It brings me no pleasure it writing such a horrible review for any family owned business, but this experience has left such a sour taste in my mouth I must write about it. My experience started by me telling Bill I did not want to get the entire house cleaned because I simply could not afford it. Bill went ahead and called my landlord (who wasn't paying the tab) and went by the landlords instructions to clean the entire house when I specifically told him not to because I knew the rest of the house did not need cleaning, plus I could not afford it. I voiced to Bill very clearly 2 separate times my concern over the price and not being able to afford cleaning the whole place. Then when I walk in 30 minutes into him cleaning he is upstairs cleaning the bedrooms (I told him to only do the living room) and he goes on saying my landlord told him to do the whole house...again the landlord is not the customer so I don't know why he would listen to him over me. Anyways I tell him stop cleaning upstairs and just clean the living room and then he tells me that it is $240 to clean the whole house, and he has a $225 minimum charge. This really pissed me off because if I was concerned about the $240 being too expensive he obviously should have mentioned on one of the two occasions that the service will be AT LEAST $225 DOLLARS. So I let him clean the whole house for 15 dollars extra instead of one room that accounts for about 10% of the total carpet in the house (the math doesn't add up on that). He verbally guarantees me two SEPARATE TIMES that the carpet will look brand new when he is done. The carpet looks the exact same, it looks absolutely terrible. I told him it looks the exact same and he goes on to tell me its because of the type of carpet it is (made from recycled materials) and that that kind of carpet never cleans well. You'd think for bragging about being in business so long he wouldn't make guarantees he knows he can't deliver on. I will be refuting his charge with my bank. Bill operates his business in bad faith and I would never use his service or recommend him to anyone, including my father-in-law and I hate that guy. read more

My review is for Tile Cleaning. Bill, the owner, came to our house and looked at my tile. He said they could get the tile to 'look like new, get the film & dirt off the tile and it will look shiny." That is what I hired them for, the expectations he had set. Two days later his technician Daniel shows up and starts cleaning my two bathroom floors first. He looks perplexed and says "This is travertine. My boss Bill said you had marble floors." I was taken aback that his boss could not tell the difference between marble and travertine?! Apparently marble CAN look shiny but travertine won't look shiny unless you get a much more expensive kind of cleaning. I did not see ANY difference in my bathroom floors and was already a bit agitated and disappointed. I had hired them so they can remove the film and dirt off the tile and make it look "new and shiny", as Bill had promised. I asked the technician to not go further until I speak with Bill on the phone. Bill tried to retract his statements that my floors will look "new & shiny", and started talking about how he "feels we had a misunderstanding". Huh? He could not even tell the difference between marble and travertine and now tries to backtrack. I paid $30 for what the guy had already cleaned and did not have them finish the job. Then, before Daniel left the house, he hand cleaned a small part of the kitchen just to see if I saw a difference. That part of the floor looked WORSE!!! He even noticed it and said "Oh. I may have enhanced the scratches and taken off the top coating!" By that time I was so agitated and I couldn't do anything else to undo the damage done to that small part of the kitchen floor, I was just happy he left. Awful experience. I don't know how they are with carpet cleaning, but DO NOT hire them for high end tile cleaning. read more

I have used Diamond Carpet Care 2x in the past couple years to remove cat pee from our expensive jute rugs and sofas. Both times they have been able to come to our home within 24 hrs, were on-time, and either went above and beyond their described service or charged less than the quoted price. So far, we have had no repeat cat-tastophies in any of the previous problem areas. Can't beat that! My only complaint is that there has been a strong, somewhat unpleasantly sweet odor coming from our newly cleaned rug that has been slowly dissipating over the past week or so. read more

My Friend and future Realtor Carlos suggested I use Bill and his business Diamond Carpet Care as the solution for the extremely heavy staining of carpeting in my Parent's old house. Bill contacted me within minutes of calling Carlos and set up an appointment within 3 days or this last Thursday actually. (Holiday Season and in in so few days!) Very friendly guy and with prices that did not seem believable with the daunting task at hand! But lo and behold the price was unbelievably low and only a little extra got all rugs in the house cleaned as well! And I'm not talking regular stains here... I'm talking nasty stuff! But the place smelt great and all stains had been completely removed! I was blown away! Now the house feels inhabitable once again! Thank you very much Mike! He was nice over the phone but when the appt day arrived it all went down hill from there. We had an appt scheduled for 1030. At 11 they were still a no show and did not bother to call me. Therefore, I called them and he said "Oh, I was just going to call you". Are you kidding me? After leaving me hanging for 30 minutes? He then proceeded to blame a customer for being late. I stopped him right there and told him it was not the customers fault, but theirs. If they would have called me as soon as they found out that the job would take longer and my appt needed to be rescheduled, I would have understood. But I said that they didn't do that at all, and here I am initiating the phone call 30 minutes later. He apologized, but kept bringing up the customer who made him tardy and said he can reschedule our appt and doesn't "know what else to offer me". Wow, how do these places with crappy customer service survive for so long? I finally told him to cancel our appt completely and that we were going with another company. He then said if it doesn't work out to call him back. How ridiculous. read more

I have used Diamond Carpet Care 2x this year and so far I have been very satisfied with their service. I have a home full of kids who can't help spilling drinks, running around with dirty shoes, dropping food all over the place, and not to mention the husband ! Anyways -they do a great job at getting the stains out and I never see the stains re-appearing. Both times they were either on time or early which is also a huge plus. I am very impressed by Diamond Carpet Care. In June, I called Diamond Carpet Care for some urgent upholstery cleaning. Bill was very professional and helpful in explaining the process and services needed as well as competitively beating other companies quotes. When the technician prepared the bill, the quote he gave over the phone was higher then what I was charged. Hoorah as I am always needing to save a few $$$ here and there. Andrew, the technician, was super nice and did an awesome job! So I needed my couches cleaned again and but this time I needed the carpet as well. I called Bill and he gave me the same price as last time for the couches and quoted me an affordable estimate for the carpet cleaning with pet treatment. We have a new puppy and I knew that this job was more than our Little Green carpet cleaner could handle. Andrew came out again, treated the soiled areas and washed the carpets. We were pretty happy until a couple hours later the smell of the area where the puppy had soiled started to come back. Overnight the smell because stronger and stronger. I was so pleased with this carpet cleaner company, they cleaned my carpets and my sofa and did such a wonderful job. They were very professional, asked a lot of questions to determine what I needed and were fast and efficient. They have excellent customer service and are so friendly. I even called back a couple weeks after they cleaned my sofa because my dog peed on it and I couldn't get the smell to go away. We have now used this company 3 times - twice for carpet cleaning and today we had our tile cleaned. They always do a great job! Our tile was so dirty that we didn't even realize what color it was supposed to be until Bill cleaned it today! It looks wonderful! After using the same "broker" for years to clean our carpet, we had scheduled a cleaning a month in advance for a Saturday a.m. What a disaster! We were met by two guys who clearly were not professionals and within seconds decided they didn't want to do the job. Of course the "broker" didn't answer the phone on a Saturday a.m., and actually have yet to return our call. We were lucky that Diamond Carpet Cleaning came up in our frantic search and Bill took charge. He had two professional technicians out within an hour and they did an amazing job. Let me start by saying I have 4 boys and a full time daycare... so I have LOTS of traffic in my home. I met Bill personally when he came out for the estimate, nice guy. I was having my tile cleaned and sealed. The tile is about 12 years old and hasn't been cleaned/sealed since installation. We decided to add the carpet to the order as well when our pre-purchased Groupon fell through. Good thing, because Andrew (technician) did a fabulous job. I have used a few carpet companies and none of them were as good as Diamond Carpet Care. I called them for a party I was hosting and needed immediate cleaning. I reached out to the owner and he said he could come out and give an estimate and if I agreed to the quote, he would fit me in the same week! When he looked over the quote and gave me the total damage I was in shock over how low it was! I mean...how is it even possible that his rates are this competitive?! I thought there was a catch somewhere but after the job I was shocked how clean the carpets were! Some of the stains the companies before weren't able to get out. I have used this company for the last 2 years and will continue to use them. Very professional and does a great job. My carpet looks brand new. I especially like the fact that the owner called me a year after they did my carpet the first time to ask if I was interested in getting them cleaned again. He wasn't pushy or didn't bug about it but it was nice because I didn't have to hunt down his number or remember to call and schedule it. Diamond Carpet Care was referred by a friend. We called Bill, and was able to setup an appointment quickly and easily. We had one room that was very soiled by our dog, and explained that in the call. Bill gave a price quote for best to worst case (including the pet stains/odor treatment), and it was very reasonable ($135-$145 for 3 rooms, about 500 sq ft, and the pet cleanup). The cleaner, Daniel, arrived in a reasonable timeframe on the scheduled day and worked on our 3 rooms, putting the special product on the pet stained room. The next day, we could see a few stains still (lightly). We called about this and Daniel came back out that same day, within a couple of hours. He treated the are again, and all stains are gone now. Diamond CC was professional and did a good job. We recommend them! read more
