I came in last week for a mani pedi and decided to try this place since the one across the way had been really terrible the last few visits. I walked in and was immediately greeted by the owner Stephany (sorry if I spelled it incorrectly). Her warmth was refreshing and after telling her what I was hoping for, I was set to work with Cassandra (again sorry if I'm spelling y'all's names wrong!). Honestly, I was a bit worried because it sounded like she was just about to take lunch as I walked in so I was worried she was going to be upset/make the nails go by quick so that way she could get back to lunch. That couldn't be further from the truth! Cassandra was honestly the best nail tech I've ever had in my life and I've been getting my nails done for 15+ years! She was extremely kind, very diligent, and made sure it was a whole experience getting my nails done! The biggest thing I appreciated was the fact that she explained what she was doing as she was doing it and why she was doing it! I've never had that happen before and she was willing to work with my nails for their shape, size, and made my nails look amazing! (And this was only a gel manicure!!) I mentioned to her how I noticed that my nails were weaker and I wanted to ensure that they'd grow back stronger and she made sure to use a lower heat setting for my nails, use stronger top coats, and a better base coat for my nails. Not only that but she gave me extra cuticle oil to apply at home! Besides the nail care aspect, she took the time to get to know me as a person and she made me feel like we had been friends for years. I can't imagine going to anyone else now! Fair warning: she does take her time so if you have somewhere to be, just let her know! Otherwise sit back and enjoy the experience! Pricing was also great considering everyone wants to charge and arm and a leg these days! TL:DR: don't read the previous reviews that are years old, there's a new owner who's made the salon so much better! Get your nails done by Cassandra! I never write reviews, but these nails are so awful i had to. I'm still in the parking lot. That's how upset i am. If I could give 0 stars I would. I get my nails done all the time, but I've never been this upset after. So I went in for a fill. I went in with flat stiletto nails. She replaced 3 of my nails with the curved tips. They aren't the same shape as the rest. I told her several times they're not the same shape. She filed them for a second and moved on every time. I would've had her take them all off, but i have to be at work soon. UGH! Don't bother with them. Now I'm gonna have to get them all taken off and fixed tomorrow. Update: about 12 hours later. Worse salon experience ever! If I could give no stars I could. I went here on 5/1/13 which happens to be my birthday in order to treat myself to a mani pedi, this place is close to my house and I get pizza next door all the time so figured why not. 1. Nail polish selection is bad. Not good quality, crusty and old. 2. Because I'm not talkative lady pulled out her phone and had a whole conversation while doing my pedicure. 3. Nothing was sterilized, and after she clipped my nails she clipped her finger nails! 4. Did not wash the basin of foot spa so (grossest part) I got an infection!!!! Do not go here!!! read more

Probably one of the worst places to even stop by and get anything. We came from out of town and needed a quick eyebrow wax. This place was the closest to my hotel and near a fast food joint. I was taken to the back with my friend. Before going in the room there was a weird smell and I saw old mangos with fruit flies everywhere. I explained how I wanted my eyebrows and whatever her name was (guessing owner) started heating up the wax. She then asked my friend and I if we were from Mexico? We explained that we were from Texas and she proceeded to ask me what the difference was! We decided not to do anything and left. Worst experience ever. Do not go there!!! read more

I took my sister 14 year old to only have a trim . I explained perfectly how and what I wanted (only cut the split ends) nothing alse. The hair stylist unprofessional washed my sister with dawn dish soap!! My sister said her scalp was burning while she left the dish soap dawn brand on her for approximately 30minites to 40 minutes!!! After washing her hair no towel was provided dripping water wet all my sister clothing. She started cutting her hair drastically tiring pices of hair than cutting hair while talking on her personal cell phone talking to her grandchildren what and where he wanted to have dinner. After talking on the cellphone for most of the time she ran outside to the parking leaving my sister half way cutting and started a personal argument on her cellphone. The hair cut she did and work she did was not what I had asken for or my sister leaving her complete hair 10-15 inches shorter and completely destroyed cut with all pieces of hair uneven. I went back and spoke to her and said she was the owner and said very agresive " I can't do nothing about it" and I had to leave the salon. read more
