Stopped in for lunch on a Saturday and even though the place was packed, we were seated in just a few minutes. The staff are friendly and served us quickly. We got a Peroni beer from the tap, some Italian fries, and the classic Italian sub. DELICIOUS! Every time we stop in the place has a crowd and the environment is fantastic. Lots of great Italian specialties and prepares items for to-go orders. The owners are legit paisanos and they have the flag of my favorite Series A team, Juventus! Di Pasquale's is the absolute best Italian market in Maryland!

When you dine in, food here is amazing and the service is excellent. It can be very crowded and noisy, especially on holidays. It has quite an extensive menus for a small place. I have really enjoyed nearly all the food I have tried while dining in with one exception. The arancini was nearly inedible! The rice was mushed and burnt. It was flavorless other than the Smokey burnt flavor when it was reheated. On the other part of the store they have an Italian market that is well stocked with a coffee bar, pastry counter and deli. Over all, a great place to go. Just note that they close early.

Wow. Coming from an Italian family and living in New York City my entire life my standards for Italian food are incredibly high. Upon coming into Di Pasquale's I wasn't sure what to expect and my expectations were not high, but oh my gosh were they blown away. Quite literally everything I had was without note. I had the muffuletta, caponata and some Pignoli cookies and I truly cannot speak highly enough about each item. The sandwich was wonderful and well balanced, the Caponata was genuinely some of the best Caponata I've had in my entire life. As someone who makes Caponata on an almost weekly basis I was absolutely blown away at this one and would genuinely rank it top five I've ever had. The Pignoli cookies were good as well they were a bit harder than I like, but no real complaints. There's not much to speak to in terms of service here as it's an order at the counter and seat yourself kind of place but staff was friendly and then ambiance is again nothing too crazy but definitely a great lunch spot and so many fun items to purchase. Next time I'm in Baltimore, I will without a doubt be coming back here and would genuinely put this on a must hit list for anyone visiting the city.

So in an attempt to combat the heavy patronage, they stuck a small 5 person bar counter at the waiter station. It's a tight spot to sit and be prepared for the staff to be looking at you when they are actually focusing through you at their tables. Service is good and food is phenomenal. I hate the seating situation. Note: wife went crazy for the fried dough that took her back to her youth working at the Italian Festivals.

Di Pasquale's Marketplace may be one of the best Italian food spots I've been to in a long time. This place has everything you could want, and it's all fresh, authentic, and done right. The moment you walk in, you feel it--clean, welcoming, and full of good energy. It instantly makes you want to come back. We sat at the new six-seater bar area, which was perfect for the occasion. Even though it was busy, the service was on point--attentive, friendly, and never rushed. Everyone in there was smiling, and that tells you everything you need to know. The food is that good. I wanted to order half the menu. The drinks were excellent. We had sangria, an Old Fashioned, and an espresso martini--and let me be clear: that espresso martini is one of the best I've ever had. It's officially #1 on my list. Food-wise, we tried the chip fries, an Italian sub, and a steak and cheese sub that will make you want to slap your momma . Every bite delivered. I'll definitely be back soon. If you're anywhere near the area, stop by--this place truly has it all. Just be careful... once you start ordering, it's hard to stop.

Everyone I talked to said I needed to come try the pizza here. I have to say, I wasn't upset about it. It was pretty tasty. The crust is tasty and I was a big fan of the sauce. I didn't love how the cheese slid off every slice but it slid in the right direction to be eaten so no complaints there. The undercarriage has a good crust and it was nice and hot. I would say skip the vodka pasta. It was a bit too creamy for me. Overall, service was impeccable. I would go back juts for that. Very good Canton neighborhood staple.

They are not kidding when they say the meatball sub is served in half a loaf of bread! It's a behemoth of a sandwich! I loved it. The meatballs were delicious and tender. It had the right ratio of sauce and cheese. I'd definitely get it again.

I have been wanting a good sub sandwich for awhile and made my way over to Di Pasquale's for an Italian sub sandwich. I placed the order online and it was ready for me as soon as I arrived. The sandwich was absolutely delicious! I loved the finely chopped lettuce, the cold cuts and the oil and vinegar were a perfect pairing. The bread was nice and crispy but also soft and held the sandwich together just right! This is a must try place for authentic subs and other foods.

I'm so glad that they have an extensive refrigerated and freezer section of food. I was able to take frozen soups with me which made me happy we stopped in for lunch. We were able to get the cold cuts were famous and the cream of crab soup customer service was good. They have so many things that you can buy to cook with market wise. I really do like the store.

I think I may have just found my new favorite casual Italian spot! My family and I got there around 5:00 on a Saturday and were seated right away. Our server was friendly and very prompt. We all loved what we ordered! The big stand-outs were the Italian Fries and The Real Italian! Everything was truly so fresh and flavorful. We all left saying we can't wait to go back and try more of the menu!

    Erin B.

Di Pasquale's has my favorite sandwich in Baltimore so far. The Real Italian is everything I love about a sandwich-- a good balance of all flavors and generous portions too! The cheese curds were recommended to us and did not disappoint-- so great and so fresh! This was also my first time having a Zeppolone Di Frutta, definitely great for sharing! Overall the market was great, with an option for casual seating or a more sit down restaurant style off the side. All the workers we encountered were also kind and offered recommendations when we weren't sure what to get!

This place is so nice ... came here for lunch. So happy to see an Italian deli/restaurant since we don't see these near Rockville, nearly as much as we did back in NY/NJ. Anyway, we had two sandwiches, the porchetta and the veal with onions and peppers. Both were delicious, the bread was so fresh and they were pretty big. Our waitress and other staff were really nice and helpful too. We were so happy to see zeppoles on the menu and bought 2 with Nutella and one original. They were huge but unfortunately they were nothing like the zeppoles we remembered throughout our youth and they were just okay. However, we love the vibe of the place and would definitely eat here again if in the area.

Omg! The food here is delicious. I've heard great things about this place, but never went. On a cold day, I decided to go with a friend and it was wonderful. Super busy with a great selection of food items in the menu. There was so much I wanted to try but decided on the pasta and was not disappointed. It was seasoned well, light, flavorful, so many clams! I'll definitely be back to try the subs and other pastas.

Could I bring a party of 10 here for lunch? Is there enough room for us to sit together?

yes you can but you need to get there early or you won't get a table for lunch, and believe me you won't be disappointed.

Do you sell fresh pasta? Particularly pasta sheets for lasagna?

I'm not sure if they have fresh pasta sheets, but they definitely have fresh pasta. I would call them and ask.

There was about 8 of us and we were seated downstairs in the bar area at a high top. Despite there being a reservation, it felt like our party was a last minute thought. The table was cramped and the ambiance of the downstairs bar area was dingy and dimly-lit. Our server, who was also the only bartender, did his best to multi task all night, although his demeanor was not very warm or friendly. I ordered the gluten free version of the Samantha fettuccine. Despite this being the only noodle they don't make in house, I had to pay extra for it. Annoying, but not totally unexpected. What was disappointing was the total price for the dish. It came out to be almost $50.... I believe the pasta is marked as market price due to the inclusion of crab meat but when it arrived, there was barely any in the dish. The flavor of the sauce was good but definitely not worth the price tag. I won't be returning anytime soon.
