What an adorable and tasty little diner!…read more When we arrived the place was packed and we followed the signage instructions to "seat ourselves". Very shortly we were greeted, handed menus and our coffee order was taken, impressive efficiency with a full house! I've have a recent hankering for scrapple and I'm glad this is where I got it- super crispy exterior with a meaty punch of flavor inside, probably the best scrapple I've ever had. I chose the eggs Chesapeake, which is eggs Benedict on a bed of lump crab- you can't go wrong, it's delicious! Husband got the Jo Jo's breakfast burger (without the bun) and the patty was HUGE - a very filling and flavorful choice. Pro Tip: the menu says home fries but it's like a cross between mashed potatoes and diced potatoes - order them extra crispy and you'll be happy you did.

Great covers of Bob Marley, Frankie Beverly and many others. Our servers were right on time, drinks and food came out quickly. I enjoyed the Mango Margarita (it had a lil spice to it which I loved) and my wife had a really good expresso martini. The New Orleans Seafood was delish. It did not have Cajun heat but it had great flavor. Then they topped it off with a birthday tiramisu with a candle. Excellent night, thanks for everything!

Nice ambiance and very friendly staff. I ordered the full stack of French toast with bananas, strawberries, and blueberries, and a side of sausage links. My wife had the west Coast scrambler which consisted of eggs, avocado, pepper jack cheese, tomatoes, and scallions. Our friends ordered the chorizo burger with fries, and pastrami on rye with a side of coleslaw. As a coffee snob, I would say the coffee was very good. Everything came out cooked fresh and hot. Plenty of fresh fruit on top of my French toast. I heard the chorizo burger was different and delicious. Most of the plates went back clean. Portions were very generous. The service was excellent and friendly. The prices are reasonable. There is plenty of parking in their private parking lot. Worth the trip if you are in the area.

The menu is MASSIVE, don't come if you're indecisive or if you don't plan to come back to try more dishes ! The waitstaff sticks to the silly bit , wearing PJs, bordering on rude but in a playful way that makes it fun and not annoying. There are so many knick knacks on the walls to look at - lots of conversation starters! We enjoyed everything we ordered (the afternoon waffle section was a fun twist on a sandwich and proved you can have it all!) and are already scheming what we will have next time we come back!

I don't have much to say besides this -- I love their burgers…read more I had the double bacon cheddar burger, medium rare, and wow... it was one of those moments where you just stop and say, this is a GREAT burger. Juicy, perfectly cooked, and full of flavor. It honestly made me think, NYC needs this again. The two locations we had back home are closed, and that's a real loss. If they ever come back to the city, I'll be first in line. Sorry I forgot to take a picture of it but I found a picture that look like it.

Johnny Rockets is the perfect hangover helper after wild nights in AC, and they know it. Why else…read morewould this greasy spoon with 60s vibes not open their doors until 10:30am each morning? Move along, early birds. Johnny Rockets caters to those sleeping in and staying up late, being one of the few eateries to remain open after midnight (on the weekends, at least). Burgers and shakes form the backbone of a traditional diner-inspired menu, which also features omelets, tater tots, chicken tenders, and club sandwiches. If you're looking for something greasy to soak up the night's libations, you'll find no shortage here. Accessibility is no problem, with an entrance right off the boardwalk leading to a cozy dining area with numerous red vinyl booths each equipped with a nickel jukebox oozing with nostalgia. Solo diners can pop a squat in one of about a dozen swivel chair barstools lining the countertop. You watch hands move fast and confidently, burgers hissing on the grill, ice cream thudding into metal cups, and the mixer rattling to life. It all plays out like a choreographed dance, truly mesmerizing if you can hit pause for a moment and just watch, taking it all in. Johnny Rockets at Bally's nails that vintage diner charm, with its chrome accents and hum of classic rock playing in the background. Whether sitting at the counter or chilling in a booth, time slows just a bit in here, a nostalgic little island away from the flashing lights and chaos of the casino floor. From sunrise pancakes to midnight fries, each bite feels like a small, timeless escape from the world outside.

Where do I begin?…read more Gourmay is the kind of place you don't notice unless you work out this way. Seriously... like, it's only open from 6am - 4pm, and considering its location, only us lucky airport business park folk are in the area during these hours. There are strip clubs nearby, but oh nevermind. lol. So, their menu is ok - Cheesesteaks, Sandwiches, Hot Dogs/Sausages, Hoagies, Burgers, Salads, Breakfast foods, etc... It's cheap, too... although the prices include tax and delivery is free, there are literally only SIX items on the menu over $5 and they are platters. We usually order for delivery, but I have stopped in once or twice... It has sort of a truck stop feel. Considering there are junkyards all around, I guess that's about right. lol I have been interrupted 15 times while writing this, so forgive the scatterbrained-ness. Anyway, they take cash only, and sometimes the service can be a little shoddy... Like, my cheesesteak just got here, and the cheese didn't melt completely... so the meat must not have been that hot when they put it on the roll, huh? Small price to pay though. lol Decent food. Nice people. You have to call just to hear the way the chick answers the phone. lol
