This place is a gem. I found it on Yelp after a morning spent scouring Second Hand for antique furniture. The deli is take out only but the staff were all super friendly and happy to explain their menu and make recommendations. We got the Italian sub and the Old World sub, some pasta salad and cannoli. This is the 2nd location of this establishment. It does not have as many choices as the original, but still enough to ponder what to get. The décor and atmosphere was modernized compared with the original location. There were a few tables to sit at. There were lots of Italian delicacies to choose from. The service was appreciated given how many people were calling in and the number of people there. I had the real Italian sub ($9) and a "piece" of their meat lasagna ($12). The real Italian contained salami, pepper ham, mortadella, capicola, and provolone with olive oil, vinegar, their own special blend of grated cheeses and spices, lettuce, tomato, onions, and hot red peppers. I wanted to weigh this and it was approximately one pound. This was delicious. All of the ingredients were fresh, but I thought the key was their special blend of cheeses and spices. That really put this over the top as well as the bread. I wanted to weigh the lasagna as well because I thought it was rather large. It was approximately a little over a pound in a half. This was great too. There was a mix of meats that seemed to contain sausage and meatball. I'm super picky when it comes to sandwiches as I'm not a big sub-roll fan and that's mostly what you find in Maryland but the bread at Di Pasquale's is crunchy and delicious! I've had the Italian, old world Italian (subbed mozzarella and added mayo-so good), the Jethro Bodine with onions added, and the santino with basil/mayo added (so good)! This. This is the most perfect, delightful Italian sub I have had in recent memory and I am over the moon. The bread was crusty and fresh, the meat was plentiful and literally included all of the best Italian cold cuts, and the toppings were fresh and bright and perfectly balanced. I had to stop myself from eating the second half so I didn't get too full, but it was difficult!! I cannot wait to sample from the full menu at the Highlandtown location. The staff was so incredibly friendly both on the phone and when I picked up my order (they have a great to-go window) and the inside of the market itself looks absolutely lovely and I can't wait to explore it when it's safe. The location is gorgeous and there are tables just outside on the boardwalk to eat at if you feel comfortable doing so. We ordered and picked up some foods and drinks for lunch from this Italian deli.. We had octopus salad, shrimp salad, rigatoni with meat sauce, Italian potato salad, Italian sub, Calabrese sub, muffuletta sub, and a bottle of white wine. Our party of five loved every dish and drink except the muffuletta. The muffuletta just needed more olive salad dressing. The stars of the show were the shrimp salad and Calabrese sub. The shrimps were huge and the dressing was so tasty. The veggies of the Calabrese sub were so fresh and the Italian dressing was so good. The deli also is a mini Italian grocery and wine shop. The deli provided free 2 hours parking at a lot next door. All the employees were masked and extremely friendly. This chain of local Italian deli is one of my family's two favorite places to eat in Baltimore. We stop by every time we are in town. read more

**This location is currently only open for takeout. We stopped by for lunch and grabbed the Real Italian, heated Jersey Boy chicken, and a small side of orecchiette, sausage & rapini pasta. The food came out in a timely manner and the cashier who took our order was very friendly and personable. In terms of the food, the Jersey Boy was pretty good, especially when heated because the fresh mozzarella was extra soft and cheesy. The Real Italian was good, but not the greatest Italian sandwich I've ever had. It seemed a little heavy on the vinegar so it was a tad bit too acidic for me. The pasta side was very basic, not sure if I'd get that again. Overall, glad I was able to try out Di Pasquale's, but I'll have to try other things on the menu out if I were to return. read more

We ordered 4 salads from their deli case and the seafood and the roasted eggplant were delicious. The mushrooms we used as a pasta topping. The artichokes were good but nothing special. I could go back for 4 more, at least, salads and I bet they will be as good. The bread that came with our antipasto trio was really good. The sandwiches and baked dishes I saw looked superb. I did not see a pizza but I hear they are great. Lots of good wine too. Someone got a tray of meat balls and they were lucky I did not steal one. They looked and smelled that good! Old school, nothing fancy American-Italian deli. Super nice people on a crazy busy day. Order ahead online or by phone to help skip the line a bit. When folks find out I live so close to Di Pasquale's, they can't believe I'm not there weekly if not daily. Instead, I've been there twice in a year. And realizing that I can't up it much because their food is all based on bread--delicious bread--but so many carbs! First time I had their Italian sub, which was good, but not so amazing that I was back for the next 10 months. This time I shared meatballs (not the sub, which my husband had last week and said it should have fed 2 people), and a shrimp scampi pizza. Meatballs were good. Shrimp scampi pizza was amazing. Our daughter got the chicken parm sandwich, which she thought was good but not superlative. Our friends love the eggplant parm sandwich, so maybe that's what I need to try next time! Came here a week ago and grabbed some food to go. I got the meatball sub and holy crap, it was by far the best meatball sob I've ever had. They take 1/2 of an Italian loaf and scoop out the middle of the bread then fill it to the bring with sauce, cheese, and some of the best meatballs known to man. The put the scooped out piece of bread on top which acts as a pillowy soft cap to the pocket of goodness that waits underneath. My fiancée got the Italian. I don't typically go for cold cut sandwiches but she offered me a bite and I thought why not. Sweet baby Jesus painted by Michelangelo himself! It was fantastic too! I will DEFINITELY be back to this place despite it being 40 minutes away. We'll worth the trip! You will NOT be disappointed. You'll thank me after a long day when all you have to do is thaw out something freaking amazing and made from scratch from Di Pasquale's that's chilling in your freezer. Old world Italian: deliciously different with an olive spread and quality dried Italian meats. The bread was nicely crusty and paired great with the meat and cheeses. Will order again. Original Italian: great flavor although my personal Taste was not into the sweet and spicy pepper topping. I'm not into sweet on my sandwiches but some people would love it. Chicken Parmesan sandwich. Great flavor but here's wher I got disappointed. The chicken was way too firm and almost dry. One of my favorite Italian places in the city! Do not pass up their chicken parm sandwich. You won't regret the order. We've gotten delivery from here a few times and they're always super fast to delivery - even huge orders. They are very accommodating and have never gotten an order wrong. Their breads are amazingly fresh and have such a nice texture. Their portions are huge: I usually can save half of it for dinner! Their seafood is very fresh and their shrimp salad sandwich was definitely something different, but worth it. The shrimp were huge and there was a lot of salad on the sandwich. The Caesar salad was also a good portion and their croutons taste homemade. Their marketplace is also so cute if you want to stop in. They have a great selection and the stay are super nice. My partner and I snacked on the Seafood Salad and the Octopus Salad which far exceeded expectations. After three days spent in Baltimore, we couldn't find a place that could satisfy everything on our list until we happened to wind up here and were floored by flavor, texture, quality, location, harbor side view and excellent, insightful customer service. Tucked away from busy roadways, Di Pasquale's provides a much needed peaceful setting away from bustling Baltimore streets. Warning! You cannot enter without a mask! I am completely frustrated by these stupid rules! We are vaxxed and STILL are unable to enter some establishments. These inconsistent rules make me insane. Been to the original but i'm so happy that this place is just 2 blocks away from where I live. Super clean interior, pleasant service and most importantly great food. I had the real italian and a special meatball (beef and lamb) and they were both great. Italian sub had Salami, Ham & Capicola, provolone and seasonings with hots that blended together very well. The hots cut through the meats and really added that flavor that was just amazing. The meatball was huge but still had a great texture and flavor. This is a really nice market with all of the Italian classics. You can get all of their items to go but they also have some seating back back to dine in. Our first time in here, we were pretty confused, we didn't know if you ordered upfront, or sat yourself and had a hard time getting direction from any employee. We finally just sat ourselves down at the table and the bartender came over to take our order. We ordered the eggplant parmesan sub and the lasagna. They were both huge and delicious. Once we were seated, not only was service fast but the food came out fast as well. We got two cannolis to go and called it a day. The food was very good and extremely fresh, the times that I have come after that meal I've gotten Italian cookies, deli meats and locally made biscotti.
