I've been frequenting this location since I moved into the neighborhood and this place is top notch. The food, their service, the market are all worth the visit. I also love their flagship location in Canton, but the fact that I can walk to the Harborview location makes it a winner every time. Ate in this time and the food was just alright. My friend liked his 'real Italian' sub well enough but my chicken parm was somewhat boring. It took a little while for our 2 sandwiches to be ready and then the chicken parm sub was lukewarm when I bit into it. The cannoli shell had a cinnamon flavor to it, which was nice. Today I met a friend here for a quick lunch and it was such a nice surprise -- totally understand how they've apparently been around for over 100 years. I ordered a cheesesteak called the Butchers Hill which was succulent, salty, fatty, and served on incredibly crunchy Italian bread. The staff was super nice and even brought it out to me at the dining area they have in the back that oversees the water (seating is very limited, but available). This is our first time here since they moved one-door north. Same great food, same great service. We used to eat our sandwiches out on the pier, and there are still 4 or 5 two-person outdoor tables between the restaurant and the water. There are around 23 indoor seats at combine-able tables for two-to-five facing the water, one table-for-four just inside the front door, and a bright open full-service 12-seat bar. There's a little bit of on-street parking, and plenty of (paid, I think) parking in a lot around 350-feet to the south. We had light lunch on a weekday around 12:30pm, and easily found indoor seating while watching a steady flow of to-go orders. We split a very-stuffed The Real Italian fresh-tasting cold-cut sandwich on a soft-roll with perfectly-chewy slightly-flakey crust. The added hots had a nice persistent light burn. We had a variety of bruschetta, topped with an all-chopped-olive tapenade, tomato bruschetta, eggplant caponata, and a rich mix of mozzarella curds and cream called stracciatella, each topping on a toasted slice of Italian bread. They were all flavorful, though i'll say that the stracciatella was very different from the other savory toppings and really should stand on its own. We had a simple orzo pasta with fat juicy shrimp and softly-cooked greens. By sharing all those, we managed a happily heartier lunch than we had planned. Lately, we've taken to the summery Aperol spritz, and they make a good tart one. We also made a few choices from their extensive soft-drink fridge: a classic San Pellegrino lightly-tart sparkling no-sugar lemonade, and a more-tart very-citrusy sweet-enough La Dolce Vita Bergomotto soda, which actually had very little notable bergamot flavor. They sell a wide variety of retail foods throughout shelving that covers as much space as the table-seating, very much worth browsing through. One display case boasts sweet flakey cronuts, which are really the best possible glazed layered donut. This is a nice Italian casual dining and take-out deli and grocery destination, and in the future we have to make some time to visit the pleasant bar here, too. read more

This spot was recommended to me by several people since moving to Baltimore so finally went to try it. This location has a market area to buy things like pastas, sauces, wine, sweets, and more (scored some pastina)! It's a casual atmosphere with a bar area, deli area with meats, cheeses, and ready made items to order, and seating. The staff here are super nice and you can tell how much they care about their customers having a good experience. We took a seat in the back and enjoyed looking out at the water. Our order was ready after a short time. We chose to share the Real Italian and a pasta fagioli soup. The sandwich was large and packed full of quality meat and cheese with a good balance of flavors and a nice bread that held up well to the hefty sandwich. This place is legit. The sandwiches we got (the Italian sun and Cubanella) were delicious! Ingredients were fresh and even the bread was really good. We also got the feta pasta salad which was okay. Nothing special. There were some other pasta salads looks really yummy. The interior is a little cramped. More like a tiny marketplace shop (very limited seating if any). Great selection of market items and nice bar to eat/drink at. I'm not a fan with completely mirrored bar, especially in a brightly lit room- who wants to watch themselves eat? Also, I didn't care for the ordering process; the salad/cold food area was at one end of the store, while you ordered at a register at the other end. Nothing was labeled and there was no visible menu, so I just guessed what a few items were, tried to remember them while I waited in line, then ordered. Im sure for regulars this isn't an issue, but it was my first time there. The eggplant and veggie lasagnas were good, but a bit bland. I did buy a few grocery items that are hard to find elsewhere. We loved our experience at Di Pasquale's. We wanted some authentic Baltimore-Italian food, so a deli was a must on our trip. Di Pasquale's really hit the spot. We snagged two seats at the long bar right away at 1 pm on a Saturday. Service was prompt, kind and personable. The bar had a nice neighborhood atmosphere and seemed like there were a few regulars. We ordered sandwiches for there, and some subs to go. We were really happy that Di Pasquale's was so Accommodating with the to do orde and even packed the meat and condiments separately to make sure the sandwiches will be good in Richmond VA tomorrow. I haven't tried anything from here but the Italian sub - which I get every single time and is absolutely amazing. High quality meats and cheeses 10/10. My only qualm with this place is the hours, which is why I docked 1 star! I feel like everytime I try to go, they are closed. I have a job so I cant make it there before 6pm for dinner, and they are closed Monday and Tuesday. Very weird. I'd go so much more if they were open at normal times. read more

Smaller and cozy, maximizing the space. There is a parking lot (metered) right next door. They were busy on a Friday afternoon around 2. We ordered some coffee (Americano) and an Aranciata. Shared the Octopus and Squid salad which are our favorite salads. Outdoor seating with a nice view is available although limited. They had Lasagna and Ziti but I didn't see the hot Pasta dishes that are offered at Marketplace/Canton (as well The Scooch) so some slight differences in the menu. Great market and Italian sandwiches! My friend took me here while I was visiting her, as it's become one of her favorite spots since moving to the area. While I didn't purchase anything from the market the options were endless. There were so many hard to find Italian brands and if I lived in the area, I'd be shopping there all the time. Di Pasquale's is my favorite Baltimore spot for subs, especially for their otherworldly The Real Italian Sub. It is full of flavor, and once you take a bite, it is hard to stop. The lines can be long on weekend mornings, but it is not that bad at other times. They also validate parking (up to 2 hours) for the adjacent parking lot. I've been going to di Pasquales for 15 years. We went today for lunch and were shocked that they used different bread and gave us smaller sandwiches!! What in the world?! How could you do this and not inform people? Your bread is half the sandwich and this bread wasn't crusty or fresh like usual. The sandwich was also MUCH smaller than usual. Having previously ordered to-go from the Brewers Hill location, Haborview came with its own pro & cons. We ordered a Butchers Hill cheesesteak, Tony Ruebino, Chicken Parm, and the mini cannoli trio Pros: -a lot easier to navigate to, with quick simple parking to pick up our order -the Tony Ruebino was packed with meat, fresh coleslaw, delicious sauerkraut, and the right amount of dressing..and I mean packed! -the cheesesteak was smothered in creamy cheese, with hearty slices of thinly cut steak & loads of sauteed peppers. Very hearty. Cons: -the chicken parm was blan- the chicken was thick & well cooked, but the sandwich needed more sauce and cheese. It tasted more like a plain chicken sandwich and less 'parm' -the mini cannoli trio came with in plain, pistachio, and mocha flavors- they were yummy but the flavoring made them taste less like cannoli and more like icing-so good as a creamy dessert, but not quite 'cannoli' quality. Overall, we still enjoyed our Di Paslquale's experience, but with the menu differences and less high quality eats we were used to we may stick to the Brewers Hill location. read more

I loved seeing products (candies, pastas, Nutella even) straight from Italy. I got a hazelnut latte along with a vegetarian sub, "The Calabrese." The latte was too sweet for my liking, but was still delicious nonetheless. The sub was bland and could've been easily made at home and better. It was about $12 and I could make a better veggie sub. We came here after visiting Ft. McHenry. You will have to pay for parking at a nearby lot and when you walk in, it will be crowded as it really functions as a deli and carry-out. If you want to sit down and eat, you will have to take a table behind the restaurant and sit outdoors at the marina. On a lovely day, it is a great place to eat. Omg! Had such a great time visiting Di Pasquales! Even though covid is going on, my husband and I were able to eat at the outdoor seating on the pier/marina area. Perfect place to come with your dog too if you have one (I saw lots of people bringing theirs). We ordered a meatball sub with provolone, sausage and peppers sub with provolone, and a cannoli. The meatball sub literally does come on a loaf of bread. But this bread will change your opinion on all future breads... it tasted like it had been baked an hour ago. Crispy but not hard on the outside but the perfect mixture of fluffy and dense on the inside. Also, on the meatball sub, the proportions of meat to sauce to cheese to bread was perfect. Also, something that impressed me was the it was actually hot all the way through. I know meatballs can be hard to heat in a consistent way. I can't wait to have this again! And the cannoli....If I had a cannoli before in my life, I will now say that I have not. This cannoli right here in the photo is the only cannoli I have ever had. It's the only cannoli For me. The filling was sweet but not too sweet, it almost tasted like cheese danish filling.
