures in place like following the route when the bus is at capacity and the stop is only to tell people they can't get on. The drivers are nice. The management is at fault. I feel these bad decisions go all the way up to the DFW airport board. Shame on you. Remote used to be good. Never again. read more

Ever since they changed their service around and now stop at 3 (!!) terminals before taking you back to the parking lot, it takes a ridiculous amount of time to get from the baggage claim to your car. Express is only $2 a day more, and their buses seem to come much more often. read more
