Duck curry / hash er mangsho
    K I.

I ordered a Bangladeshi style duck curry (hash er mangsho) from Dhaka Kitchen. It was very delicious! It had a very authentic home cooked feel to it. I shared it with some hardcore Bangladeshi chefs and they too complimented the curry. Please note, this item is not offered on the regular menu but have to be requested for in advance and they cook an entire duck once you place the order. The owners are very gracious and customer service is top notch! Keep it up Dhaka Kitchen!

Good food, great service. A quick stop for dal puri, something different than regular food. It was nice and had flavors.

Really loving this place. It has that cozy, family-run feel where you can tell they put care into everything. The menu isn't overwhelming, just simple and straightforward, but every option is done really well. The flavors are balanced and comforting, the kind that feel homemade but with a little extra polish. It's the kind of spot you could come back to again and again without getting tired of it.

Definitely has that homemade taste. Parathas are HUGE! Was a long wait for food but very good.

I've never tried this type of food, and wow amazing. Great cozy restaurant with a very helpful staff, they recommended the food I got and man the chicken was juicy flavorful, the sauce was great. Just a very delicious meal.

Being a fan of Bengali food, I am always on the lookout for good, authentic Bengali food and I was pretty excited when Yelp recommended this little gem of a place. We went there for lunch on Saturday. The place is pretty unassuming with seating for 20. There is no wait staff, the kitchen is manned by 2 chefs/owners and they take your orders too. I ordered the chicken biryani, my wife ordered the chotpoti, veg puff & the Shingada/samosa. The food is pretty delicious and feels like home made food. The spices are lightly used but the flavor profiles are amazing. The meat was pretty tender. My wife loved the chotpoti which is a Bengali variation of the chat. The veg puff ate well and so did the samosa. The potato filling used in the samosa was pretty delicious. We also took a takeaway of a goat biryani which my son loved. Overall a good place to go if you're a fan of good Bengali food.

Very authentic Bangladeshi food! I ordered goat curry and chicken birriyani. It's very flavorful homemade food. I was surprised to find a gem in Corona. I would definitely recommend it!

The food was amazing first time eating here and definitely not the last. The curry was Devineeeee and both the tandoori chicken and chicken seekh kabob were super good. Food came out quick and staff was nice. Highly recommended :)

Always made fresh! Chicken boti with naan was delicious! Breakfast with omelet, daal, potato hash, daal is my favorite! Very polite service too!!

This is how they serve their food.

Sitting here eating my leftovers from Naan and I needed to write a review. Have snagged food from…read morethis spot maybe once or twice each year, over the last several years. Food is damn good, and the people who work there are just as great. I had asked for a small amount of their riata, and the gentleman gave me a perfectly small size on the house with a smile. Absolutely nothing to complain about with these folks and their food, and only everything to beam over. Give them a visit when you can.

I placed an order for delivery through UE and got:…read more - Super Combo (comes with 3 entree items, rice, yogurt, choice of bread, and a fountain drink). My choices were Saag Paneer, Chicken Tikka Masala, and Aloo Gobi. Garlic Naan and a Mango Lassi (up charge). - Samosa Chaat: 2 Samosas cut up and topped with Chana Masala, yogurt, chutneys, raw onions and cilantro. My first time ever trying this and it will definitely not be my last. It was so good! All the savory and sweet flavors combined with the different textures from the soft and crisp samosas to the crunchy raw onions, just wow! They were kind enough to honor my request for extra chutneys on the side, so I added those liberally to each bite and put it on top of a piece of garlic naan. Mind-blown!! Deliciousness Rating: 10/5 - Saag Paneer (part of combo): Probably one of the best Saag I've ever had. Not super blended and mushy like other places. This still had texture and was really flavorful. Wish I had ordered more. Deliciousness Rating: 5/5 - Aloo Gobi (part of combo): This was served in a thin wet sauce and I'm used to the style that is sautéed dry, so this version was not my preference. I also had 1 piece of cauliflower in the entire cup. Probably won't order again. Deliciousness Rating: 3/5 - Chicken Tikka Masala (part of combo): A little too sweet for my preference, but the chicken was moist and the sauce was creamy. Deliciousness Rating: 3/5 - Garlic naan was perfectly cooked. The bread was thick and soft with a hint of garlic. Deliciousness Rating: 4/5 - Mango Lassi: Sadly, I never received. It was not delivered with my order, so I'm unable to review it. One thing I'd like to mention for the owner is that when trying to order food for pickup/delivery, either through the Naan Cafe website or DoorDash/Uber Eats, there are several inconsistencies. Multiple items that are on your menu are not available to order on the app/website. Please update so that your pickup and delivery customers have the same options available as the in-person customers do.

I found this little gem driving on Harbor Boulevard in Costa Mesa. It is hidden in the corner of…read morethe parking lot and you may miss it if you blink. I was greeted with a smile and seated at a very nice table covered with a table cloth and minimal centerpiece. Cloth napkins are also a plus. Music was at comfortable level with enjoyable "meal" music. I walked in around 2 p.m. on a Tuesday, just in time for the lunch special. The options are a 1 dish combo or 2 dish combo. I chose the 2 dish: saag aloo and chicken vindaloo, medium spiciness for both. I also ordered a lassi, sweet. After my order was taken, it wasn't very long until my meal was served. Along with my dishes came a small salad and a bowl of rice. The portions were just right for the lunch. I have to say the dishes were very delicious. The potatoes in the saag aloo were perfectly cooked (not mushy) and the spinach with the spices are well balanced. It paired well with the garlic naan ($1 more for the garlic upgrade). I would say the same with the chicken vindaloo. The chicken was very tender and again the flavors balanced well with the naan and the rice. The texture for both "sauces" were also just right as I was able to scoop both using my naan a spoon. I ended with a small dessert, gulab jamun, to balance my meal. Again, not too sweet and flavors balanced out. In all, my food customer service experience at Andaaz was amazing and I will definitely make it a point to head back there the next time I am in Costa Mesa or just head to the area because the food is exceptional.
