This was such a unique experience. Definitely 5/5 experience. The kids had fun playing Carom and Giant Uno. The Dads had fun having a cup of chai in a clay mug without the kids. The Moms had fun drinking a cup of chai with a side of their amazing rabri without both the kids and Dads. lol First and foremost the chai was really good. Just good, uncomplicated chai that hit the spot. I'm a chai snob and a true Karachite and this chai was 10/10 Very nice experience. Very clean and organized. Clean bathrooms! This is a big one. Open space with a very eclectic vibe. Don't feel rushed or pressured. Unique experience, it's like half self serve and half they bring to you.(Just ask what to do. They're so nice and helpful.) Delicious food, I love their Chicken Karahi 10/10 Service was fast, surprised with how amazing the food came out that they can cook it that fast. The best part about this restaurant is that it feels so immersive. I love Desi Dhaba & Butchery!!! The vibe, atmosphere and food are AMAZING. I have been here 6 times in the past few weeks. Their smash burgers are absolutely scrumptious. The meat is fresh and cooked perfectly with the gooey cheese and garlic sauce being a perfect touch. The Tawa Chicken Fries are a perfect match and side for any of their items. The owner is such a kind and friendly person and the service is great. I see a few 1 star reviews, which is quite unfair being that this is a new business and I'm sure they are working out the kinks and honing in on perfecting their restaurant and butchery. The food and vibe are what I will be coming here for at least once a week!!! read more

The creamy chicken was delicious, and the pita bread it came with was a great addition. I especially liked that the chicken wasn't too salty it was just right for my taste. They have the best chicken kabob parata rolls. We did try there burgers too great touch to a Desi burger making it with the Chapli kabobs. Not a traditional Desi restaurant. Also must try the mango lassi a must have. read more

They have zabihah halal Pakistani food, plus really good smash burgers and Philly cheesesteaks.The meat shop has a big selection of goat, beef, and chicken. They also have rabri and pastrami for sale. Their Duhm Chai is very good. The owner Raza is very friendly and they stay open late. I recommend this place. read more

This is a great place to come to get food whether it's to dine in or takeout. Best Pakistani food hands down. Their food is so yummy with their meat being so fresh and considering there is a butchery there as well! Every time I come Sister Zehra takes care of us and provides the best service to make sure my order is ready and correct! She goes out of her way to ensure that I am satisfied and that means a lot! The Ambiance is great right and is so beautifully decorated inside. I love that it's so convenient located. Where should I start? My son wanted to treat me to a lovely restaurant he had heard such wonderful things about from others. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm, friendly hospitality that made my son and me feel entirely comfortable. The food was fantastic--genuinely delicious Indo-Pakistani cuisine. Every dish was full of flavor and prepared with great care. P.S. The best Chai Tea I've ever had. Make sure to order some and enjoy it with a cookie or biscuit. Desi Dhaba is a hidden gem in Corona for desi food. I just visited to check it out for some tea and mango lassi because I saw pictures and fell in love with the vibe. Upon my visit I was surprised by how hospitable the owner is. I loved the chai and mango lassi both, pure aithentic taste! Since I am a vegetarian - Raza, the owner offered me to take some tikka curry home and eat it by adding paneer. The curry was bang on, totally loved it! I bought a bunch of frozen vegetarian foods to try as well. I highly recommend visiting this gem. I will come on a Saturday morning to try their chole, puri, and halwa soon too read more

Today we went to try Desi Dhaba & Butchery in Riverside on the recommendation of a friend, but unfortunately our experience was very disappointing. The food seemed frozen and nothing tasted fresh and authentic. It was served cold, and no one came to check on us during our meal. The food is also overpriced and definitely not worth driving one hour from Los Angeles to Riverside. I would not recommend this place to anyone. While the desi-style décor is nice and worth seeing, other than that there is really no reason to go there. read more

They have decorated this place nicely and the store is kept clean. Restroom was also clean. Good ambiance. 1 start is for food quality. The food was of mediocre quality. It seemed naan and parathas are not made in the restaurant. They are probably bought frozen and warmed up in the restaurant on the grill. I saw them doing so. And since they use the same grill all day long to warm these items, I could taste stale oil in the both items. We also order chapli kebab. They were nowhere close to real chapli kebab. They didn't feel fresh and the texture was more of burgers. It seemed they are fried in the same oil as samosas, fries etc. It seems the raw meat is stored using the same refrigerated area with drinks, lassi etc. except that they have put some kind of plastic sheet to cover raw meat storage area so you won't see stacks of raw meat from the dinning area. However, when we open the refrigerator door to take soft drinks and lassi out, we could smell raw meat....Not very appetizing. Also, they call out names of the customers when orders are ready from the counter area which faces the entrance and not where customers sit. Therefore, it is hard to hear when they call your name to pick up the order. Seems not much planning/thinking was done when configuring the conter area. Lastly, the meat ordering area and restaurant counters are combined. Gives an impression of a confused product - half restaurant and half meat shop, hmmmm. A restaurant is of this caliber should only give impression of restaurant. After all, we want there to have a nice meal and not smell raw meat!!!! And for the owners, they must decide if they want to be a Dhaba or a butcher shop!!! PS - this review is not to discourage owners but to provide them critical and constructive feedback. I wish them success in their endeavor. I am sure they have invested lots of money to get this project up and running. read more
