The customer service is good. The employees are very welcoming. The food is ok. The prices are fair. It's a small hole in the wall place. It could improve. People outside smoke at the tables and the place fills up with cigarette smoke. There is a store within the restaurant, which is nice, but cluttered. Lots of Bangladeshi foods to choose from. Parking is ample. It's within a mini shopping center. We are glad to have tried this place, but it will not be a regular destination.

We had a quick stop over at this place and end up buying some items. The store is big...the grocery and dining areas are separate, which I really liked. We tried (brought to our hotel room) their goat biriyani, daal puri, chaa (milk tea) and 3 different sweets. Everything was delicious. Was also impressed with how all the items on the shelves were so neatly organized. The staff were friendly and helpful. Will go back to try other items.

I put the full court press on Bangladesh https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=hnAr60LhgavwgWYf1_2vLA&userid=xsT4KZTu_KnOVavtuXn4RA Formerly Mehfil many moons ago, Little Dhaka is a Bangladeshi/Bengali market & restaurant. The restaurant section is currently undergoing renovations, so "pardon the mess". Looking forward to scratching off another ethnic cuisine to try, I stopped by Little Dhaka for some pre-gym sustenance. https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=ycoCijtoRqy4aZVSgcI4gQ&userid=xsT4KZTu_KnOVavtuXn4RA https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=kBoiOf6dVUFVaf-EchXzew&userid=xsT4KZTu_KnOVavtuXn4RA The market has prepared food in chafing trays. The offerings mainly consisted of curry dishes. https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=9-StXDg67u-USPz6n_vUKA&userid=xsT4KZTu_KnOVavtuXn4RA 2-item combo (masala chai included)- https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=ZQ5A2gS7ZIkuRGNl1eK-OQ&userid=xsT4KZTu_KnOVavtuXn4RA Rohu kalia- https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=D9ApIkA9G8X5oMx2IZjbiA&userid=xsT4KZTu_KnOVavtuXn4RA I've read Bangladeshi cuisine is known for their fish dishes, so I knew I had to have the rohu kalia. Reminding me a bit of escabeche, rohu kalia is made with carp. The firm, white fleshed fish is fried & cooked in a simmer sauce. I enjoyed this entree, having some heat to it. Goat curry- https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=vfGGo7lghm_lNvM3bsSKZw&userid=xsT4KZTu_KnOVavtuXn4RA The winner for me. With heat that caused my head to sweat profusely, w/o burning out my palate, the goat curry wasn't overcooked. Being a lean meat, it often is when prepared, incorrectly. The meaty portion had enough fat, the savory sauce heavily spiced & hearty. https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=AA-PMwLJm2OF9JQpAYPU7g&userid=xsT4KZTu_KnOVavtuXn4RA Service was fine. I paid for my food, which was quickly spooned onto the styrofoam plates, and I was promptly chowing down. Little Dhaka is located at the Artesia Towne Center, north of Jack in the Box. While the portions could've been more generous, I did enjoy my quick hot plate at Little Dhaka. For $10+, I had a satisfying meal of Bangladeshi/Bengali fare. The goat curry was the highlight for me, and I just might make Little Dhaka a regular stop for when I have designs for a meal to eat.

A variety of stuff is available here since its a combination of groceries and their cooked food and authentic snacks. Food is delicious which includes vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes. The place seems a bit untidy and gets crowded, however, and a little bit of everything can be found here. Adding an additional check out counter will help.

This was my first time there and it did not disappoint. I had the goat curry and the chicken briyani. The goat was a little spicy, but I like spicy. It was my 2 year old that said it was spicy but yummy. She LOVED the chicken briyani. They didn't skimp on the portions. I have to thank my neighbor for the recommendation. I will definitely be back!

Food was super old .beef also smell old rice Cold and very hard Customer service super bad as you see

So, this is not the cleanest or fanciest restaurant. It is rather unclean. It is a grocery store and a deli and a cantina and a social hangout place for bengalis. Sweets are ok, they dont make dudh chai like they used to make back in the days. You can find better biriyani in LA. But if you are a fish lover, they have probably 20+ different kind of fish. For me, rui kalia is a luxury, like a good rib-eye. When I get this huge piece of rui pety, i almost get into nirvana. I sit down on my couch, distance myself from surrounding and enjoy this piece to the bone. It needs to be plated well and it will be on par with Michelin star restaurants.

Their second location in LA is in Hawaiian Gardens. Gorgeous interior, perfect place for a date or gathering. They have large spaces and private areas inside. The food was delicious and so are their mocktails!! Wowww I was very impressed with the double smoked apple cocktail and highly recommend trying it. All their dishes are made with so much detail. And, many of the dishes have a very visual interactive moment like their table side bhel puri, puri, or their chicken biriyani and smoked beef. From modern authentic dishes to street food they have it all. The sloppy khans were also delicious! I really enjoyed their curry dishes with the garlic naan. They have so many dishes to try! I cannot wait to come back to try their butter chicken and paneer as well! For dessert we tried their rose milk cake and the chocolate samosas. Both were satisfying and the milk cake felt really special. Huge thank you to Ali, who has such a vibrant energy about him!!!!! He really added to the wonderful experience and helps us appreciate all the details and background of the dishes as well! Cannot rave about him enough. Definitely made the experience special for us! Congrats to Khan Saab on their new location!! Come check them out!

The larger, open space was a huge plus compared to the more compact Fullerton location, and the new items like chapli kebabs and different karahi variations were refreshing. This easily could have become our favorite location. Unfortunately, since Shor rebranded as Khan Saab, the overall experience seems to have gone downhill. The staff themselves are always nice, genuine, and willing to help, but once the restaurant gets even a little busy, they seem overwhelmed and clearly understaffed. Compared to the original Fullerton location, especially when more of the familiar OG staff were there, the service does not feel as polished or consistent. Our last visit was particularly disappointing. We ordered chicken karahi, chicken tikka masala, biryani, and bhel puri. The bhel puri was extremely dry with very little sauce and tasted poorly balanced. Nearly everything else, including the biryani, karahi, and tikka masala, was overly salty. The chicken karahi was the biggest disappointment. It is usually one of my go-to dishes at Khan Saab, but this time it barely tasted like karahi and was more like a generic curry. I understand this location does not offer boneless karahi, which is completely fine, but the flavor and quality should still be consistent. This location has so much potential because of the space and the Khan Saab name, but the consistency in both food and service just isn't there right now. I'll probably avoid this location for a while and hope ownership and Chef Ali Mookhi take notice and bring the standards back up.

The perfect garlicky sauce, and such a generous portion for a lunch special. Their chicken and corn egg drop soup was delightful as well. It was piping hot, comforting, perfectly done. Their restaurant is impeccably clean and their sauce and seasonings come out per table, so those are spotless as well. I very much appreciate their detail here and their utensils were also spotless. Having lived in Beijing and eaten Uyghur-style food out in the streets and in established…read morerestaurants as I traveled around, I was unbelievably excited to find this restaurant near home. However, it left me wanting more. I do wonder about the plethora of high reviews, because from my standpoint of having had a lot of Uyghur-style food abroad and my husband who had never had any, this place disappointed in taste. Ambiance (3/5): It was large, brightly lit and clean, but being so empty, it felt kind of sterile in there due to the lack of air flow and a TV blaring Spanish infomercials. I think it would add to the mood if they played some light instrumental music. Service (3/5): There was one waitress the whole time we were there and other than taking our order, she didn't come by much. I had to go to her twice to ask for things, including asking about rice. It was weird that she let us order without letting us know that we had to order rice separately. Yes...unlike most Chinese restaurants that automatically serve complimentary rice with main course dishes, you have to order rice and it's charged per bowl. Yikes. Food (3/5): We ordered the spicy Sichuanese boiled fish, lamb skewers and popcorn chicken. Admittedly, the fish and chicken dish aren't very Uyghur, and for that, it's our fault. However, the fish just was not close to anything I've had elsewhere, and not in a good way. It wasn't that spicy and it didn't have that signature mala kick. It was also salty. This was probably the most disappointing. The popcorn chicken was called something else on the menu, but it was essentially a big order of what you'd get at a Taiwanese boba shop. My kids loved it but I questioned why we ordered boba shop food on a dish. If anything were to right the wrongs, I expected the lamb skewers to be perfect at the price for four and it being a major Uyghur specialty. While the smell of the spices was accurate, the chunks of lamb were dry and tough that even my husband who had zero expectations mentioned what I noticed. I'm giving this place 3 stars for it being a unique restaurant that tries, but at the price point and quality of food, we both didn't feel that it would be a place we would visit again. The empty restaurant during peak dinner hours might have been a hint. But if you have restrictions such as needing to eat Halal food, then this restaurant offers some different dishes, so that may be its huge plus.
